forward to this for a long time. I have always been looking at these. These are

what's called a console vault. I got one sent over to me from console vault to be

able to take a look at. I'm really stoked. It's a 12 gauge steel vault and actually

inserts directly into your vehicle. I have a 2003 Dodge Ram and that's

actually what this one is built for. It actually sits underneath the seat. So

anyways I got this in. I've been keeping track of the tracking. I'm really really stoked to be able to open this up and show you guys. So first off

one thing I do notice on box is it does show their logo. I am a big proponent of

not showing logos on packaging so I won't give them too much of a discount

but that is one thing I wanted to just mention because a lot of people do look at that in packaging. So anyways let's go ahead and open it right up. The

shipping label did point this out as being about 12 pounds. It definitely

feels like 12 pounds and so let open it up if I can and see what inside all right so first thing I see in here is installation

manual. It looks like I have two bolts in here and I believe those are two bolt

directly into some factory bolts in my truck. I haven't actually looked at these instructions yet so this will be a holding process for me as well. I've

never installed one of these either so on my installation video this will be the first time I've ever done it. Anyway, so you have your instruction manual. I

I did get the four digit model. On these, sometimes you'll see where people will leave three of the digits on there as

being completed and you finally do the last one when they actually need into it for quick

access because it does take a little bit of time to get into these. But anyways, instruction manual, your bolts

Some come in pieces, some come as a complete unit. And so what you're seeing here today is for an 03 Dodge Ram

Alright so we have some bubble wrap Looks like it packaged pretty well And inside of this plastic bag

It does not look like there's anything else in there. There are some corner stops around it

so packaging is pretty good. It doesn't look like it should get too damaged

and then here is the console vault itself um it is all one complete unit for the dodge ram

um i do know based off some videos i've watched and pictures and stuff like that there are some

that are kind of like a modular design that are almost built into into the um into the the console

so anyways so this is actually a complete unit i think i mentioned it earlier these are 12 gauge

steel which is pretty dang good for these considering like a browner sport

browning sporter series is gonna be having the same style steel so like

that's the full-size gun safe browning sporter and so this has that same

thickness of steel as you would see in the large gun safe so this is the four

digit I don know if you can see that it automatically comes with zero zero zero zero as your combo and so and then what you do is you just turn that and it spring loaded to open up and so it completely

I have a little kind of foam pad. So any kind of valuables, your pistol, anything like that
