I first noticed I was taller than everyone like in preschool. I was
0:11
introduced to people and I was like taller than everyone at my preschool so
0:15
I was like huh something's different. I never really had a single growth spurt
0:20
where I like grew a lot. I grew about like four to five inches a year so I was
0:24
like consistently getting taller. I've always been so proud of Macy. She's
0:32
always taken to her height very well just always was never one of those kids
0:37
that scrunched over or leaned over tried to hide her height so I'm very proud of
0:41
her and excited for her to be recognized for her height and for her beauty. My
0:50
husband was 6'5 when I met him. My son is now 6'4 and a quarter and I'm 5'7 so I
0:58
guess there's some kind of gene in there that gives her that tallness but
1:03
everybody's tall except for me. Being tall in general like I hit my head on a
1:11
lot of stuff. Cars are really difficult. My legs are too long for it and like
1:17
other cars I'm just like man spreading just to fit in. If I walk into a regular store nothing will fit me because they don't really
1:33
make clothes in my size so especially for like pants like leggings and stuff I
1:40
have to get them custom-made. My sweatshirts and hoodies are all like I
1:45
think this one's like an XXL so that they're the sleeves are long enough
1:50
because if I get them in like a medium then the sleeves are like too short
1:59
I was never bullied for like my legs I was more bullied because I was taller
2:05
than everyone and they I guess they didn't know how to process that so
2:12
around like sophomore year on it I just stopped caring what people thought of me
2:18
and once I just stopped caring I wasn't affected by anything. The pros of having long legs is that you're like you don't really fit into
2:33
the category of like normal you're kind of like unique you have something
2:39
different and people are like drawn to it almost. She's gonna realize more and more how the fact that she is taller is gonna
2:51
benefit her more. I hope that tall women can see that the height is a gift and
2:56
that you shouldn't be ashamed that you're tall you should really embrace it
