In one of Back to the Future's most iconic scenes, time traveler Marty McFly pretends to be an alien and wakes up his future father in the middle of the night to convince him to take his future mother to the dance. To seal the deal, Marty blasts heavy metal music in his father's ears, taken from a tape that says "Edward Van Halen."
