0:00
hi everyone it's global scholarships and
0:01
I'm your host AZ i hope you're all doing
0:03
well i hope everything is going great
0:05
and today we'll see the application
0:06
procedure of the University of Pedua in
0:09
Italy so uh as always you can just start
0:12
by googling the name of the university
0:14
or do what I do and go to globalcols.com
0:17
which is our free platform with a ton of
0:19
information and type in Pedua and in
0:22
institutions we have University of Pedua
0:25
as you can see Italy population we have
0:27
a lot of information here uh and one
0:29
great thing about this is that Pedoa
0:32
right now has one of the best
0:34
scholarships that you'll find anywhere
0:36
in Europe uh Pedro International
0:38
Excellence Scholarship uh which covers
0:40
uh your entire tuition fees which is not
0:42
already not that high uh but also gives
0:45
you a stipent of 8,000 per academic year
0:48
uh this is open for application uh one
0:51
thing to keep in mind that this is only
0:52
for English taught program so today
0:55
we're going to apply to a an English
0:58
taught program uh but there is just only
1:00
one English taught program that is open
1:02
right now but if you're um applying to
1:06
like Italian programs or applying in
1:09
another application period right now not
1:12
like when I upload this uh then you can
1:14
still apply there are a lot of other
1:16
programs English taught programs uh to
1:18
be able to apply to this university
1:20
anyway uh here we go to admissions pages
1:23
here and click on bachelors here we have
1:26
a lot of information um about the
1:28
application procedure like apply for
1:30
full degree program uh for bachelors to
1:32
be eligible for admission to a
1:33
bachelor's degree or a single cycle
1:35
degree you need a minimum 12ear school
1:38
record uh you can get more information
1:40
about your qualifications obviously it
1:42
kind of depends on your specific
1:44
situation uh foreign entry
1:45
qualifications uh you can click here and
1:48
they have a list like for every country
1:51
uh it's here you can see it here uh for
1:54
example I'm from Turkey so I can just
1:57
scroll down here's Turkey uh you must
2:00
have one of the following uh which is a
2:04
basically a just a high school diploma
2:06
and a proof that you have taken the exam
2:09
like university exam in Turkey and then
2:12
have a minimum GPA of three uh 2.6 seven
2:15
out of four basically you have to have
2:16
at least 12 years of schooling if you do
2:19
not have that you have to go through
2:21
another like one or two years of
2:24
additional education post-secary
2:26
education or attended like one or two
2:28
years of academic studies past all
2:30
schedules blah blah blah uh after that
2:32
you can if you want to study in English
2:34
you can click here to apply to like
2:36
start application procedure we have all
2:38
degree programs we have medicine again
2:41
you can get information about your EU
2:43
non-EU uh citizenships different calls
2:46
have different uh codas for different
2:49
qualifications for example there will be
2:52
sometimes that European Union like EU
2:54
citizens can apply to a program but
2:56
non-EU citizens cannot like they have
2:58
different codas keep that in mind we
3:00
have step-by-step procedure here um as
3:03
you can see uh choose your degree
3:05
program and carefully check its inter
3:07
requirements prepare all your documents
3:09
register apply here this is their portal
3:11
basically uh let's say Turkey let's say
3:14
sign in and here we obviously click on
3:16
I'm a new applicant and then we give
3:18
them our email i'm going to use a
3:20
temporary email right now so they gave
3:21
us uh us they gave us a pin uh we have
3:24
to like keep this recorded somewhere and
3:27
then they've also sent us an email i'm
3:29
going to check that so I click the link
3:31
that they sent me in the email so now
3:34
I'm going to type in my full name and
3:36
choose a password and click on
3:38
register okay we have our information
3:41
here our email let's like we can give
3:44
them a mobile phone i'm not going to do
3:46
that here uh let's check these okay like
3:49
of course you really need to read all of
3:51
this like uh terms and conditions and
3:54
then let's click on continue right so
3:56
here uh we have registered and as you
3:59
can see here is here they have uh what
4:02
do you want to study uh you can choose
4:03
like bachelor's degree let's say for
4:05
example now there are different programs
4:08
this uh shows you Italian and English
4:10
and combined programs for bachelors of
4:13
course you can choose for example let's
4:15
say just English programs for bachelor's
4:18
degrees one thing one other thing if you
4:21
uh choose only show programs I can apply
4:24
to as you can see there's just one right
4:26
now in English for bachelors that I can
4:30
apply uh because uh There are other
4:33
programs as well but they're not open
4:35
for application for non-EU citizens all
4:38
right so you can just click on here and
4:40
it knows that I'm from Turkey so it
4:42
tells me that there's just one program
4:44
that you can apply to um which is Earth
4:46
and Climate Dynamics but if you're
4:48
applying to an Italian program a
4:50
master's degree program or if you're
4:52
applying at another during another
4:54
application period uh you should be able
4:55
to apply to other programs for now we're
4:58
going to choose these this one and click
5:00
on apply now okay okay now we have our
5:04
priorities and this is our program and
5:07
then we're going to go to profile as you
5:09
can see we have a lot of information
5:11
here that we need to give the university
5:13
which is why if you click on submit
5:15
right now uh it'll tell you uh that you
5:17
have a lot of stuff to take care of
5:20
first uh so I'm going to give them some
5:22
information right now obviously it will
5:23
be fake information uh but in the end
5:26
I'm not going to submit the application
5:28
so it doesn't really matter okay I gave
5:29
them some information like some random
5:31
information like passport number issue
5:33
date expired date gender citizenship
5:36
country of issue um date of birth
5:39
country of birth and place of birth mark
5:41
the correct answer that applies to you i
5:43
am a non-EU citizen residing outside
5:45
Italy thus I do not have a valid Italian
5:48
residence permit and then I gave them a
5:50
photo don't worry this is not a photo of
5:51
a real person this is literally what was
5:54
it was the website this is not a real
5:56
person or something like that so it's
5:58
like an AI made photo and in the end and
6:01
I'm not going to send them uh the
6:02
application anyway so if I click here
6:04
submit as you can see there is there are
6:06
no uh like there are no notifications
6:08
here so this like profile part is done
6:11
let's go to contacts and I'm going to
6:13
give them my contact information okay I
6:15
gave them uh some random contact
6:18
information of course always uh read all
6:20
of these uh basically they'll give you a
6:23
lot of information on how to correctly
6:25
enter your information uh so I'm going
6:28
to click on submit here again contact uh
6:31
part is done so let's go to education
6:33
yes so there is a lot of stuff here uh
6:36
I'm just going to give them just like
6:38
high school which is secondary school
6:40
diploma okay so I gave them some random
6:42
information about my secondary school
6:44
diploma like a non-existent uh high
6:47
school in the city I live in uh like
6:50
expected graduation award qualification
6:53
degree uh diploma issue date uh country
6:56
nominal length of program obviously four
6:59
year high school and then select your
7:01
entry qualification country uh which is
7:04
Turkey of course uh you pick the country
7:07
you're from and then when I click on
7:09
submit uh it'll show you the education
7:11
part is done so let's go to languages of
7:13
course let's choose our native language
7:15
which is Turkish uh and then I'm going
7:17
to add another one because I need to
7:20
have at least um I think it was 80 85 in
7:23
total or something like that I have to
7:25
have some English like proof of
7:27
proficiency in English because I'm
7:29
applying for a for an English university
7:31
which all of that by the way you can uh
7:33
see here for example timeline required
7:36
documents uh useful information blah
7:39
blah blah how to we also have the how to
7:41
pay the application fee here basically
7:44
so yeah um I'm going to say English
7:47
proof of certificate I'm going to say
7:51
tuffle and let's choose B2 let's
7:56
85 and date it doesn't matter really
8:00
good language part is done in the other
8:02
section okay we have documents uh we did
8:05
not upload them yet we're going to do
8:08
them in the checklist section here um as
8:11
you can see it'll make us uh upload all
8:13
the documents that we need to and in the
8:15
other section you can give your medical
8:17
info additional request and information
8:19
source i'm just going to say let's say
8:22
friend or family and then let's do that
8:26
um special needs you can choose one um
8:30
how will you finance your studies at the
8:32
University of Pedua do not choose
8:34
scholarship if you want to apply for the
8:36
scholarship basically also you don't
8:38
have to apply for that scholarship uh
8:40
the University of Pedua Excellence
8:42
Scholarship basically you apply to the
8:44
university and if you're eligible they
8:46
automatically consider you and we're
8:49
done here so let's click on submit and
8:52
as you can see we just need to uh
8:54
complete the checklist which means
8:56
basically we're going to upload a lot of
8:58
uh documents uh you can read all of
9:00
these in very very like very much detail
9:04
basically resident per permit status so
9:06
we click on this uh we can a the first
9:11
we upload a document and then we choose
9:13
uh whatever we need to choose here
9:15
basically uh I am a non-EU citizen
9:18
residing in Italy and I have not
9:20
attached my Italian residence permit yet
9:22
uh I am an EU citizen or my country blah
9:25
blah blah uh this is us this is me and
9:29
it will probably be most of you i'm a
9:32
non-EU citizen uh residing outside Italy
9:35
thus I do not have a valid Italian
9:37
residence permit i choose this because
9:39
this means that I don't have to upload
9:41
anything because I don't have anything
9:43
to upload yet so when I choose this as
9:46
you can see it's a tick now so this is a
9:48
result upper sec secondary education
9:51
diploma basically I finished my upper
9:53
secondary education i'm preparing my
9:54
final diploma for submission i finished
9:57
blah blah blah or you can choose I
9:59
attached my upper secondary education
10:01
diploma if you choose that uh it won't
10:04
let you because I have not uploaded
10:06
anything yet so I'm going to upload a
10:07
random document right now now it lets me
10:10
choose I have attached my upper
10:11
secondary education diploma so now my
10:15
passport I've attached my valid passport
10:18
here my CV you can get more information
10:21
about all of these here like what exact
10:24
um criteria you have for any specific um
10:28
document you have to apply uh upload and
10:30
I have attached my
10:33
CV and then proof of English language
10:35
proficiency you can choose I have not
10:37
taken an English language test yet but
10:39
since I've put in some English
10:42
proficiency
10:43
I'm going to upload something as you can
10:45
see there are a lot of uh options here
10:47
like um I've taken one of English listed
10:51
in I'm waiting for the results i'm
10:53
applying only to master's degree i'm a
10:56
citizen of one of the countries listed
10:58
below so like if you're exempt one of
11:01
the English language certificate listed
11:03
uh blah blah blah as I'm applying for an
11:06
Italian tour to degree program uh stuff
11:08
like that so I do not need to take an
11:11
English test since I completed blah blah
11:13
blah blah so I'm going to choose this
11:14
one attach one of the English language
11:16
certificates listed in the UNIPD website
11:20
and that's done foundation course uh
11:23
this is if you haven't done like 12
11:26
years of education so I'm not going to
11:28
upload anything because I put in 12
11:30
years of education i completed an or am
11:33
going to complete my secondary studies
11:34
in a country where the education system
11:36
last at least 12 years so I'm going to
11:39
choose this and we're done inverse the
11:41
entrance examination uh again you can
11:44
get specific information about your
11:46
specific country here or the in the
11:48
guides that they've given us here
11:51
basically we have like a couple of uh
11:54
options here yeah okay this one I
11:56
attached the certificate proving that I
11:58
have successfully passed the university
11:59
entrance examination required to access
12:01
higher education in the country where I
12:03
completed my upper secondary education
12:06
i'm going to attach something here
12:08
transcript of records pretty
12:11
straightforward that's something you can
12:13
get from your school have attached
12:16
transcript here it is translation of
12:18
upper secondary again in English or
12:21
Italian based on your program or no I
12:24
think it's they accept either in both
12:27
cases i've attached the official
12:29
translation of my final diploma this is
12:31
which is something you can get from your
12:33
institution basically let's choose that
12:35
now we have TLC which is a which is like
12:39
a test that you can take online to be
12:41
able to apply to um Italian universities
12:44
we can get you can get more information
12:46
uh by clicking here and going to their
12:48
website so yeah only thing you need to
12:51
be really care careful about is the uh
12:53
taking the correct one correct um test
12:56
for example you have for for this to be
12:58
able to apply to an English program like
13:00
this for example you need to take uh
13:02
English TLC I believe so yeah uh you can
13:06
get more information here here by
13:08
clicking here a lot of uh like they give
13:11
a lot of links here so I'm going to
13:13
apply upload something i've done the
13:15
test and I'm attaching the results of
13:17
the test again you can do this online uh
13:21
test registration fee after paying the
13:23
test registration fee you can upload it
13:27
here legalization of upper secondary
13:29
education diploma you can read read here
13:33
to how to do that like a postal error
13:35
document i've actually legalization uh
13:38
from the Italian embassy attached blah
13:40
blah blah European balorate i've
13:42
obtained my upper secondary education
13:44
diploma in one of following countries
13:45
thus legal legalization is not needed
13:49
you can choose any one of these i'm I'm
13:50
just going to upload something here and
13:53
then for example uh choose this one i
13:55
have a postal my upper secondary
13:56
education diploma and then advancement
13:59
playment placement only in case you are
14:01
going to hold a United States high
14:03
school diploma please upload the
14:05
original highest resolution scan copy
14:07
blah blah blah i'm not from United
14:09
States okay so here I'm not holding or
14:12
going to hold a United States high
14:14
school diploma my upper secondary
14:16
education does not belong to the USA
14:18
education system i can choose that and
14:22
well we're done if I click right now uh
14:24
it will send my application submit my
14:27
application which obviously I do not
14:29
want to do that uh basically after that
14:32
uh you do that and then they uh review
14:35
your application they send you an email
14:37
about how to apply so I have to pay the
14:39
application fee which is about
14:41
€35 uh so you also have some like you
14:44
have to pay something similar uh for TLC
14:47
test uh so it comes something to like I
14:50
don't know 6070 uh euros which is
14:53
normally what would you have to pay uh
14:55
what you would have to pay to apply to a
14:57
university anyway uh but then that's it
14:59
uh your application is done and if you
15:02
are like this applying to an English
15:04
program uh during the application period
15:07
as a bachelor student or a master
15:09
student uh you will be considered for
15:13
this scholarship uh which covers your
15:15
tuition fees and gives you €8,000 per
15:18
academic year which is given to about 60
15:20
students uh which is very generous of
15:23
course and the tuition fee is already
15:26
not very uh high by the way we've made a
15:29
video about this scholarship as well
15:31
it's in our channel it should be up
15:33
check it out it should be uploaded uh
15:35
yesterday when you watch this and we
15:37
talked about University of Pedo and
15:39
studying in Italy in general a lot uh in
15:42
our on our live stream so if you have
15:44
any questions you can just leave them
15:46
here in the comment section or better
15:50

15:55

15:58
