all right there Hi everyone it's Global scholarships and I'm your host as I hope
0:07
you're all doing well everything seems to be working fine right now let me just do a
0:14
little right so oh
0:20
no all it's fine okay so um hi everyone
0:25
we are Global scholarships and I'm your host as we are here with another weekly live stream and I'm of course as always
0:31
here joined by Aman Hi aan how are you how's it going uh hi as uh I'm doing well thank
0:39
you uh how are you how have things been with you um I'm doing fine too thank you
0:44
very much so everyone if you're new here we are Global scholarships we are basically a platform that shares a lot
0:51
of um informative stuff about scholarships about studying abroad in general uh we have a YouTube channel we
0:57
have a Tik Tok account um we share a lot of information about like scholarships that might be open right now we'll see a
1:04
couple of those today um about like in general studying abroad studying in different countries and etc etc uh we
1:11
are making videos posting videos on both sides and of course we have a website
1:16
Global scholarships.com this is our uh website um so basically if you go to our
1:22
website right now global scholarships.com you will see we have a lot of inform information a lot of
1:28
guides here that can use that will be very useful for a lot of people who
1:33
wants to study um abroad as you can see we have like courses we have scholarships different types of
1:40
scholarships different uh scholarships from different countries and Etc we have a resources section um where we have
1:48
like things like admission results admission results scholarship stories uh
1:53
basically scholarship stories are uh stories of people who received certain scholarships and glob scholarships seek
2:01
out to those people and try to have them share their um stories with us let me
2:06
just show you actually how that works for example let's say Canada scholarships right uh and these are all
2:14
these are all uh people from Canada people from all around the world who have received Scholarships in Canada for
2:22
example can you can click on any one of them uh let's look at this person for
2:28
example University and the scholarship leer B Pearson scholarship which is a very good scholarship uh it's one of the
2:35
like most popular scholarships um in Canada because as you can see you can click here and go and see the university
2:42
it's a very comprehensive it's a full funding uh scholarship did I say universities it's a scholarship L there
2:48
be it covers tuition fees covers book and materials fees covers accommodation fees it covers a lot of things so um
2:56
this is like one of the best scholarships you could get in Canada and and they got that scholarship and they
3:01
share their Journey uh like how they got that scholarship uh information about
3:07
scholarship hang on let me see oh Zula um sorry about that I think I've seen
3:14
your question a little late because YouTube wasn't show me showing me the comment section Zula said I wanted for
3:23
bachelor degree please if you're asking about Lester bpon scholarship um yes
3:29
this is four Bachelors uh but that right now it's past its deadline so you would
3:35
have to wait uh for like I'm not sure if you can get that in next um semester I
3:43
think you can get it only in full um can you can you get this scholarship uh Aman
3:50
do you know is it like available in in Spring term um I believe it's just one
3:57
intake so it's given once a year not twice I see so yeah Zula if you are
4:04
interested in this scholarship it will be open for application next year probably around the same time so yeah um
4:13
so they share their Journey uh the scholarship details education their educational background how did they
4:19
prepare to apply for the scholarship uh hi there K of course you're as always here uh happy to see
4:26
you uh yeah thank you very much for being here if if you have any other questions that might uh maybe follow-ups
4:32
from uh previous weeks sidart says is the btec in CS
4:39
taught entirely in English in U Tokyo okay that's that's a very specific
4:45
question Aman do you do you have any information about that not specifically but I think
4:54
um if you go to the programs page on their official website they will
5:00
uh State the the language of instruction there so if if they say it's English it will be entirely in English and if they
5:08
say it's only Japanese then that that would be the case
5:14
too yeah so we have undergraduate uh programs in
5:21
Japanese and the ones in English you were asking for yeah BTE
5:28
so you can look into these so there's uh you can hang on let me actually share the link with you admission page uh you
5:35
can look into Peak programs in English at Kata Kata I'm not sure how it's if
5:42
it's how it's pronounced so you can look into those programs right um so arush asks can I
5:51
get scholarship information for master's degree program so if there are any more
5:57
like specifics about like the type of scholarship type of program you're looking for uh like it
6:05
would be easier for us to say something but uh in general you can just go to Global scholarships.com on our Search
6:11
tool you can just hit enter uh you're very welcome s if you have any more further questions um
6:19
so yeah arish you can go to Global scholarships and after hitting enter on
6:25
our Search tool you can filter by degree and choose Masters and you can look into
6:30
these you can filter by location you can filter by scholarship type I'm not sure if you can still see this um scholarship
6:37
type scholarship deadline and subjects and nationalities but if you have like more
6:43
in mind right now like about maybe I want to study this specific program or
6:49
in this specific country we might be able to help you a little better um Cota asks I'm graduating November 26 with
6:56
Bachelor's in Information Technology Hors for NBA oh yeah yeah right you said NBA
7:03
I'm sorry sorry about that um aan do you have any specific uh advice you would get give
7:10
for NBA Masters or maybe like could they maybe
7:16
like you you would want to you would want them to give a little more information about like where they want
7:23
to study or something perhaps um MBA programs are are so
7:30
popular everywhere so most countries uh have great curricula in
7:37
general and that's that applies to most universities too it's one of the most assault after
7:44
programs I think if not the top one right
7:49
now um in terms of how many people want to pursue the program
7:56
so I'm not is the question specifically about scholarships or just the
8:02
degree yeah um if you're interested in scholarships you can again go to Global scholarships choose Master's uh for the
8:09
degree and then for subject you can check choose um your subject and you can look into the first
8:16
ones that uh our search results show you are the scholarships that specifically
8:21
mentions um business like or the sub subject you enter uh but again you will
8:27
find that subject offered by pretty much a lot of universities so um most
8:33
scholarships here would be available for MBA I would say okay sorry qua I have to
8:39
interrupt your question um I'm graduating November 26 with bachelors in
8:45
Information Technology honors 3.5 GPA any recommendations um Aman what would you
8:52
say there are November this November 26 by the way um congratulations on your
8:59
graduation uh already beforeand and with honors that's really good um 3.5 GPA is
9:06
good uh I would say uh so please suggest me any scholarship so feed bomb if you
9:13
have any more specific information you could give us like further information about yourself about what you want to do
9:19
uh maybe we can be a more helpful um so congratulations C on your graduation
9:26
Aman what would you say they are graduating with uh 3.5 GPA honors degree
9:32
in information technology um yes but I'm not quite sure what the
9:40
question is like recommendations in terms of what in general like pursuing a
9:46
masters in as far as scholarships the universities countries I'm not like the
9:53
question is still too vague yeah so um
10:00
okay um hi the live stream is in English I'm
10:05
sorry so um pit bomb says please assest me any scholarship my profile High
10:11
School um 79 ilts 7 bands work experienced digital marketing 2 years so
10:18
yeah they're asking for scholarship advice
10:29
the scholarship advice for uh the high school profile of 79% you
10:38
mean 79% and they yeah yeah yeah that's that's pretty much the information they
10:44
have digital marketing experience and I for two years and I has seven
10:49
bands um can you read the question by the way on YouTube um yes I can okay okay
11:00
uh so for this you just want to search for automatic Scholarships in the United
11:07
States or those offered in South Korea so um although the ones
11:15
in in the United States are more based on your ACT SAT uh exam scores so you might want to
11:22
sit for those since your high school uh GPA is low relatively low I would say so
11:30
I would say sit for the SAT act to get a good score and then apply for automatic
11:36
Scholarships in the United States alternatively I would suggest uh going
11:43
to South Korea where they offer scholarships based on your eyet score
11:49
alone so an eyet score of 6.5 would qualify you uh for a scholarship in many
11:57
universities so seven would be uh good as well so provided that you get admission and you meet the admission
12:04
requirements an is score of seven would most likely get you at least a full
12:09
tuition scholarship okay so um right Quant we we
12:16
are still um waiting for your um question like was it about scholarships
12:23
about in general um studying abroad so if you have any questions for me um like
12:31
I will be able maybe I can answer them answer it very slowly in a way that you could understand perhaps so yeah some
12:39
people might be wondering what is like full tuition or full funding basically we have three types of scholarships in
12:45
our database as you can see uh you can use them what is this live broadcast for it's for scholarships and studying
12:54
abroad we have we are platform Global scholarships you can see here we have a website we have a YouTube channel we
13:00
have a Tik Tok account where we share informative stuff about scholarships uh for international students of course and
13:07
studying abroad in general so there are three types of scholarships partial funding to full tuition and full funding
13:15
partial funding means it covers less than just a tuition fees uh it could be
13:20
a lumps some amount of money like the school might be saying will give you $10,000
13:25
$5,000 um uh you're very welcome uh Fe bomb if you have any questions in any
13:31
other way we can help you uh we'll do our do our best so or the school might
13:36
say um we'll give you for example we have like top topic um Scholarships in
13:42
Korea uh they basically say you have to go uh go and take this um Korean exam
13:50
and depending on your uh level depending on your test score will give you a
13:56
discount tuition discount like 50% discount 70% discount like those types
14:01
of tuition fee discounts are also partial funding so it covers less than just a tuition fees full tuition means
14:08
that it covers the entirety of tuition fees but it doesn't give you anything other than that uh you can see those
14:14
types of scholarships um I guess you could see like four Bachelors uh
14:20
especially in Australia in United States in Canada um so we have also full
14:26
funding full funding means it covers the tuition fees the entirety of the tuition fees and then it gives you something a
14:32
little bit more um it could be it could be stien it could be accommodation it
14:38
could be allowance it could be all of them there are some very uh comprehensive scholarships like like for
14:43
example um let's say Le Lester B pearon can we can I look for that
14:49
actually yeah here is it here it is so Lester B Pon for example this is a very comprehensive scholarship uh in Canada
14:57
obviously um these types of scholarships are more in demand so they are more uh
15:02
competitive like it covers 100% of tuition fees books and material fees
15:08
accommodation fees um usually a lot of government scholarships are also very comprehensive they're full funding uh
15:15
most of them they give you a lot of a lot of stuff and and also we have scholarships in China and Taiwan as well
15:23
uh they're also they have like different levels but like the highest levels
15:28
usually are uh which universities are included uh to this program um are you asking for
15:35
leester b
15:40
um if you can be a little more clear on that because uh this is for University of
15:48
Toronto or are you asking about the like the website the global scholarships uh
15:54
website because uh we have a lot of universities in our database you can just like um I
16:02
guess you can click here um no this won't give you all the universities yes you're asking there are
16:10
a lot of universities like basically it's a database for scholarships so um
16:15
in our database we have scholarships that are given by the universities so
16:21
for example uh you can choose let's say if you want to study in let's say Germany right you can choose sorry you
16:28
can choose Germany here and then there will be a lot of
16:33
universities in Germany I'm not sure like I don't think we have a database where or like a list of all the
16:40
universities but there do we have Aman I don't think we have like a like a list
16:46
that you could see all the universities that we have in our uh
16:53
website I believe you can it's uh global scholarships.com
17:00
institutions okay let's see that I think you would find them sorted by country too so it's not just
17:08
uh okay oh I did not know that
17:15
actually oh this is great H you could do this or you could like if you are more interested in uh scholarships you could
17:21
type like you could use our Search tool to find the scholarships but just in case maybe you're interested in looking
17:28
looking edit like this I'll just share the link for you okay um kindly suggest says sorry Fe
17:36
bomb says kind of suggest graduate opportunities for my Elder profile his
17:41
profile for my elder brother sorry his profile bachelors in cyber security
17:48
2.87 cgpa with onee experience in Nokia company um hi there Kik or tala um yeah
17:58
I'm from Turkey so um aan what could you suggest for uh the
18:06
brother Bachelor's in cyber security 287 cgpa and one year experience in
18:12
Nokia company I didn't even know Nokia company still is alive are
18:19
they yeah they are of course oh
18:24
yeah um but that uh cgpa is too low for any
18:32
kind of scholarships and even for many universities I think I
18:38
don't think that would Grant you admission uh at a master's level MH
18:48
so I don't have many suggestions when it comes to Master's opportunities with a
18:56
low GPA um yeah so I don't think we can really
19:03
help much as far as the study and ab is concerned right for bachelor students
19:11
generally I mean you can actually sit for standardized tests to improve your
19:19
chances of being accepted at the undergraduate sorry at The Graduate level so he can go for that
19:30
or maybe an idea could be like you could um your brother could do uh their
19:35
masters in oh telecommunication domain yeah uh they don't make phones I guess
19:41
um so maybe they could do their masters uh in the same country the country they
19:47
that they were in and tried like their best to um increase their GPA and then
19:53
three so 287 out of four yeah um I guess that
19:59
I guess aan got that so like maybe they could do Masters in the same country
20:04
without like trying to push their like for uh push their like for um studying
20:10
abroad and then like try to increase their like improve their uh C GPA and
20:15
then maybe um look for PhD opportunities uh abroad that might be I guess an
20:22
idea um right anyen like is there anything else
20:28
you would want to say about this um yeah so that's all so what you
20:34
said is perfectly fine too if the end goal is a PhD degree so you can do a
20:42
master's degree course yeah some people just don't want to do that it's too much
20:48
because it's just research it doesn't really there's not much return on
20:53
investment in general so people just want to start working after a master's
20:58
degree and some others uh who are passionate about their degree want to
21:04
finish their PHD but if he doesn't want to do that then yeah for it was a little
21:11
weird for me to assume that they want PhD because like that is that is a very big step for doing your Masters so sorry
21:18
yeah I I never assume that people want to do phds everyone I know just yeah
21:24
didn't want to do that um I'm doing my PhD and I don't even want to do my pH
21:30
I kind of understand so uh coak you need in China so you could go to like again
21:37
these are the ones for Bachelors in China so you could um you could um
21:43
filter for your nationality um but a lot of like you will see a lot of
21:48
scholarships don't really uh care about that so about like four of them six of
21:55
them uh just went away so these are the ones let me just share the link with you you can look into these if you're
22:02
interested and in China like China a lot of people don't really ask about China they're not really interested but it has
22:09
really good scholarship opportunities people usually go for places like for
22:15
example in Asia for places like Singapore um South Korea Japan uh those
22:21
places don't have that many more scholarship opportunities than China and
22:26
they're comparatively much much more expensive so uh I'm kind of glad that someone is looking for Scholarships in
22:32
China uh so yeah if you have any questions about any of any one of those
22:39
um just like um let us know also I like on our YouTube page YouTube channel I
22:46
think I have made a couple of tutorials for universities in China uh like application tutorials you might want to
22:53
look at those later okay so
22:59
we don't have any further questions at this point so let me just okay let me
23:06
just show you um a scholarship that for example we have picked for this week uh
23:12
one of the scholarships that are currently open for application so that you can see um hi there Mohammed uh I
23:20
hope you're doing well so hang on right
23:25
[Music] um why the we are like we share every Monday we share currently open
23:32
scholarships videos where we see yeah I do live in Turkey uh where we see like
23:38
five different scholarships that are currently open for application um I try to pick the best ones so yeah this is
23:45
for example for um Bachelors SFU undergraduate Scholars entrance SFU undergraduate Scholars
23:53
entrance scholarship at Simon Frasier University um this is a university in Canada you can get more information from
24:00
just like by clicking at the University's name and going to the P page we have for that University so
24:06
basically this is our page for the scholarship and this is our page for uh
24:12
the university right so we we have this summary here like a small summary uh
24:18
scholarship amount um scholarship type again full funding means it covers more than just tuition fees eligible
24:25
nationalities and eligible subjects all uh like they don't care but keep in mind
24:31
that eligible subjects like all subjects this is all subjects offered by the university like if your like if the
24:38
subject that you have in mind isn't offered by the university then obviously you cannot apply for that program apply
24:46
for this scholarship through that program so we have the additional like
24:51
application we have the admission deadlines for uh for the University and for the scholarship so
24:59
and you can get more information about the university now this is an interesting one right uh it's in Barnaby
25:05
Canada 35,000 students and it has it has
25:11
30 different scholarships how do you can deal with Turkish people I live here for
25:16
two years people so much um
25:22
so I'm not really I'm Turkish by the way um if that's like if you thought I was
25:28
from another country um thank you very much V bomb if you have like if we have helped you just
25:35
a tiny bit uh we are happy um I'm from Turkey I'm Turkish I'm not like again
25:43
still like dealing with Turkish people is too much but uh I don't think I will be able to say a lot about that in here
25:51
any suggestions for the second stage of the open doors Russian scholarship um I
25:57
don't know much about that scholarship um Aman there's a very specific
26:03
question open doors Russian scholarship yeah me neither
26:08
because uh studying in Russia has been like yeah quite challenging since
26:16
the war started so not many International students want to go to Russia for
26:23
obvious reasons so that there's there are safety concerns like some people
26:28
uh wonder if they'll be able to go back home in case something happens so I
26:34
haven't been really up to date on matters in Russia although I met with
26:42
uh Russian universities that are still interested in uh International students but they're
26:50
only interested in students from Africa and the Middle East and that's their
26:55
main market right now so they're now looking for international students from anywhere
27:00
else all right thank you very much so Simmons scholarship isn't for women I'm
27:06
not sure what made you say that um fitbomb can you point out to
27:13
whatever made you think that it's just for uh male students I don't think I've seen anything that says that
27:20
um so um you so much yeah we are we are
27:26
quite a lot uh to handle I would say um do do you know ID University is it good
27:33
or what um I don't have that much information about how good which
27:40
university is um Idan University if you mean isul ID University um it's good
27:48
like there are a couple of programs that are really good uh but in general I don't think that's one of the best
27:53
universities uh in Turkey so yeah there are a couple of very good programs a
27:59
couple of very good faculties I would like if you want to study there I would look into uh the professors some because
28:06
it's not very homogeneous the quality of Education in some universities in Turkey
28:11
which country do you think has the greatest opportunities for international students to study abroad asks Lynn and
28:17
then says which country do okay it's the same question um so I would say if you
28:22
are looking for um scholarship opportunities um that would be the United States
28:28
States uh because like let's see did you say Bachelors no um so let's
28:36
type in United States um it has the most
28:42
scholarships again like it's pretty much the half of all the scholarships that we have in our
28:48
database sorry and if you want to study in Asia I think like PE places like
28:55
China has a lot a lot of scholarship opportuni as well um but keep in mind that United States of course um attracts
29:03
a lot of uh foreign students so pretty much sorry pretty much everything that
29:09
you will applying for you will be applying for will be very competitive uh
29:14
but I guess like it if you're looking for scholarship opportunities United States would be your best bet because in
29:20
Europe for example a lot of people want to study in Europe and like yeah so if
29:26
you want to study in Europe I could say there are not that many scholarships uh but also uh as an upside
29:35
uh the tuition fees are not extremely high for example um let's see let's see
29:41
one American University let's say nor of Alabama uh actually nor of Alabama is
29:47
not very is not a very good um example okay it's no it's actually kind of okay
29:53
so it's about $30,000 uh tuition fees right and this would be like the lower
29:58
end of uh tuition fees um in general for United States expensive a lot of people
30:05
a lot of things are very expensive but they have also they also have a lot of scholarship opportunities when you look
30:11
at at something like uh let's say for example Germany right Germany um does
30:16
not charge tuition fees German universities uh as you can see all of these are like free tuition and even if
30:22
you want to go to Italy perhaps right um let's look at the let's
30:29
say politic University of Milan right uh so the scholarships are usually in
30:35
Europe not that high about like 2,000 right but then
30:41
they also don't have that many scholarship opportunities as well you will not be finding like full funding
30:48
scholarships you do not know German well um there are programs there are
30:53
universities that offer um English programs I think
30:58
do I need to know German well if you want to study in Germany you don't have to I guess um there are programs that
31:07
are offering education in like completely in English but like it will
31:12
be quite difficult without knowing German uh I would say especially if you
31:18
so you won't have to pay tuition fees but you will still have to um pay for a
31:23
lot of things it could be about like 800 900 per month and and if you are looking for uh if you there are scholarships for
31:31
example there are government scholarships if you try to get that scholarship or if you are like if you're
31:37
planning to go and find a part-time job it will be incredibly difficult to do uh
31:43
without knowing a good amount of German I would say I mean that would be that
31:48
would that's my opinion so yeah if you want to study in Europe there are not that many scholarships but um tuitions
31:56
are way more um affordable compared to United States you don't have like in a
32:02
lot of countries you don't have to learn uh the language there are some programs that offer education in English but it
32:09
will be very difficult to go and live in that country for four years and do
32:15
academically do well uh without learning that language that's my take Aman do you want to say anything uh like maybe you
32:23
want to correct me about something or maybe there's something you want to add
32:28
no I think you're completely right um we have published a a story like in the uh
32:37
scholarship reian story of someone who uh studied in Germany pre- tuition
32:44
without any scholarships and I think they made the same point that although
32:50
they themselves Didn't Know Much German it didn't present much difficulty as far
32:55
as their degree is concerned because it was in English English but when it came to
33:01
um work opportunities uh I I think yeah it's the one without a picture so it's
33:07
the one yeah
33:12
yeah um yeah so they said that most work opportunities require Proficiency in
33:20
German and now they're in their second year so the first year that there was a language program that they rolled into
33:28
and they're getting much better at uh German right now so they can hold a
33:33
conversation uh a year into the program right so yeah I mean that's I remember
33:40
um I get it at the end of the day I have to learn languages other than English I would guess so um and
33:49
like German is the kind of a difficult language to learn um but like you will
33:55
get like you will have a lot of lot more um opportunities like both social and um
34:02
academic and like in business so and it will be like I think learning language
34:10
like German maybe if you want to study in France I think those are very very very good Investments for your future
34:17
even my English is not that good so a little bit worried um so yeah usually
34:22
okay uh let me put it this way I have
34:27
read a lot of um scholarship stories um that we have from Japan and Korea and
34:35
usually they were like emphasizing how important it is to learn the language
34:40
like learn Japan start learning Japan as soon as you can start sort of learning Korean as soon as you can but when it
34:46
comes to like places like United States um or like United Kingdom scholar
34:52
scholarship recipients make that point less because usually a lot of people
34:58
already learn some level of English um without even like without even wanting
35:05
to go to United States or United Kingdom uh so I'm trying to say like if you
35:11
actually put your mind into learning a language for a specific task uh you
35:16
learn it much much much faster than just learning English by you know uh hearing
35:22
it seeing it around so like um I I wouldn't worry I wouldn't worry about
35:27
but like your English not being as good as you want uh because like when you start actually studying a language you
35:35
learn it much much much faster than that and again I think it's always a very
35:41
good uh investment to learn another language especially like if you want to go and study and live maybe in Germany
35:49
or any other country right and also going there and trying to speak German
35:57
um um is a really amazing way to learn the language like I have a couple of
36:03
friends who went to study and then start working and living in Germany um none of
36:10
them have great skills in English like none of them had very good test
36:17
scores or something or got like courses in English or anything but they put
36:23
their mind into learning German uh they really put a lot of effort and then they
36:29
learned it and now they work uh in Germany they live in Germany they're just there so yeah it's it's a
36:36
completely different process in my
36:41
opinion um Aman do you want to add anything to that um no I think that this is all for
36:49
me as well all right so what was I doing yeah um hang on let's just go back
36:58
20 times so we can see yeah this scholarship we're seeing this scholarship okay
37:04
so um yeah hang on this Simon frer univers
37:09
right they have 30 different scholarships so when you go to our
37:15
website and see a University's page you can just click on scholarships to go
37:21
straight down to scholarship section and okay out of that did did I read that
37:28
right okay so 30 now um SCH universities in Canada H they have a lot of
37:33
scholarships they tend to have a lot of scholarships uh but that's because their education is also kind of expensive so
37:41
the tuition fees these are Canadian dollars but we also have United States dollars here about
37:47
2030 um usually tuition fees in Canada don't go up as high as uh the ones in the United
37:55
States but they're still very high it will be unaffordable for a lot of people
38:01
so this University for example charges about $20,000 and they just have one
38:08
scholarship for undergraduates and then they have all these 29 scholarships for graduate
38:16
students this is undergraduate this is the one we are talking about it's a full it's full funding um and then we have these some
38:24
of them are partial as you can see it's just 25 Canadian dollars and that's it um and then we have like this partial a
38:33
lot of partial scholarships yeah so this is the University um and you can get more
38:40
information about the scholarship usually they have like different levels different types of scholarships within
38:46
the scholarships for example we have the eligibility criteria incoming International students enrolling for the
38:53
full term blah blah blah you can read all of these and and you can see the
38:58
application process and you can ask questions now we
39:04
have a comment section and I have to say this might be the best opportunity
39:10
Global scholarships offers to a lot of people basically you can just leave your
39:16
questions I live in turkey and I am high school student would you recommend me to take
39:22
sat or Y KS
39:28
um so yks is um like
39:35
Turkish exam for uh high education right that's what you mean obviously that would depend on your
39:42
plans for the future if you want to study in Turkey your bachelor's degree
39:48
like get your bachelor's degree in Turkey uh you would have to you cannot go go and take sat and then use that to
39:55
uh you know study in it like apply to a university in united in Turkey now um
40:01
sat obviously will help you uh applying to universities um in the United States
40:09
why can't I don't believe like local or national National um tests have anything
40:15
to do with you being uh accepted admitted to the university I think aan
40:20
said they can be effective like they can't have an effect on uh getting a
40:25
scholarship perhaps like they the like the university might consider that but I don't think it is considered in terms of
40:33
uh admission to the university um Aman am I right about
40:38
that um yeah most universities right now are either just
40:44
optional yeah so they're test optional basically MH or test blind I think um
40:51
which means that the these tests are not no longer part of the admission but
40:57
they're automatic scholarships that are offered based on your sat or ACT score so they're always good for
41:05
scholarships um and there are many many scholarships that are offered uh that
41:10
are automatically uh awarded at the time of admission based on your GPA your sat
41:17
and your act either or so I also remember you saying something about like
41:23
your local um National test might have like might affect whether you
41:30
get a scholarship or not like they like the scholarship committee might consider that you have like a high test score on
41:36
your own National test um I think you said something about that maybe I might
41:42
I might be remembering it wrong um there are some countries where
41:48
there is um a national test that is
41:53
standardized for everyone so that that's basically what you need to take in order to go from high school
42:00
to University even at in your own country so that's the one they would consider yeah yeah this I think there
42:06
was there was a question about that yeah so I think uh they asked what would happen if they didn't
42:14
take that exam or something so they they had no option but to take that exam I
42:20
see okay [Music] um right so again Lynn it's kind of it
42:27
kind of depends um like if you want to uh study in the United States sat again
42:35
could be very important for looking for scholarships YK is mandatory if you want
42:42
to study High uh study like at the University in Turkey um but like if you
42:48
just want to go for I would still take y k because like um why
42:55
not uh like it is like it will pretty much the same subjects not same but like
43:02
very similar subjects to sat so like why wouldn't you take that uh so you can apply to Turkish universities as well
43:10
you can still go and study in American universities if you want so yeah but if
43:17
you want to um focus on specifically one of those um sat might be only um
43:28
logical if you just want to study in the United States I believe so
43:33
yeah um yes I as I was saying so we have a comment section here right and Y le as
43:41
you can see he answers all the questions that are left here by Anonymous or not
43:48
Anonymous people and he is the founder of global scholarships and he answers
43:55
all the questions uh in our comment section so like if if I had a
44:00
scholarships I have a question for this for these scholarships um I would put my
44:05
question here so yeah that's that's a further uh
44:12
place where you can get specific very specific information as well and if you
44:18
get if you want to get more information about this specific scholarship you can also click here on official scholarship
44:25
page to go and see uh uh the scholarship directly from the
44:30
University for example this is their page not as well designed as ours but
44:37
still yeah it's not that there's not that much of a of an
44:43
information high school student transfer students I guess we can click on this
44:49
one I want to study international relations so I think it would be better to take two of them as you said yeah um
44:57
I think what I would do if you want to study United study international
45:03
relations because that's what I studied and I've seen a lot of people around me I studied in a university which is not
45:10
the greatest University uh but one of the uh better universities in Turkey so
45:17
what I would do is I would um focus on yks uh for the national exam and try to
45:24
get a really good grade so I can do my bachelor's degree in a very good
45:29
University because um again a university is not one of the like maybe top five
45:35
universities in Turkey but even as I studied there I had so much opportunity
45:42
to go and have like International connections to go and see uh like other
45:47
countries or studying like doing my masters abroad so like there was there was so much um opportunities I would say
45:56
like if if you get some of the best schools in Turkey in terms of international relations let's say maybe
46:03
bichi or something um you would have much much much much better again that
46:09
kind of depends I kind of assume you want to do Masters but maybe you don't
46:15
but again like I think your that's what I would do that's I guess that's the all
46:23
that's all I can say so yeah I mean I wouldn't say that if you
46:29
wanted to study something that doesn't have any International connections but the program already forces you to have
46:36
those so yeah I met so many uh people from other countries um during my
46:42
studies so and it was just bachelors's anyway so yeah this is how our website
46:49
works you have um Pages for scholarships you have Pages for um
46:55
universities so like this is for example um again universities in hang on let's
47:01
see universities in Canada they offer a lot of scholarships because
47:06
um because the uh the education is also quite
47:12
expensive yeah so this is the university for example if you want to study in Canada it is like it has lately become
47:22
way more difficult to study in Canada as an international student
47:28
but still like if you're interested this might be interesting for you so yeah that's that's pretty much it
47:35
I don't see any other questions so um for anyone
47:40
watching if you have any further questions ask them now um otherwise
47:46
we'll kind of end the live stream here um we have seen a couple of
47:51
scholarships in general um like this is more of a Q&A uh live
47:58
stream feed bomb we still didn't get why you thought Simon scholarship is
48:04
for um male students only I I'm gen genuinely curious about
48:13
that did I say something I don't know like maybe call it freshman or something
48:20
because that's not what it means um pleas
48:28
same scholarship anyway so hang on let me
48:38
actually see that's SC yeah well there's nothing that says it's just for man okay
48:45
I don't see any any other questions so we'll be ending our live stream here uh thank you very much everyone for joining
48:52
in today and your questions if you have further questions uh you can again you
48:59
can uh leave them in our comment section on global scholarships.com uh or our
49:05
comment section on YouTube or you can of course uh always come to our live streams which are um on Fridays at the
49:13
same hour uh we are here every week other than that um if you're watching this on
49:19
VOD thank you very much for watching and that's kind of pretty much it for today
49:24
uh Aman thank you for joining me here here for this live stream thank you for having me
49:31
as okay then everybody and take care and see you next week bye
