Highest speed achieved by a rollercoaster launch 240 km/h achieved by Formula Rossa

Found in Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, UAE, the Formula Rossa rollercoaster has carriages built to resemble F1 cars with an acceleration of 0–240 km/h in 4.9 seconds. It uses a hydraulic launcher to catapult its cars on to a 2.2-km (1.4-mi) track inspired by the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit in Italy.
