Join me this evening when I will joined by the amazing Annie Woo. Annie's journey into the sweet world of chocolates and learning her own way into entrepreneurship are pretty incredible. She went to school for film but left and continued to pursue musical theatre. She was unhappy working as a server at midtown Manhattan steakhouses which ultimately led her to finding a job on Craigslist as an assistant chocolatier in a little chocolate shop in the Lower East Side. There she studied chocolate there for two years and when she moved back to CA, started a farmers market stand which evolved into CPG (consumer packaged goods). in 202o she founded an organic CPG confections company, Sweetduet Chocolate ?. She realized that she didn’t fit in the role she was expected to play as founder: sales. She didn’t want to sell. She wanted to attract.
