'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' Main Theme - Ennio Morricone | Classic FM

'Wha wha whaaa!' Ennio Morricone's main theme to the spaghetti western epic, 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly', is performed here by Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Anthony Gabriele. The score, which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame also includes the legendary 'Ecstasy of Gold', and features some of Morricone's more eclectic orchestration choices - the distinctive two-note 'coyote howl' being depicted most notably by the flute, and of course, the human voice. The piece was performed as part of Classic FM Live at the Movies with Viking at the Royal Albert Hall, and was filmed for Sky Arts.
