That's right, Martin. They've got their man. That's the line they're using after they shared an account of what happened before the arrest into custody of 22 year old Tyler Robinson with authorities releasing the mugshots you are seeing on your screen now
0:17
Now, in the detail we heard there from Spencer Cox, the governor of Utah, we heard how the suspect's family told investigators that Robinson had become more political in the years before the shooting
0:31
And one family member is said to have told the investigators about an incident in which this young man came to dinner and said that Charlie Kirk was coming to Utah Valley University and talked about why he didn't like Charlie Kirk and the viewpoints that he had
0:52
Now Robinson had told this family member we told by the authorities that Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate Now as further parts of the investigation a better sense that we getting of it now it understood that investigators interviewed one of Robinson roommates
1:13
who showed the messages between him and an account with the name Tyler on Discord
1:20
Now, for viewers and listeners who aren't aware, Discord is a messaging platform
1:25
social media site often used by young people, particularly young men and those who use gaming
1:32
platforms as well. Now, the messages from Tyler refer to the need to retrieve a rifle from a drop
1:39
point. And of course, earlier on before this press conference, we did hear about a rifle being left
1:44
at a drop point location in a wooded area, wrapped in a towel with a scope on it, a unique scope
1:50
among other elements. But it's a detail released by the governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, about those
1:57
engravings, Martin, that I think a lot of people were waiting for some information on. Now, the
2:02
inscriptions are quite strange And you could tell that Spencer Cox was in a way quite confused as he read them out One of the unfired casings said hey fascist catch And then the up arrow symbol
2:19
a right arrow symbol, and three down symbols. If people are confused about that, I certainly am
2:26
But looking at ysis online that's been shared by people who are sort of of a discord related background, saying that this could be a reference to a video game and the controls you put in before an action is launched on a video game
2:44
Although that's just speculation at this point. We also heard Spencer Cox say that on another one of the engravings, it was notices bulge
2:53
Oh, whoa. What's this? Now this is quite a well online meme where it a language typically used by gamers and online subcultures to troll or parody online subcultures and people who are involved in role games for example
3:17
Another unfired casing, and Spencer Cox didn't pick up on this, was Bella Ciao
3:22
Now, this is a very famous Italian anti-fascist resistance song from the Second World War
3:28
It's still sung by the Italian left to commemorate the end of fascism
3:33
And so when we heard those briefings yesterday about anti-fascist ideology, it's likely that this casing was at the top of that understanding
3:43
And also that reference, of course, hey, fascist, exclamation mark, catch, exclamation mark, which we believe is on the engraved onto the casing of a round that was fired
3:54
And also, one of the engravings on a casing written, we believe, by Tyler Robinson said, if you read this, you are gay. L-M-A-O
4:05
Now, Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old, is in Utah County Jail. This investigation continues and the director of the FBI, Kash Patel, said they will continue to chase every lead that they have
