Let's Look At 8th Notes On Guitar - Guvna Guitars

We previously talked about subdivisions, whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes

Now let's look at the next subdivision which is called the eighth notes. Put simply, this means we have eight notes in a bar

To play this, we want our quarter notes the same because we're not going to make the tempo twice as fast

We'll play this by verbalizing 1 and 2 and 3 and 4

1 and 2 and 3 and 4 Not 1 2 3 4

Let's try this out first with the D chord. 1 and 2 and 3 and 4
