0:00
so every week I try to do like I do my
0:02
best to bring you something a
0:04
scholarship that is open for application
0:06
a full funding scholarship Right now
0:09
there are not that many uh unfortunately
0:13
and the ones that like in Singapore I
0:16
think there was one in United States We
0:17
talked about those very recently So
0:20
there are a couple more in China China
0:22
is kind of overlooked uh they have very
0:24
good institutions very good universities
0:27
very good education in some universities
0:29
Uh they have very affordable tuition
0:32
fees and they have very very generous
0:34
scholarships that go overlooked So as
0:37
you can see this is for bachelor's
0:38
masters and PhD Usually Chinese
0:40
universities have this just like one
0:42
scholarship that is for everybody It's
0:44
in Yanshan University Not the greatest
0:47
university in China but a very uh very
0:50
affordable a very very affordable
0:52
university with a very generous
0:54
scholarship It's full funding There are
0:56
like no specific nationalities no
0:58
specific subjects And you can see the
1:00
deadlines here So it covers it gives you
1:03
about like 16,000 uh Chinese one for
1:07
Chinese yuan uh every year for bachelors
1:10
If you're a master student it covers
1:12
tuition accommodation and a monthly
1:14
stipent Usually you need about 2,000
1:17
Chinese yuan for uh like if you live uh
1:20
in Beijing as well Uh so yeah keep that
1:23
in mind This wouldn't be enough to cover
1:25
your entire living costs So yeah it
1:28
covers pretty much everything for uh PhD
1:31
students but still for bachelors and
1:33
masters it covers quite a lot Uh by the
1:35
way universities let's see about the
1:38
university It's not in Beijing It's not
1:40
in a very central location which makes
1:42
it more affordable Of course like
1:44
everything is more affordable in places
1:46
that are not like very central So this
1:49
covers your tuition fees as well It's
1:51
like this is at least full tuition but
1:53
already um tuition is not extremely high
1:56
It's about Yeah it's about $2,000 So
1:59
yeah So this is the university You can
2:00
get more information or if you want to
2:03
see what it looks like Let's see that
2:05
Yeah we have the eligibility criteria
2:06
here Um if you are like for Chinese and
2:09
English taught programs you can get more
2:12
information here of course past
2:13
participants good health academic scores
2:17
here application process the deadlines
2:20
and if you want to get more information
2:22
of course as always you can click here
2:24
to go and see their page uh they have
2:27
like different pages for preparatory
2:29
bachelor master and PhD program You can
2:32
click on any one of these to see It's
2:34
pretty much the same information but you
2:36
can also contact the university That's
2:38
the main thing you can get here And the
2:40
application deadline is made Uh that's
2:42
pretty much it Anyone do you want to add
2:43
anything about this scholarship um I
2:46
mean it is quite the straightforward
2:49
scholarship but it is very similar to
2:51
many scholarships uh in China Although
2:54
it's not multi-tiered it is tiered in
2:57
the sense that there's tiers for degrees
3:00
rather than for academic merit Yeah So
3:04
for bachelor students the tuition is not
3:06
included Although um a stipend of 16,000
3:10
Chinese UN is included yearly Uh for
3:14
masters and PhD students tuition is
3:16
covered plus a monthly stipen And to put
3:19
things into perspective I think uh 1,000
3:22
Chinese un would be around
3:25
$150 uh give or take So that also tells
3:28
you how affordable life is in China even
3:31
if you don't have the scholarship Uh so
3:33
that stipen I think many many people
3:36
would be able to just afford themselves
3:39
It's a plus But if you don't get any
3:41
stipend or if you don't get any
3:43
scholarship uh you are very likely uh
3:45
able to cover your studying fees at
3:49
Chinese universities Yeah So concerning
3:51
the requirements they're very standard
3:53
uh when it comes to language
3:54
requirements or being in good health
3:56
That's always something they're looking
3:58
for That's always a requirement Yeah So
4:01
I I think there is nothing that stands
4:04
out to me that really needs to be uh
4:06
discussed that we haven't discussed
4:08
before about any other uh scholarship in
4:11
