the YouTube live stream. Okay, I think we are live on YouTube as well. Yep, we
0:06
are. All right. Hi everyone, it's Global Scholarships and I'm your host AZ. I hope you're all doing well. I hope
0:12
everything is going great. And today, as always, we are here here with another weekly live stream, another Friday,
0:18
another live stream. And as always, I'm here joined by Aean. Hi, Aean. How are you? How's it going with you? Uh, hi.
0:26
I'm doing well, thank you. How are you? I'm doing fine too. Thank you very much.
0:32
So everyone, if you're new here, we are globalcolarships.com. Uh we are a
0:37
platform as you can see. We have a website, we have a YouTube channel. Uh we have a Tik Tok account where we share
0:44
informative stuff about scholarships, about studying abroad in general. And as
0:49
you can see, we have a website where like a platform we have ton a ton of
0:54
free information. As you can see, we have scholarships, uh, guides about scholarships, guides about countries,
1:01
uh, how to apply to universities, cost of studying, that sort of stuff. Hang on, let me just make sure that we are
1:08
live on both sides. Yep, I think we are. Uh, so yeah, this is our website. We
1:14
have guides, about tests and documents, about countries, about free universities. Uh, in fact, we're going
1:20
to today we're going to talk about free universities in Germany. So um yeah, we
1:25
also it's it's kind of a Q&A live stream. So if you have any qu questions about could be about your specific
1:31
situation, could be about our uh maybe you are you want to ask an expert's opinion about something um about what
1:38
you had in mind studying abroad and etc. So just feel free to ask whatever you uh
1:45
whatever you're curious about. Hi there as always of course you are here first.
1:51
Um so yeah this is uh this is our website we have um by the way today we're going to talk about again uh free
1:58
universities in Germany like uh what is it about like what are those like what
2:03
is free education free tuition etc etc so that will be today's topic um other
2:09
than that we have a $3,000 external scholarship global scholarships.com
2:15
scholarship uh given by our platform actually let me share the link with
2:22
That might be better. Are we? Yeah. Okay. I think we
2:29
are live on Tik Tok as well. Yeah. People are starting to join in. Yes. So
2:34
Yani who is the founder of global scholarships and we have the main thing
2:39
that I really use all the time in our platform is our search tool uh which is
2:45
basically a free completely free search tool uh for finding scholarships that are suitable for you uh for which we're
2:52
going like about which we're going to talk in a second. Also as you can see uh there is no register create an account
2:58
or pricing or something like that. It's just you can go to our website right now and use all the uh information. Here we
3:07
have scholarship stories. Basically, these are stories of people who have earned uh very popular scholarships
3:13
around the world. Um um okay. So yeah, Tik Tok is doing that
3:23
thing again. It is getting no video signal from
3:32
my Yeah. Okay. Let's see how long that's going to Yeah, immediately broke
3:38
down. Okay. Um, let me let me see. All right. So, I won't be able to
3:48
show our platform on Tik Tok. I'm not
3:53
sure why it's doing that. I'm going to have to do another research. I cannot really find answers about that, but so
4:02
yeah. Um, okay. Anyway, so these people are
4:08
you can click on any one of these people to like read about their stories, uh,
4:13
how they got that those scholarships, about details, educational background,
4:19
um, etc. So there are a lot of more people joining in on Tik Tok. So I'm going to have Okay, now it's
4:25
showing. Ah, it's just so frustrating. Anyway, u So yeah, you can read about
4:31
all of these. Uh my recommendation is especially if you are interested in a
4:37
scholarship that is very competitive like one of the big scholarships for example this is the government
4:43
scholarship in Australia or you are maybe interested in one of um other
4:48
government scholarships Cheving um here we have government of Ireland
4:53
international education scholarship I think we've never talked about that or scholarship that sort of thing those
5:00
scholarships are very competitive So there will be a lot of people um applying for those. So I think it would
5:07
be a really good idea to learn directly from people who have earned those scholarships about like what really
5:15
um what really makes you stand out. All right. So yeah this is our uh
5:21
scholarship story session. You can click here to see all scholarships.
5:28
Um thank you. I think is that I'm not sure what that was. Okay. Um we have we
5:36
can filter for country for degree funding nationality of course usually scholarships don't really care about uh
5:43
nationalities. So yeah and then we have also um admission results. Basically
5:50
these are some results that we've gathered around the world from especially from American universities.
5:55
Um the results of admissions like applications. Uh let me show you. Uh all
6:00
of these are every single one of these is an application to this university.
6:06
Right? Here's the university. We have nationality. We have SAT. Uh we have expected family contribution, GPA, uh
6:13
whether this they apply with a scholarship or not. UK. Okay. Today we're going to talk about UK a little
6:18
bit too. Um okay. Whose name? Whose name says uh how are you? My CGPA is 3.86 86
6:27
in my bachelor's. Besides this, I have done toffel uh with the score of 78.
6:34
What would be the perfect scholarship for me? But Ail has another scholarship question first. Should I take SAT for
6:42
UK? Now, usually we are more interested in more specific questions. We can help
6:48
you better with that. Uh but for that, since it's UK, I'm going to ask Aean. Aean, what do you think? Uh do we have
6:55
any idea about like SAT for United Kingdom? Uh do you think it would help
7:01
their
7:07
case? Um Aan, I cannot hear you. Are you there? Um Oh, can you hear
7:14
me now? Yep, I can hear you right now. Oh. Um yeah. So the the SAT is is not
7:23
mandatory, but um usually what we recommend is that
7:29
um if you have a low GPA, for example, you can take the SAT. Uh most
7:35
universities nowadays don't really care about uh standardized exams as much as
7:41
they did before. Uh most of the time universities are test optional which
7:47
means that uh it's up to you whether you want to take the SAT or the ACT. Um it
7:55
definitely helps if you get a good score. There are scholarships where it is mandatory. Uh but for admission to
8:03
most universities it definitely isn't. So if you have a good GPA and you have
8:10
for example a good uh language standardized exam score you are set. You
8:15
you don't really need the the SAT or ACT to prove that. Um for some scholarships
8:21
that are provided by governments I think the fullbrite for example uh taking the
8:27
GRRE is uh mandatory but for the most part you
8:34
don't really have to. So it's it's really up to you. Okay. And by the way, that's what I
8:40
meant uh by more detail. For example, if you gave us your CGPA, anyone would be able to answer answer your question
8:47
better like he could have given you more insight. Also, I shared a link with you. This is our search tool. Let's talk
8:54
about our search tool then. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry. H use that link to find
8:59
scholarships. You can filter further. Uh but first, we have a question from Hustain. So Ammon they say uh their CGPA
9:07
is 3.86 in their bachelors. Besides this they have done total score of 87 sorry
9:14
78. Uh what would be the perfect scholarship for them? Uh do you have any specific scholarship that you might uh
9:22
want to suggest looking into or could like we could give them general
9:27
suggestions? Yeah, this is still very vague because we don't even know what countries
9:33
they're trying to target. Um, in terms of scholarships, well, I think the US
9:39
right now is really out of the question. U, students visas have been revoked for
9:46
most people. Uh, so they're not really taking applicants and I don't know uh
9:52
what's happening there. Yeah. So they said they're looking for the United States and it is really out of the
9:57
question right now until things uh are more clear until they come up with a
10:03
plan on how to uh get international students. Now I
10:09
think they're just going with uh this plan of uh checking the applicants
10:16
social media activity for the past few years. I guess uh yes this is the
10:21
approach they're going for but as of right now there is nothing so it's just everything has stopped um I don't think
10:28
anyone should be aiming to go to the United States until uh things are more clear what do you
10:35
make of their chances of for example finding a perhaps full tuition full
10:40
funding scholarship in some other English speaking country because they've given us their TOEFL exam score as well
10:47
perhaps Australia I Australia, Canada too or United Kingdom, they all have
10:52
kind of similar issues at this moment but perhaps not as quite as drastic as
10:58
United States. Uh for sure that um if it's a very specialized course uh
11:06
then 78 would be quite low. I think the requirement would be higher than I think
11:13
78 would fall within the B2 level but I think they would uh ask for a C1 level
11:19
if it's a specialized uh subject that requires actual uh English understanding
11:27
but if it's but there are subjects where this could be uh okay the GPA is good
11:35
so I think I would probably go for
11:40
countries in Europe rather than Canada or Australia
11:45
excluding the UK as well. So I think there are more chances in Europe and uh
11:53
the good parts of Asia. So uh Japan, China and uh South Korea. So you would
12:00
have more chances there. Uh yeah. So I think marketing you would have some
12:05
leeway on your TOEFL exam score and I think even with a 78 score you can get
12:12
fully fund well not fully funded but probably up to full tuition scholarships in South Korea because they offer
12:20
scholarships based on your uh standardized exam scores. So you definitely should look into those.
12:27
Yeah. Okay. Thank you very much. So Ael says um I have a gifted student report from my home country and I also attend a
12:35
special school. Uh if you could give us more information about that special school what like um what it is what it
12:43
is about maybe we can give you a better answer. And says um would this give me an advantage in receiving a scholarship?
12:50
What do you think?
12:56
Um yes I I would I would say so uh good recommendations go a long way.
13:03
So and that practically falls within that. So it's it's a recognition by the
13:09
school itself and if you can back that up by a couple of good recommendations from uh teachers who have been teaching
13:19
you in the past few years. uh you have a great chance of getting a scholarship
13:24
provided that your academic records also reflect that. Okay. Are these scholarships for masters
13:31
or undergraduate? We have all like we have both uh scholar scholarships for
13:36
undergraduates and or masters. I'm going to show you how to find those. You can go to globalcolarships.com especially a if
13:42
you're still watching. Uh here is how you can find uh scholarships in United Kingdom. Even though United Kingdom does
13:49
not really offer all that many uh scholarships. So uh this is our free
13:54
source though. All right. Uh you can go here and type in anything that you're interested in nursing. It could be a
14:00
subject. It could be a country. It could be a specific scholarship maybe you heard about or again let's type it or
14:07
you can just hit enter. Uh let's do that actually. And so we have about 4,500
14:14
scholarships in our database. You can filter these for degrees. So we have
14:19
undergraduate scholarships, we have master scholarships. Um, and how many of
14:24
those exist usually kind of depends on the country. Some countries have more scholarships for like masters. Uh, some
14:31
countries have more scholarships for undergraduates. So it kind of depends. Uh, anyway, you can filter for location.
14:38
For example, we can let's say United Kingdom. Uh, as you can see, we have about 600 scholarships in United
14:44
Kingdom. One thing about United Kingdom is United Kingdom or like United States um usually
14:51
they have high scholarships, sorry, high tuition fees and not that many
14:56
scholarships that cover all of them. So they have a lot of scholarships, a lot of financial aid. For example, this is
15:01
Lancaster University. They have about 12 scholarships, but I'm willing to bet um
15:07
not that many of them are full tuition. for example, okay, we have one full
15:12
funding uh but it's a sanctuary scholarship. Another thing about United Kingdom is that usually their
15:18
scholarships are for uh like their sanctuary scholarships, refugee
15:23
scholarships, they have a lot of Hi there. Uh they have a lot of opportunities, financial aid
15:29
opportunities for people uh who are like displaced people like uh people who are
15:34
looking for sanctuary, looking for refugee or are refugees. The school I attend collaborates with project
15:41
foundations in my country. I get certificates. Okay, I'm going to wait for
15:47
more maybe more information um about that one. Al so uh anyway, as I was
15:53
saying, as you can see, this is about like 20 30 uh,000 uh pounds. So that's
16:00
the time type of tuition fee you'll be dealing with. You'll be have you'll have to deal with probably. And even though
16:07
there are like 600 scholarships, a lot of them are partial scholarships that will not cover your tuition fees. So
16:14
you'll have to pay uh I don't know like £10,000 £10,000 every year or something
16:20
like that. Also uh the United Kingdom can be very expensive uh in terms of living costs and also uh some of them
16:29
are just for again for displaced people. uh but you can look into for example uh
16:35
let's say full toion scholarships. So uh if you're if you're new about like new
16:40
to the whole uh scholarship thing um we have three types of scholarships.
16:46
Partial scholarships, full toion scholarships, full funding scholarships. Partial scholarship means the
16:51
scholarship covers less than the university's tuition fee. Uh so for example about it's if it's 25,000 uh
16:58
pounds maybe the scholarship covers like 5,000 10,000 or it will give you
17:03
something like uh 50% discount or something like that. That's partial
17:08
funding, right? Full tution means it covers the entirety of tuition fee, whatever it is for that university. And
17:15
full funding means it covers the tuition fee and then gives you something more. Could be accommodation, could be a
17:21
living stipen, could be anything like that, right? Uh you can filter for for example full funding. A lot of full
17:28
funding scholarships you'll find in uh United Kingdom will be for like
17:33
sanctuary or refugee scholar scholarships. Uh but there are other scholarships as well as you can see
17:38
presence PhD. Oh hang on let's filter for bachelors. So yeah as you can see this
17:46
one as well I believe reach Oxford. No. Yeah can for example you can
17:53
apply to this uh in Oxford. So yeah you can uh filter for your specific
17:58
situation. We have like filters for subject nationality etc etc. Usually
18:04
they do not matter. Uh it matters a bit more in United Kingdom of course. But
18:10
yeah, that's pretty much it. We've made a lot of videos about like specific programs, more affordable universities,
18:17
uh best universities in United Kingdom. You can check those out. If you have any other specific questions, uh you can
18:23
always ask them of course either butterfly. So yeah, United Kingdom might be a good choice but uh it is expensive
18:31
and uh tip fees are high and there are not that many scholarships I'm afraid.
18:38
Aemon do you want to add anything about this
18:47
subject? I don't think I can hear you again. I think you might be talking. Can
18:52
you Can you hear me? Yep, I can hear you now. Oh.
18:59
Um, so which part exactly? Uh, in general, United Kingdom. They
19:04
asked about United Kingdom. Perhaps you have anything to say or something to add that I didn't mention about United
19:10
Kingdom. Yeah. So, as you mentioned, most of the scholarships are for sanctuary.
19:25
Your mic might be muting itself. Uh I didn't get if you said anything after
19:31
the first sentence. Hello. Hello. Hello. Yeah, I can hear you now. But um yeah,
19:37
I'm not sure. Didn't really hear anything. Yeah. Okay. So, can you hear me now? Yep, I can hear you clear. Yeah.
19:45
So, as I was saying, most of the scholarships in the United Kingdom right now are uh for uh refuge seekers and
19:55
they're sanctuary scholarships. There are scholarships that are offered uh to
20:00
international students, but they're definitely not fully funded. Uh what the scholarships in the United Kingdom do is
20:09
that they bring down the tuition fees from international
20:16
uh from international fees to equal to the domestic fees. So for example, if
20:21
international students are supposed to pay 15k per year, they'll give you
20:27
around uh £6,000 in scholarships. So that is down to 9,000 which is what
20:33
domestic students pay. So that's as low as they are willing to go. Um you would
20:40
need to be able to afford um domestic tuition fees
20:45
basically. Um yeah so I think this is uh one part that I don't think that many
20:52
people are aware of. Uh, and they I I saw that a lot of people just think that
20:59
the scholarships are arbitrary when they give you £6,000 or £10,000, but it's
21:04
not. It's just that they want to equalize or just make that difference that they just pay for the difference,
21:10
but you'll always be paying what domestic students pay. Um, yeah. So,
21:16
that's how the scholarships in the United Kingdom work. Uh there's the Jebn
21:22
scholarship of course for graduate students. Um if you're going for a master's degree uh that's definitely the
21:29
scholarship to go for if you want to go to the United Kingdom because uh the
21:35
quota is big so there are a lot of recipients every year. It is still competitive but I think that's
21:42
uh everyone's best chance to get a fully funded scholarship.
21:48
Okay. Thank you very much. So um we have a first a question from whose name? Uh
21:54
they said can I get okay by the way um who asked about Westminster Butterfly? I
21:59
shared the link. If you have any specific uh like further questions about that university uh you can ask them in
22:06
the chat. But yeah that that will give you uh a lot of information about that university and scholarship which again
22:13
as you can see there are not not that many for undergraduate scholarships. Um
22:18
so yeah other than that you can find like deadlines admission pages etc etc.
22:24
So um said can I get scholarship on the basis of PT test because I have C1 level
22:32
in PT. James Bond by the way we'll get back to your question in a second but first let's try to answer this. Aman
22:38
what do you think? We never really talked about PT I think. Yeah. Yeah definitely PT counts. It's just
22:47
uh we always talk about the TOEFL or ILTS because they're the standard, but
22:53
the PTE is also just as good and there they always so if you go to a
22:59
university's website, they tell you like a B2 in your eyelets TOEFL. So they give
23:06
you the scores actually and then they say or equivalent. So they are considered in other tests as well. The
23:12
fact that Dualingo is considered just tells you that the PTE would uh be
23:18
considered even more. Um so there is so
23:23
is just the same advice I gave earlier about South Korea. So they would give
23:29
you uh there are scholarships that are given on the basis of your TOEFL ILTS or
23:35
PTE score for that matter. It doesn't it doesn't really matter. There are many standardized exams that you can take and
23:40
they all would count. Okay, thank you very much. So, MTOR is
23:46
asking, uh, I'm a refugee student in Kenya. Is there any scholarships that
23:51
might be suitable for me? What the Yes.
23:57
Um so we don't really have a filter for that but there are a lot of as you can
24:03
see like sanctuary scholarships, refugee scholarships. Uh you can uh search for
24:09
these types of um keywords in our search tool for a lot
24:16
there are a lot of Hi there Kuruku. Uh it's great to see you again. Uh we have a lot of those in especially in United
24:22
Kingdom. uh but for example if you look for refugee by the way these are not the
24:28
only ones uh even though I know for a fact that there are more scholarships for for example a displaced persons I
24:35
think you'll have to come up with keywords on this one uh because again we
24:40
don't really have a filter where you can find all of them maybe you can make a video uh or make make a guide or make a
24:47
video about that as well for example there is one in north of Bolognia uh there's one in Mastri in Netherlands,
24:55
uh, one in South Africa, in Belgium, another one in Italy at University of Turin. So, yeah, there are there are
25:03
quite a number of those. Um, what? So, hang on. Okay, this
25:10
is a very quick one. I'm sorry, James Bond. We'll definitely get back to you in a second. What is the minimums result
25:16
to join the universities in UK? Um Ammon, do you have a number uh that you
25:22
can give us right now? Uh it is university dependent. So there is no
25:28
real number. So you just have to check out the universities that uh offer the the program you're
25:34
interested in and you'll have uh the TOEFL requirements or the ILTS
25:40
requirements. Not only that, but sometimes the course itself has specific
25:47
uh test scores requirements. So it's not just the university. The university has a universal one or global one that
25:54
applies to most courses, but then for some other courses, they specify that you need a certain level that's beyond
26:01
what the general one is. So it is really that specific to universities and then
26:08
to the courses. Uh just for for the one before um for the the refugee
26:15
scholarships, they said they're a refugee in Kenya. And for most of these scholarships, you need to be a refugee
26:21
in that country. So if you want to get a the refugee scholarship at a UK
26:26
university, you have to be to have refugee status in the United Kingdom. So you have to be already there, okay, and
26:32
a refugee there. So I'm not sure if they're from Kenya or if they're in Kenya. So that that's the part I'm not
26:39
really sure about. Yeah, I I thought Yeah, when they said they refugee, I
26:45
thought they were planning to move. I'm not I don't really I'm not really
26:51
perfectly sure about the uh like how how the situation works on that one. So
26:57
yeah. Um okay, so let's get back to James Bond. I'm very sorry. Uh it's been
27:03
quite a while since you've asked that question. Hey, as uh where should I go? University of Birmingham or Queens
27:09
University of Belfast for undergraduate in computer science. So I I I absolutely
27:15
don't have any answers for that. Um I I kind of highly doubt that Aean will also
27:22
have an answer because I think it really kind of depends on you. Um Aean, what
27:28
would you say? Um yeah so as you said it it really
27:34
really depends on you and what you want. So um the recommendation cannot come from
27:42
someone who hasn't gone to either university. Uh I think we have uh
27:48
scholarship recipients uh from both universities. you might want to check uh
27:55
our uh the section on on our website about scholarship recipients and then
28:00
filter by university and you'll probably find both and then uh most of the
28:07
recipients are really open to be contacted. So if you are really
28:14
interested and want to make an informed decision, you might want to reach out to
28:21
uh those recipients from both universities. Ask them about what life
28:27
there is like, what the university is like, what the campus life is like, the
28:32
the teachers, and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to answer all your questions.
28:41
Yeah, we have two in University of Birmingham and
28:46
then
28:55
what? Yeah, I think other we don't I'm not sure if we have. Yeah. Anyway, so uh
29:01
let me share the uh because it's I think it's because Hang on. I'll just share
29:07
the link with you to our scholarship stories so you can find for
29:13
yourself. Um, is there a problem with my internet? Yep.
29:20
Okay. So, uh, here you go. James V, you can look into
29:26
that. Um, environmental planning and management. Which universities are
29:31
friendly costwise? So yeah, it kind of depends on if you have a specific country in mind or a region in mind or
29:40
just like asking globally in general. Uh if you give us information about that,
29:46
we can help you better. Uh environmental planning and management graduate, which countries are considered? So okay,
29:53
United Kingdom. I think we've made a video about the most affordable universities in United Kingdom. Uh hang
30:01
on let me so guides cheap and free universities view all
30:08
um hang on do we have a country guide for United
30:16
Kingdom no we don't seem to have
30:24
so so cheap and free like we have cheap and free universities guides
30:30
for different countries. Uh I think you're going to have to find the United Kingdom here because I don't have the
30:37
answer. Uh uh I I I don't find the answer. I don't
30:44
have the answer right now. Maybe Aean uh do you have anything like something
30:50
that comes to mind um for universities in the UK? Mhm.
30:59
like any names that jump your mind. Yeah, they're usually
31:04
Yeah, for especially for international students, they're really really expensive.
31:10
Um yeah, for domestic students, they're like if you're Scottish and you go to a
31:15
Scottish university, I'm pretty sure you don't even have to pay. But um
31:21
for international students, the tuition fees are always uh around
31:28
£15,000. So I think it's a it's just a standard now uh at most universities, but that's
31:38
tuition fees. I'm pretty sure that I saw that the University of Sheffield
31:43
probably is uh quite uh on the cheaper
31:49
side, but that was a few years ago that I saw that. I'm not sure how it is right now, but for the most part,
31:57
yeah, it's 225 right now. Yeah. Wow.
32:04
So, I I think that they're they're all they're all around that that that point
32:10
of uh like 15 to 21K, but I think that
32:16
there there is no university that's below 15 at the moment in the UK. Uh and
32:22
as I mentioned with scholarships, it would go down to exactly £9,000, but no
32:27
lower. So you'll you'll you'll just need to be able to afford it or
32:35
um go for the chap. I don't think Oh, yeah. Well, there's the think big
32:40
scholarship. It is also for 10,000, but it's not much. There aren't many uh
32:47
fully funded scholarships at the moment in the UK. I think their approach is just to
32:55
um recruit international students but at domestic student fees. That's that's as
33:01
low as it goes. Okay. Thank you very much. So Danny, the same pretty much goes for USA or Canada
33:09
as well. In United States, there are some universities like smaller universities that are uh much more
33:16
affordable in terms of like maybe around $10,000 uh which is very uh very
33:22
affordable in ter like in uh USA standards. Uh for both you can uh look
33:28
for scholarship for um articles in that page I gave you. Uh you're going to have
33:33
to look for like a couple of pages. Um, other than that, we kind of do make
33:39
videos about like the most affordable universities in different countries. You might want to look into that as well.
33:46
Um, other than that, UK scholarships. Yeah, it's pretty much the same Davidson. You can do you can just go to
33:52
our search tool and type in United Kingdom. Uh, click on the country and
33:59
then filter for your specific situation here like degree, funding type, etc.
34:05
What about scholarships in Turkey? Can you give some information? There are not that many scholarships that we have in
34:11
our database in Turkey. Uh there are a couple of scholarships in coach university. Um in fact, I think I made a
34:19
video about one of these uh and I think this one is still uh especially like
34:24
actually I was planning on talking about this one today. Uh there are there is a government
34:32
scholarship in Turkey known as Turkey scholarships. Turkey bl uh let me see.
34:38
So the scholarships you have popular government scholarships here. Uh you can look into any one of these and then
34:44
Turkey scholarships or Turkey are here. Uh one thing about Turkey though um
34:51
there we are going through for couple of years uh we've been through a very high
34:58
inflation rate uh that's like an economic crisis and it's not really getting all that much better. Uh so I
35:07
okay I'm not going to go to into a lot of details. Uh I'm like I'm an economics
35:14
student. Uh but basically Turkey has never been more expensive in the last
35:20
couple of decades um because of like econ economic uh policies. So Turkey is
35:27
in terms of dollar in terms of Turkish in terms of anything and everything it is very very expensive at this point and
35:35
don't really rely on these numbers because inflation is very high. So you'll have to uh like these get updated
35:43
uh very regularly uh but you'll have to look into that perhaps uh in their own
35:48
page like government's own page but also if you're coming from another country
35:54
Turkey is still becoming more and more expensive and the way that it looks right now from
36:01
what government says uh it will become even more so in the near future. So in
36:07
the next maybe one year or more than that uh Turkey will become even more expensive. Uh let me show you the
36:15
link send you the link. Yeah. Uh you can look at that. We've talked about this scholarship. Uh you can see the video
36:22
here or you can click here to see this. Yeah I think
36:30
this yeah this is the government's page for this scholarship. But again the numbers are not really um in Turkey as
36:38
well there is no no there's no tool that we can quite uh
36:44
confidently use to make uh sense of the numbers because uh the foreign
36:49
currencies are not really working uh as well. So yeah keep that in mind.
36:55
Economically not very um not very friendly I would say. Finelana asks,
37:02
"How smart do you got to be to win the mech scholarship?" I I don't think I can
37:07
answer that. Uh obviously it's a very competitive scholarship, but also uh I
37:13
think there will like one thing you can get advantage
37:19
uh in is the way you apply. Yeah. for like
37:24
because uh there are a lot of um small details. This is both this goes in my
37:30
opinion for both and um Korea scholarships, government scholarships as
37:35
well. The way you apply really really matters. Obviously your like other scores like um language test scores etc.
37:43
Those are the things that you have to uh accumulate uh during the years that like
37:50
before you are applying but also uh looking into details and how to decide
37:55
how to apply which universities to apply uh what track to go for uh like embassy
38:01
or the university etc etc those also really matter. Uh so if I think the only
38:07
thing that I can say is that if you are smart about the way you apply to that scholarship, I think it will most
38:13
certainly give you a certain advantage. Other than that, uh yeah, not not really easy to say much. Um Aean, what would
38:22
you say about this? Uh yeah, I would say probably you don't
38:29
even have to be that smart to be honest. Um I think there are many people who are
38:35
smart but their uh their grades don't reflect that and there are people who are probably not as smart but have
38:43
worked hard and have good grades. Uh well not that grades are the most
38:49
important thing for this but they are a factor and as you said like you have
38:54
just to be smart about how you go about applying to scholarships. It's not really about being smart. So there is no
39:00
IQ test you take to get a scholarship. It's just about your approach uh your
39:06
essays and how you represent yourself and your recommendation letters and what
39:13
they say about you. So these are the things that are really really important
39:19
when it comes to applying to scholarships. Uh yeah. So being smart in general, it's
39:26
not that really important, but being smart about how you go about doing it,
39:32
how about how how smart you go about uh applying to uh these scholarships is uh
39:40
what makes the difference at the end. Yeah. Um okay, thank you. So I don't see
39:47
any other questions right now. So uh today we're going to talk about usually every um every week every live stream I
39:55
try to bring in a scholarship opportunity uh that is open right now a good scholarship usually I try to make
40:02
something that you are interested in uh like full funding scholarship or full tuition scholarship let's say in United
40:08
States but today I want to talk about not one scholarship but um a kind of
40:14
like a phenomenon that we have uh which is free tuition universities in Germany.
40:19
So, I'm just going to type in Germany here, right? Uh so, in Germany, there
40:26
are a lot of universities and I do know that a lot of you are interested in studying in Germany. Uh we have a lot of
40:32
universities in here that do not charge tuition fees. So, let's click on Germany. Let's click on full tuition. Uh
40:39
so, we have about 43 scholarships. I mean, these are not scholarships per se.
40:45
These are more free education. uh the universities does not charge tuition fee. You only have to pay a semester fee
40:52
which is about 300 uh €350 per semester.
40:57
Right? So we have about 43 universities in our database that give you tuition
41:03
free education. Um and of these about uh let's
41:08
say let's choose bachelors and let's choose currently open. about 28 of these
41:13
are open for application right now and I'm right now trying to make as many uh
41:19
tutorials application tutorials as I can uh kind of bit detailed the application
41:24
procedure of German universities but anyway you can click on any one of these
41:30
universities okay uh and go let's go to the scholarship page again as you can
41:36
see your grade does your level of study does not degree does not matter bachelor
41:41
mast's and PhD. Uh this is for example also university. Uh we have the deadline
41:47
here and again you have to pay only 300 or so uh euros per semester. That's just
41:54
the semester fee and that's it. You also don't have to uh apply for a scholarship
42:00
or anything. just you just have to apply to the university and if you're admitted you get pretty much free education uh in
42:07
terms of tuition fees obviously um because Germany universities don't really have that many uh other
42:13
scholarships since the education is all already free uh you can you can still
42:19
click for example here by the way if you have any questions about any scholarship or any university uh that we have paid
42:26
for you can just leave your questions here and he only answers every single question in this uh comment section.
42:35
I've never seen any question going unanswered. Uh this is where I would put my questions. So, okay, we couldn't find
42:42
a page for this university. Uh let's try another one. For example, uh Aan
42:48
University, right? For which I recently made a an application tutorial. So, if
42:53
you want to see how to apply to this university, you can go and see that. Uh
42:58
again pretty much the same. We also by the way have dad scholarships which is the government scholarship in Germany.
43:05
Uh it is full funding of course it covers a lot and we have scholarship
43:10
stories here as well. Wait this is the
43:15
university. Yeah. Okay. So let's click here to go and see their page. Not much
43:21
to be gained uh not not much to be learned uh about the scholarship. But
43:26
usually one thing that I really like about Germany universities is that when you go to their page like cost and
43:31
finances, even though they do not give you a lot of scholarships other than free education that they already give
43:38
you, uh they give you a lot of information about like where to find maybe student loans, where to find other
43:44
scholarship opportunities, part-time job opportunities, and they usually give you
43:50
a lot of information about how much you would be spending there. uh like
43:55
depending on the university depending on uh the city that you're living in and it's usually about like €800 uh
44:03
€900. Uh one thing about also one thing about uh Germany universities is that if
44:09
you want to go and study in Germany uh there's something called a blocked account which is about uh an account
44:17
that you have to have like uh about €12,000. Uh that is your money. You
44:24
don't have to pay that to the government. Just government wants to make sure that you have enough funds to
44:29
study there uh for an entire year. So like every month you get uh one month
44:35
worth of that. So but if to be able to go there and study you have to have like 12,000 euros in a blocked account uh
44:43
before you go there. That's one of the main things that a lot of international students have to deal with when going to
44:50
going to Germany. Another things that uh when when you're applying uh a lot of
44:56
Germany unities
