Hello everyone and welcome to Global Scholarships, your go-to channel for all things related
0:06
to studying abroad. In this episode, we will look at the postgraduate admission procedures of University of Aveiro
0:13
in Portugal. In our last video, we showed you a brief preview of University of Aveiro and their undergraduate
0:20
admission procedures. If you haven't seen that video, make sure to check out the link in the description below
0:26
to find it. We go over all the procedures and requirements for incoming undergraduate applicants
0:33
Once you've watched that video or only need the postgraduate admission procedures for
0:38
University of Aveiro, then keep watching until the end. So let's go over the procedures
0:46
The first step is always going into Google and searching for University of Aveiro
0:52
Next choose the first option named Universidade de Aveiro. The website might be in Spanish, so click on the EN button found on the upper right
1:03
side of the homepage. This will turn the webpage into English. Next click on International Students on the top most bar
1:14
After this, you will be redirected to a new webpage. Scroll down until you find the Why Portugal section
1:22
Click on the Applications. Scroll down and you will see Master's Degree, PhD, and other postgraduate applications
1:32
In comparison to the bachelor's requirements, the admission procedures and requirements are the same as Portuguese students
1:39
So let's click on the underlined text written here as Apply in the same way as Portuguese students
1:47
We will now be redirected to their Graduate Courses application page. The first thing we should see are the application phases which are scheduled dates when the
1:56
applications are accepted. So be sure to look at these. Next scroll down to find their admissions requirements
2:05
If you scroll down far enough, you should find the section Required Documents
2:12
Listed here are the documents you should prepare for the application. The first is an ID or Citizen Card
2:19
Since we assume you are an international applicant, you may also use other identification documents
2:25
that indicate your nationality as stated in the text here. The second requirement is your qualification certificate or simply proof of admission
2:36
The third requirement is long but it simply means you should have a completed bachelor's
2:41
degree program or have gotten permission from your country of origin to study in a
2:46
higher education institute. The fourth requirement is your diploma or certificate of courses taken prior
2:55
The last text here isn't actually a requirement but rather an encouragement to provide other
3:01
documents that can have additional curricular merit. Furthermore, the block of text below is also important
3:09
It states here that all of your documents should be authenticated by an official authority
3:14
from your home country and recognized by the necessary Portuguese authority to be accepted
3:20
Otherwise, you might not be accepted in the university. Simply put, make sure to translate all the documents you have
3:30
And that's it for the requirements. You can still scroll down to find more information such as the tuition fee cost, academic calendar
3:39
and application periods. And there you have it. That's how you apply for a postgraduate degree in the University of Aveiro
3:49
