Basic Frittata Recipe 🍳🧀🌿
Ingredients:
8 large eggs
1/4 cup milk or heavy cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
1 small onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced (any color)
1 cup diced cooked ham, bacon, or sausage (optional)
1 cup grated cheese (such as cheddar, mozzarella, or feta)
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, chives, or basil)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
Sauté Vegetables and Meat: Heat olive oil or butter in a 10-inch oven-safe skillet (preferably non-stick) over medium heat. Add diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 5-7 minutes. If adding cooked meat (ham, bacon, or sausage), add it to the skillet and heat through.
