Meet Kevin, the world's tallest dog and gentle giant

When we got him, we'd been watching Home Alone

Look what you did, Kevin! Like, we just kept saying that, and so it stuck

Hello, my name's Tracy Wolfe, and this is Kevin. He's the tallest dog in the world

Kevin's favorite activity is probably taking naps, holding this couch down is his favorite pastime, I think

Kevin is funny, and he is super, super duper friendly. In fact, overly friendly

You don't want to keep your mouth open too much when he's around, because his tongue

But everybody loves seeing him, as long as they don't get whipped by his tail

Kevin can be stubborn, though. He can be naughty. It's usually food-related

Otherwise, he's usually a pretty good kid. Come on, boy. Most of the time, we hear things like

is that a horse or a dog? They ask if there's a saddle or anything that they can put on him

and ride him, the usual. Kevin is a Great Dane, and they were bred to hunt boars

He will try to chase things. He chases the other dogs, so he definitely does have that drive in him

You just wouldn't always know it, looking at him sometimes while he's sleeping

Even though he's in the working breed class, sometimes I wonder about that

So let's see if we can get him up. Kevin, come on. Kevin

Kevin, you want to go? I don't know that he always knows he's the biggest one in the room

but he's always been very gentle with other little dogs. He does fine with the cats

He does once in a while try to chase them, but if he catches them, it's just licks them and they move along

Whatever he does, he doesn't put on a lot of weight. He still stays really thin

but he does eat anywhere from 6 to 10 cups a day of food

He loves the kids. He loves all the kids. They're exactly his height

and so he really gets to get their face as his favorite thing. Alexander is the one that trains him and takes him to classes. Stay

Kevin, find it. Good job. Good job. Both the kids absolutely love him

Yeah, our family is definitely better because he's in it. To officially have Kevin as the world's tallest dog

is really exciting for our family. It's funny because as a puppy

we just kept thinking, like, he just keeps growing. He just keeps growing, and we would say, like

he's the tallest dog I've ever seen. He's the tallest dog I've ever seen

And to actually have that distinction is really exciting for the family

I do not think Kevin is aware of his fame. In fact, I don't think he's aware he is as big as he is

He's continually trying to squeeze into small beds and sit on top of us, do everything that the smaller dogs do

He loves being acknowledged wherever he goes. So I think if he does start to get more acknowledgement

he will start to realize what's going on. Kevin, let's go. Kevin, let's go
