With breathtaking landscapes, Sapa and Ta Van have been attracting trekkers for more than 30 years. It’s a must-do experience in Ta Van! Ever wondered how winter trekking in Ta Van, Vietnam looks like? πŸ‡»πŸ‡³ Enjoy the incredible views of the mountainous areas of Ta Van and most important... don't let the winter fool you, Ta Van is definitely worth visiting! Daphne from @girlswanderlust did a trekking in Ta Van, Vietnam πŸ‡»πŸ‡³. Via small mountain paths and through rice fields 🌾, she descended into a deep valley and walked through a bamboo forest. She stopped at a waterfall and crossed the Ta Van river to enter the Hau Thao village. Together with her guide she prepared some local dishes πŸ› and had lunch in front of the cozy fireplace πŸ”₯. Then she continued the hike through spectacular paddies, across vegetable gardens, πŸ₯¬ and over small mountain paths back to Ta Van. Along the way she met friendly locals and saw several animals like buffalos πŸƒ, ducks πŸ¦†, and pigs πŸ–. I’m Daphne, a creative from The Netherlands that runs a β€˜travel content creation’ company named Girlswanderlust πŸ‘©πŸΌ. I created Girlswanderlust on Instagram and Facebook in 2015 together with my friend Tamara πŸ‘©β€πŸ¦°. We also started the blog where we post weekly. We combine traveling with our fulltime jobs. For 7 years we combined our worldly experiences and photography skills πŸ“Έ to curate articles about unique destinations 🌴, hotel reviews, 🏨 backpacking πŸŽ’, and more. Girlswanderlust has advice for all aspects of a trip, from the preparation stage to after one has returned home. As of August 2022, I run the company alone and set myself the goal to capture the world in a way so that I can see more than only my nine to five job. I quit my job (which I loved immensely) and now work full-time on Girlswanderlust, something I enjoy doing every day πŸ˜ƒ. I utilize my first-hand experience to answer any questions that you may have about international travel. My perspective offered is especially useful for women considering travel, as my advice is centered towards a female readership. Website: https://girlswanderlust.com
