London City Lionesses Star Performs Longest Throw In

Megan Campbell, a player for the London City Lionesses in the Women's Super League, has a super long throw-in. Guinness World Records adjudicators went to her training ground to get an official measurement.

It's no secret that I have a long throw

I played for Man City, Liverpool, Everton and the London City line S's

My throw developed when I was maybe about 12 or 13 and it's just something that I've always had

We set up a cone at the sideline, had it marked out at 35 metres

so that was the record that I had to beat. We had a mannequin in place at that 35 metre line

I run quite fast to begin with and then as I'm getting closer to the line I'll take slower steps

I'll then begin to put my hands behind my head. Then it's all about the trajectories

I probably achieved in my whole career about 20 assists through my throwing
