iRobot Expands Beyond Robot Vacuums with Roomba Electro Plus and a Smarter New Generation of Roomba Robots

After a major turnaround, iRobot announced an expanded floor-care lineup with six products and an all-in-one home ecosystem. The Roomba Electro Plus and five redesigned Roombas add improved navigation, stronger suction, AI obstacle avoidance, self-maintaining docks, and slimmer designs. The iRobot Roomba Electro Plus is a cordless cleaner that vacuums, mops, disinfects, and self-dries using electrolyzed tap water. iRobot cites 99.99% sanitation efficacy without chemicals, priced at $399.99. The Roomba Max 775 Combo offers simultaneous vacuuming and mopping, AI navigation, pet waste avoidance, and an AutoWash Dock with up to three months of maintenance. The Roomba Max 715 is vacuum-only with an AutoEmpty Dock; the Plus 575 and Plus 515 emphasize compact designs, stronger suction, longer battery life, and AutoWash Docks.
