all right so this is going to be a short
0:01
one hopefully today we're going to see
0:03
the application procedure of University
0:05
of Melbourne as you might know it's what
0:07
like it's the highest ranking University
0:09
in Australia and and the online like the
0:12
entire application procedure is online
0:14
so like you need a couple of documents
0:16
like documents about your uh previous
0:18
education about your English proficiency
0:20
and if you have those uh you can like go
0:22
through the entire application procedure
0:24
completely online and we're going to see
0:26
that step by step and I think it's up
0:28
for another like 20 days so yeah let's
0:31
um let's get to it now as always you can
0:35
just start by Googling the name of the
0:36
University you can read about it online
0:39
or you can go to Global scholarships.com
0:40
which is a completely free website with
0:43
like a a huge amount of information
0:45
about universities about scholarships
0:47
etc etc we have a Search tool you can
0:49
use that to find scholarships blah blah
0:51
blah we talk about that all the time uh
0:53
today we're going to just type in
0:55
Melbourne right and then in the
0:57
institution section we have iners of
0:59
Melbourne let's click on that and this
1:01
is our page for this University I'm
1:03
going to put it on the like in the
1:05
description and in the pinned comment so
1:08
as you can see this is like a huge
1:10
university it has four different
1:12
scholarships usually partial funding
1:14
there are not that many full funding
1:16
Scholarships in Australia and here we
1:18
have like application procedure how to
1:20
apply and then we have deadlines here so
1:23
we have like Admissions and scholarship
1:24
results like two people who got accepted
1:27
to this from Middle East and Asia you
1:30
SATs and GPA blah blah blah we have the
1:33
tuition as you can see tuitions are high
1:35
uh in Australia usually tuitions are
1:38
like on the higher end which are like
1:39
kind of on par with universities in
1:41
United States or Canada and if you have
1:44
any questions by the way we have uh
1:46
scholarship recipients so basically
1:48
these are the people who have received
1:50
scholarships from this University in
1:52
this University and Global scholarships
1:54
basically find these people and have
1:57
them tell their stories to us so you can
1:59
just click on any one of them and then
2:00
learn about their stories like gpas
2:03
which are not insanely High their
2:05
Journey blah blah blah you can read
2:07
about those yourself so uh by the way we
2:10
have a comment section on the bottom of
2:12
every page that we have and if you have
2:13
any specific questions about a
2:15
university about a scholarship whatever
2:17
it is you can just leave them here and
2:19
he only answers all of them basically
2:22
who like he's the founder of global
2:23
scholarships and you don't even have to
2:25
like create an account for that so yeah
2:27
anyway this is all the information we
2:29
have for this University and if you want
2:31
to apply you can go and click on
2:33
Bachelor domastic and international
2:35
students admissions page and then here
2:37
we have as you can see like application
2:39
guides undergraduate graduate coursework
2:41
blah blah blah click on undergraduate
2:43
click on International applications so
2:45
basically we have applications for start
2:47
year and applications for mid year uh
2:50
today like I'm going to choose
2:51
applications for mid year but it's
2:53
pretty much the same for start year um
2:56
international student M apply via vtac
2:59
for the start year intake if they are
3:00
currently completing an Australian year
3:03
12 so for mid year pretty much the same
3:06
all other International students must
3:08
apply directly to University of
3:10
Melbourne so if you're not from New
3:12
Zealand or Australia blah blah blah you
3:14
go to here click on this and this is
3:17
basically an online application guide
3:20
for international students here we have
3:22
entry requirements you can click on here
3:25
basically they kind of uh depend on the
3:27
course you want to study and then you
3:29
have supporting documentation what
3:31
documents do I need to provide
3:33
verification translating blah blah blah
3:36
you can learn more but like by just
3:38
reading these in detail which I
3:40
obviously highly advise and after that
3:43
you come here and apply online now we
3:45
click on that which will take us to
3:48
their basically portal okay before
3:50
applying you need to know the following
3:52
what course you're going to study what
3:54
the entry requirements are information
3:56
about your qualifications copies of
3:58
transcripts blah blah blah providing
3:59
false or misleading information
4:01
including that from other education
4:03
another educational institution is a
4:05
serious offense so yeah International
4:07
students if you are if you require a
4:08
student visa to study your course at any
4:11
stage of your enrollment you must
4:13
demonstrate that you are a genuine
4:15
applicant applicant for entry the
4:16
university May request this information
4:18
from you during the assessment blah blah
4:20
blah okay so basically if you already
4:23
have an account you just click on log to
4:25
apply if you're a new student you just
4:27
click on apply as a new student let's do
4:30
that all right so now we're going to
4:32
give them our like personal details blah
4:34
blah blah to create our account so I'm
4:36
going to do that very fast I don't want
4:38
to make this video very long and I'm
4:40
just going to skip to the end uh and we
4:41
can see that basically I'm going to give
4:43
them some fake information and I cannot
4:45
stress this enough I'm only doing that
4:48
because I'm not going to submit that
4:50
this uh application at the end so I'm
4:52
not going to give them a fake
4:54
application which is why I feel free to
4:57
give them like use fake information here
5:00
all right so this looks good uh like we
5:02
gave them some information personal
5:03
details title name family name date of
5:06
birth gender and email and phone details
5:09
by the way uh you have to put at least
5:11
like none of these look like mandatory
5:13
but you have to put at least one phone
5:15
number or it won't let you go go forward
5:19
and address details citizenship and
5:21
residency details here uh country of
5:24
citizenship like I've chosen
5:25
international student with a student
5:27
visa temporary resident Visa or a vis
5:29
their Visa or intend to apply for one of
5:32
these visas and submission country
5:34
student agent relationship I don't have
5:36
any education agent managing my
5:38
application obviously if you have that
5:40
you can just choose that here and give
5:41
them information about that cultural
5:43
details country of birth uh main
5:45
language spoken at home do you have any
5:48
Aboriginal or tourist straight Islander
5:50
status which is know for me have you
5:52
ever have you previously studied at the
5:54
University Melbourne no and disability
5:57
so I've chosen no but if you choose yes
6:00
here then you're going to give them
6:02
you're going to need to give them some
6:04
information about that like low vision
6:06
blind medical condition um acquire brain
6:09
injury or something I'm going to choose
6:11
no here and then of course terms and
6:13
conditions which I agreed on so we click
6:16
on proceed with registration okay now we
6:19
have Australian or equivalent study
6:21
details please provide completion
6:23
completion details of your Australian or
6:25
equivalent Year to all study this
6:27
information is for government reporting
6:29
and planning purposes only please
6:30
provide completion details the same um
6:34
I'm going to choose year 12 and then you
6:36
can fill out this information but it's
6:37
not mandatory and then we have previous
6:39
study details please select add a record
6:42
for of previous study to enter details
6:44
of any previous study that you have
6:45
undertaken you're able to add multiple
6:48
records so let's click on add a record
6:50
of previous study so I've chosen country
6:53
Turkey for institution name as you can
6:55
see these are all universities so if you
6:56
have any education had any education in
6:59
University you can just choose them here
7:02
and then give them your information U
7:04
but today we're going to apply for like
7:06
a bachelor program so I'm going to just
7:08
cancel this one for now and proceed with
7:10
registration all right so let's review
7:12
our information it's all here and then
7:16
there's nothing wrong so let's click on
7:17
proceed with registration and boom you
7:19
have been successfully registered as a
7:21
user in our system an email has been
7:24
sent to your email containing details of
7:26
your username and password you'll need
7:28
these username and password password the
7:30
next time you wish to use the University
7:32
of Melbourne online application system
7:33
so let's click on proceed with
7:35
application once again now uh use
7:37
criteria below to search for what you
7:39
would like to apply for you can find the
7:41
search if there are too many results
7:43
when you find uh what you wish to apply
7:45
for select the apply button to proceed
7:48
so you can choose anything else here uh
7:51
let's say we want to apply for medical
7:53
school and let's hit
7:56
enter so yeah you can add anyone of
7:59
these biomedical uh biomedical science
8:03
uh or let's say computer
8:06
science right uh you can choose any one
8:08
of these to add all right so let's
8:10
choose um Bachelor of Science let's say
8:14
medor intake and then Bachelor of I
8:18
don't know agriculture let's choose that
8:19
one
8:21
too okay so these are added on to my
8:24
courses section and if we want we can
8:27
just delete like remove one of these or
8:30
uh we can change their um their position
8:34
in our preference let's say let's let's
8:36
say Bachelor of Agriculture is our first
8:39
preference right let's click on this and
8:41
boom there it is so let's proceed with
8:43
application all right so these are the
8:44
courses we want to apply to Pro seeed
8:47
with application all right now we're
8:49
going to give them a lot of information
8:51
about our ourselves our like our
8:54
education proficiency blah blah blah
8:57
basically this is uh this is like the
8:59
last part part of the application
9:00
procedure we have application
9:02
requirements right so requirement
9:04
academic result for secondary studies
9:07
you must provide detailed information
9:09
regarding your senior secondary school
9:10
studies blah blah blah this information
9:13
should be should have been entered in
9:14
the previous study detailed section
9:16
during registration process which we did
9:18
please select the most appropriate
9:20
qualification from the list provided so
9:22
International baloria was what we've
9:25
chosen before and I'm going to go with
9:28
that right now now so further I IB
9:31
verification details uh let's just give
9:34
them some something like example one
9:37
like personal IB personal code please
9:39
upload supporting documentation official
9:42
academic transcripts for all secondary
9:43
school studies including an official
9:46
explanation of theg grading system and a
9:48
statement of completion if applicable so
9:50
we click on upload a new file choose
9:53
file so let's choose a random document
9:55
and then we click on up upload files so
9:58
we have to do that on this to finish
9:59
uploading this one it will not let us
10:02
upload another file so yeah it is
10:05
uploaded Finals result let's choose
10:07
let's choose a date let's say I don't
10:09
know March the 4th and then Gap in study
10:12
I intend to undertake higher education
10:14
elsewhere before commencing my study at
10:17
the University of Melbourne let's say
10:18
now requirement academic results for
10:20
tertiary Studies have you undertaken any
10:23
tary studies outside of the University
10:25
of Melbourne if we choose yes we're
10:27
going to have to give them information
10:29
I'm going to choose no here let's say
10:31
confirm okay secure your place in a
10:34
graduate degree package a graduate
10:36
degree package provides eligible High
10:38
achieving students with a combined
10:39
undergraduate degree offer and a
10:41
guaranteed place in the graduate program
10:43
blah blah blah you can read about this
10:45
this is a very specific thing in this
10:47
University in this program so I'm not
10:49
going to go into a lot of detail are you
10:51
interested in a graduate degree package
10:53
program I'm going to choose no here then
10:55
we have requirement country of last
10:58
education uh Ed for Bachelor of Science
11:00
and Bachelor of Agriculture please
11:02
indicate the region country where you
11:05
have most recently studied or are still
11:07
studying let's say I'm going to say
11:09
turkey and from turkey and then English
11:11
requirement so all applicants must meet
11:13
the English language requirements of the
11:15
university to be eligible for a place
11:17
can be satisfied in a number of ways for
11:19
more details you can click here please
11:21
indicate how you have met or will meet
11:24
the English language requirements so um
11:26
approved Secondary School English
11:28
subject Tel ilts approved English
11:31
language tary institution and so like if
11:34
you are studying or have studied in a
11:36
like high school or university that was
11:39
teaching their subject your subject in
11:41
English peeron test of English Cambridge
11:43
certificate in advanced English and
11:46
other and let's here let's choose Tel I
11:49
mean it's pretty much the same we're
11:51
just going to give them information like
11:53
verification blah blah blah if your
11:55
English scores are below the
11:57
University's requirements would you like
11:58
to be be considered for a packaged
12:00
English course um if you can choose like
12:03
if you want you can choose yes I'm going
12:05
to choose no here and then we have
12:06
obviously tle verification details to
12:09
enable your tle results to be verified
12:11
online please provide your appointment
12:13
number example in addition to official
12:16
official documents and we're going to
12:17
upload that too to assist in Expediting
12:20
the verification of your results please
12:21
submit your scores to University of
12:23
Melbourne uh institution code blah blah
12:25
blah so once again I'm going to give
12:28
them just some random number here
12:30
because this um this application will
12:33
not reach them in any way whatsoever so
12:37
I think it's fine to give them put in a
12:39
random number here uh supporting
12:41
documentation so first let's choose date
12:43
of issue let's say 25 February documents
12:48
attachment um let's choose a random file
12:51
and then upload files all right so
12:53
that's also uploaded uh requirement
12:55
preferred major please confirm your
12:57
prefer preferred major area of focus
13:00
study in your undergraduate program this
13:02
is required for Bachelor of Science
13:04
let's say uh you would know more about
13:07
your own subject uh I'm my subject is
13:10
economics and it wasn't here for
13:12
bachelor so I'm going to say just
13:13
physics um requirement application Sorry
13:16
appointment of authorized representative
13:18
applicants may choose to apply for stud
13:20
through an education agent registered as
13:22
an official representative of the
13:23
University of Melbourne uh if you have
13:26
that you can click on click on yes here
13:29
I'm going to choose now all right
13:31
sponsorship agreement sponsorship
13:33
Arrangements sorry and do you have or
13:35
expect to have any external sponsorship
13:37
Arrangement relating to your study this
13:39
includes sponsorship by a company home
13:42
government or scholarship body in
13:44
support of your proposed studies usually
13:46
you would have this um if you're like
13:49
studying your Masters or PhD any
13:51
graduate like research related uh
13:54
studies please not that this question
13:56
refers external
13:58
scholarships sponsorships only you do
14:00
not need to indicate your intention to
14:02
apply for scholarships offered by the
14:03
University of Melbourne successful
14:05
applicants will be automatically
14:06
considered have you been awarded a
14:08
scholarship or sponsorship let's if
14:11
choose yes detail details of awarded
14:14
sponsorship you give them information
14:16
I'm going to choose no here I have
14:19
applied or intend to apply for a
14:20
scholarship or sponsorship I'm going to
14:22
choose no here as well um again this
14:25
only um refers to external sponsorship
14:29
so like if you're planning to or you
14:31
intend to apply for a scholarship from
14:34
the university University of Melbourne
14:35
you also choose no on this Advanced
14:38
standing do you intend to submit an
14:40
advanced standing application Advanced
14:42
standing is acknowledgement of Prior
14:44
study granted towards your current
14:45
degree based on prior study or work
14:48
experience um you can choose yes and
14:51
give them information click here to
14:53
proceed with your advanc standing
14:54
application I'm going to choose now here
14:56
and confirm and then we have
14:58
accommodation options the Melborne
15:00
accommodation program provides a range
15:02
of high quality University approved
15:04
student accommodation options taking
15:06
advantage of the map lets you organize
15:09
your accommodation before you arrive uh
15:12
so let's add answer here are you
15:15
interested in applying for accommodation
15:16
let's say yes right uh I'm doing this
15:20
because this is directly from the
15:22
University unlike the scholarship
15:24
question and I believe a lot of you
15:27
would be interested in cation from the
15:29
University please visit this website for
15:32
more information on how to apply for the
15:34
M8 you can click on here and go to the
15:37
University's page which is not
15:41
found I guess they're like working on it
15:45
hopefully uh but at least if you do that
15:48
you will let them know that um you want
15:52
you want like you're interested in
15:53
accommodation and then requirement
15:55
passport details please provide a scan
15:57
copy of the details pay P of the
15:59
passport that you intend to use if you
16:01
travel to Australia as a student if you
16:03
currently do not hold a valid passport a
16:06
different form of government issued
16:08
photo identification may also be
16:10
accepted in the meantime although it may
16:12
not be required at this stage it will
16:15
speed up the pro processing of your
16:17
application if you include this
16:18
documentation with your application if
16:20
your course application is successful a
16:22
copy of your passport Details page may
16:25
be required before you can receive an
16:27
unconditional offer so
16:29
basically we just click on upload new
16:31
file here and do pretty much the same
16:33
thing I didn't choose any files though
16:37
yeah okay let's upload a new file choose
16:39
file right and then upload files and
16:42
that's it let's click on set first let's
16:45
click on Save and then that's sorted out
16:48
let's click on Save and continue upfront
16:51
application payment so first of all we
16:52
need agree to conditions of application
16:55
and applicant declaration and then up
16:58
front application payment all
16:59
Internationals International students
17:01
must pay this application fee in certain
17:04
circumstances this fee may be waved for
17:06
students who have supporting evidence
17:09
for a fully funded tuition fee
17:11
Arrangement sponsored details on how to
17:13
apply are available online please note
17:15
that requesting a fee waiver will delay
17:17
the processing of your application if
17:20
you pay the fee up front and seek a
17:22
waiver afterwards the payment will not
17:25
be refunded so you can click on here uh
17:28
to apply for a fe waver current
17:31
University of Melbourne students
17:33
applicants are applying for research
17:35
higher degree
17:36
programs um cityroad blah blah
17:40
applicants who are seeking asylum in
17:42
Australia I think that's it so not it's
17:44
not for a lot of people I have to have
17:46
very specific conditions to be able to
17:48
apply for this so let's click on pay and
17:52
submit application and here we are in
17:55
the payment section it is 150 on
17:58
Australian dollars and you give them
18:01
your Visa or Master Card information
18:03
your name on card card number expire
18:06
date CCV and authorization and make
18:09
payment obviously I'm not going to do uh
18:11
go through the payment here so but after
18:13
you apply like you make the payment for
18:15
