We're here at the Haunted Objects Museum in Rotherham in South Yorkshire
0:04
It's filled with all sorts of memorabilia from potential hauntings that people have seen
0:11
And the building itself has reportedly been haunted as well. I'm joined by Lee and Sarah
0:19
A lot of people come to see a lot of objects here, but the main interest is Elizabeth
0:25
Lee and Sarah believe that she could be the most haunted doll in the UK
0:30
if not in the world. Lee, just tell us about Elizabeth. So Elizabeth was first purchased in
0:36
2017. I first saw her in a newspaper article and I thought, I'll put a bidding on this doll. It's
0:42
taking a risk but the risk kind of paid off because massive media friends, they followed
0:47
because of all the hauntings that are attached with the doll. She's meant to scratch people
0:53
give people nightmares. People have like a rose perfume smell around her. She's scratched so
0:59
many people over 30 today including family members Sarah and myself and people are just absolutely
1:07
fascinated with the door where people travel from all over the world just to be in the same room as
1:13
her and Sarah you believe that Elizabeth's got a close connection to you why is that and what's
1:21
the story behind Elizabeth the story is that many people think she is a jilted bride and that
1:29
She was obviously rejected and has a bit of an attachment to Lee
1:33
So it's that kind of through me, she is jealous, is what people say
1:40
And when I'm in rooms on my own, she will throw things around
1:44
and there will happen to be poltergeist activity. So it kind of when I on my own and to scare me So that what it seems to happen that the pattern and people might be thinking if this is what you believe
1:57
and if it's what you think you've seen why would you want something like that near you
2:03
Well as paranormal investigators we want to keep studying this doll, this phenomena
2:09
that's kind of what it's all about so we do understand that
2:15
but she's kept here, she's safe what do you think to that
2:19
Yeah, as investigators we want the worst to happen, we want to
2:23
capture it and we want to study it, we want to learn more about why
2:28
these paranormal phenomena are actually happening around haunted items, not just haunted items but
2:33
in general. And what would you say to people that are sceptical of all this
2:37
and just say it's a load of nonsense? I don't blame people
2:41
for thinking like that, it's always good to be sceptical, I'm actually sceptical
2:45
myself when it comes to haunted stuff or ghosts in general but you know people do have
2:52
sightings people do report things and there's too many people out there who actually see things and
2:59
experience things not everyone is lying in my opinion and what's next for elizabeth
3:05
to keep studying her to actually just keep allowing people to come to this museum
3:11
keep working with her, even ourselves. We want to keep understanding what she can do
3:18
why she's doing it, and try to replicate things, see if we can get it to happen on command and stuff like that
3:27
So who knows what's next, but people love her, movies, TVs, all sorts of things
3:34
People are truly fascinated, so the only person who knows is her
3:38
Thank you so much. Thank you, Lee and Sarah. So that's the take here from the Haunted Objects Museum here in Rotherham
