0:04
all right hello everyone if you're joining the stream welcome to another
0:10
stream I haven't done this for probably a month and a half um just been busy with life and um hey Northern old bear
0:19
from Northern California boy yo hello yes my name is David I host this YouTube
0:26
channel called the freeze-dried business if you're new here welcome and uh I'm I live in Boise Idaho lived here my entire
0:32
life graduated from Boise State University they're doing really well in college football right now so there's a
0:38
lot of great Buzz around the city um I remember back when I graduated um and
0:45
this probably dates me a little bit but I graduated in 2008 uh from Boise State and right after
0:52
that was Kell Moore Kell Moore is the winningest FBS quarterback in history he
0:58
I think he only lost three games in his entire football career and so uh anyway
1:04
that was very exciting times they got up to ranked number three in the country um and uh anyway we haven't really had that
1:11
much success since then now success is relative to everyone right but um in
1:17
terms of that level we haven't really been ranked this High uh since then no doubt so anyway enough about that what
1:25
we're going to talk about today in today's stream which was in the thumbnail the and the title which is a
1:31
very strategic width is there's been some major announcements with two of the
1:38
major candy makers uh across the C country of the United States as well as the world and
1:44
if you haven't really check that out um those articles out they're actually in
1:49
the video description of this live stream so check those out and you can kind of follow along um hey what's
1:56
up white pepper Farms hello what's going on uh glad you joined
2:02
and uh hey if you haven't checked out his channel awesome you freeze drying Channel um good shout out there so what
2:08
we're going to talk about is the two major announcements I'll get to that shortly I do have kind of a a couple
2:13
other topics so I'm going to give you my thoughts on what the actual announcement was and U kind of my opinion on it just
2:21
because I've been in the freeze drying space and um I know that a lot of you guys um who pay attention to my videos
2:28
want to kind of hear what I'm thinking and then I'm also going to turn it on you as well uh for some Q&A we'll talk
2:34
about those articles and maybe just kind of brainstorm you know what are we supposed to do if we run a small
2:42
business um even a larger business what are we supposed to do when a huge candy maker like this gets into the freeze
2:48
drying space so we'll talk about that and then um I'm I'm gonna basically be live until about um for about another
2:56
hour and then we'll end the stream now what you can do is you can comment in
3:01
this video as well and I'll try to answer those in the reply and I'll also do some Q&A as well um secondly is um
3:10
I'm going to be announcing this is the official announcement I'm announcing memberships
3:16
for my channel now the reason I'm doing this is one I I there's a lot of replies
3:23
in my all my different videos that go unresponded to I know that's on me and I
3:29
know if you've probably put a comment in there you're probably um and it hasn't been replied to you're kind of like who
3:35
is this guy it doesn't it's very spontaneous it's random about what he replies what I'm going to include in the
3:41
perk for your support of this channel um and I'm gonna actually launch the
3:46
memberships at the end of this stream when you purchase the membership supporting this channel you're going to
3:53
get priority on replies for comments now I'm trying to work within probably maybe
3:59
a 24 to 48 hour period Max that I'm going to reply to members only uh
4:06
comments now what that's going to help you with is getting responses immediately um you know I'm not always
4:13
checking my email so if you email me which all my email and content information is in the Channel Bio um
4:19
this is going to be a great way for you to get in contact with me directly and know that you're paying for that that
4:25
immediate response so if you're watching this stream um or you're watching watching this afterwards go ahead and
4:32
check out the memberships uh in the bio again this will be launching in about an
4:37
hour okay and then um also I'm going to be talking about YouTube shorts I've got
4:43
a lot of shorts out there and I did a poll recently on the channel asking a
4:50
lot of you who are subscribers why you watch shorts especially from this channel it's clear to me that I need to
4:57
continue doing shorts but YouTube Just started a thre minute short option and
5:03
that means that I can provide a lot more content in a longer period of time in the shorts because you used to be 60
5:08
seconds and so I'm not as um ATT tuned to creating those 60c spots I want to
5:14
make sure the content that I'm I'm I'm producing is of good value for you so we're going to talk about that and I
5:19
want to hear directly from you so you're going to get a chance to tell me what you'd like to see in those shorts um
5:25
okay enough of my talking let's see let's get to some comments here just real quick
5:30
yeah hey Brandon uh yeah white pepper Farms awesome spent the last 15 minutes jumping in those articles awesome um
5:37
Libra hey medium Harvest Right Pro gets on Monday hope hope to get there soon awesome uh congratulations on getting
5:44
your first freeze dryer that's awesome um let's see just got my first freezer a couple weeks ago awesome old
5:51
bear thanks for joining um and U and again I'm checking all these different
5:57
uh chats as well so go ahead and leave leave a chat in this stream and uh Kevin
6:03
you're from boy Idaho welcome uh you are saying will you be coming out with recipes um yes I I am trying to come out
6:11
with more recipes I'm actually I I got done with the the video shoot um uh from
6:17
my kitchen uh actually using powderized fruit because I do a lot of fruit and
6:23
I've actually noticed a lot of from Brandon from white pepper Farms he does a lot of great recipes with powder
6:30
and so I wanted to do some things with some baking from some of my my mom's uh
6:35
recipes for baking so we'll be you'll be seeing those videos um if you if you
6:40
don't if you want to look at more recipes for freeze drying and just kind of wanting to know explore there is uh
6:47
Freez drying supplies.com that's the live life simple it's Brian's Channel he's actually got two volumes of
6:54
cookbooks for freeze drying it's called the freeze drying cookbook so go over to him
7:00
and he's got a lot of different recipes but I will be coming out with more content about that more people are
7:05
joining hey from Minnesota Nebraska awesome thanks for joining okay so let's
7:11
get into this um and then that way we can spend more time with your questions so if you've clicked on the articles
7:19
that Mars Wrigley came out with as well as Hershey they're in the video description um I'm going to switch to my
7:25
other tab so I can kind of read you just some Snippets of of the art article so I'm going to talk about Mars first so
7:32
this isn't probably very surprising for a lot of you um that Skittles was working on freeze drying their own
7:40
Skittles okay so Skittles is very popular it's a new take on the candies
7:46
we've uh we know that that sells really well some people are reporting that it's kind of on the down downward spiral not
7:54
spiral and that's that's a bad word it's just on the downward Trend in terms of it's not new anymore um that's a good
8:01
thing because consumers are used to the candy they're used to that texture and they're like oh I really like
8:06
freeze-dried Skittles over the chewy kind so that's good um but we knew that
8:12
Skittles and other candy manufacturers were we're taking notice of freeze drying in fact um if you're not a part
8:19
of my email list um go to freeze dry.com and I I have an EMA email community that
8:26
I'm trying to be act more active with emails about this and I announced these announcements through the email uh
8:31
earlier this week one of the things that I said in the email about Mars is that in 2020 when I
8:39
started my freeze drying business you know my my buddy and I that that we started this you know we we thought like
8:47
there there can't be there's there's clearly obvious that we're freeze drying as someone else's branded Cy like I'm
8:53
not making Skittles so at some point Mars was going to recognize either hey
9:00
we're going to let these people continue to freeze dry Skittles and we're going to reap the benefits of this huge demand
9:05
of our regular Skittles and make M of sales which they clearly are um or they're going to take another step and
9:12
they're going to add a skew and they're going to add freeze stred Skittles and the reason they would do that is because
9:17
they have a massive distribution Network they've got a lower cost of barrier to entry because they make the Skittles um
9:24
they can actually lower the cost of purchasing a freeze dried Skittle bag because they make the they make the damn
9:31
candy so they have a lot more power um but uh that doesn't mean that consumers
9:39
are going to receive those products well right so it's been almost 2019 I know
9:46
people have been freeze drying candy for prior to that but really the kind of the takeoff point was during the pandemic
9:53
and you know we've all kind of established a brand uh in our local area
9:59
are Regional National and a lot of people buy from us repeatedly are they
10:05
going to switch over to a national brand that sometimes doesn't align with align
10:11
with values sometimes doesn't uh promote small businesses it it you know squishes
10:17
the small person so um are are those consumers that are buying from you are they going to switch over to the
10:23
National brand um secondly is you probably noticed too there's a lot of
10:28
people that sell into Target already and to um Walmart things like that so what
10:34
are those big retail stores that are Global what are they gonna do are they gonna just say hey we're not going to
10:40
accept your product anymore we're going to go with Mars is Mars going to kind of you know twist their arm and and force
10:47
them to to to have only theirs uh in their stores we don't know that that's
10:53
kind of the the the unknowns about Mars releasing freeze-dried Skittles coming
10:59
up in early 2025 I think it's a good thing well let's let's continue so that's a little
11:04
bit of unknowns um a couple other things that I have noted is um you
11:10
know one is these are publicly traded companies so Mars Wrigley and I'll get
11:16
to Hershey in a second Mars is a publicly traded company and they are
11:22
concerned with profit if you're a stockholder of Mars you want that price to go up so if Mars is not making money
11:30
on this new skew for freeze-dried Skittles they will not discontinue it
11:36
but they are likely going to uh you know kind of get out of it in more of an aggressive way so they're probably going
11:42
to spend a year two years measuring what type of impact this is going to have on
11:47
their stock price um whether they're actually making money with it and then they'll probably decide okay are we
11:53
actually going to invest more in it or are we going to kind of let a co-packer do this for us and personally um my
12:00
thoughts is um I just I I'm skeptical to see to to know how the Market's going to
12:07
receive a larger brand coming out with this because millions of people have
12:13
eaten freeze-dried Skittles um from a lot of us we call it something different because of the trademark but a lot of
12:20
people have been purchasing it from us and so I think that they're going to have a hard time getting a lot of people
12:27
to just buy from them exclusively versus supporting the the brand and the fund
12:34
and the personality of your own business so I don't think that it's going to
12:39
squash a lot of our our our business um but it is something that we have to take notice of because we need to be uh
12:46
looking at this and preparing ourselves for uh a definitely large brand coming
12:52
into the market very quickly because uh they're already making this right they're going to launch it in 2025
12:59
I would expect Super Bowl ads I would expect NFL playoff type ads I'd expect a
13:04
lot of different activity marketing wise uh from these from Mars and other companies um so that's kind of my
13:12
opinion uh and I you know how are they bagging this how are they packaging the freeze-dried Skittles we know that
13:18
freeze dried candy is very delicate we don't know how it's going to be transported uh we don't we don't really
13:24
know what it looks like inside at least I don't um it'd be helpful if if you know and um you know does the quality
13:31
sustain itself while they distribute all this because I care about quality and you all know if you're new to freeze
13:38
drying or even if you're existing you know what a good quality freeze dried Skittle is and then what one that's not
13:44
and um and consumers know that so I I think they're going to have some some uh
13:50
some challenges there so that's the major news is Mars Wrigley let me get to
13:55
the other article which is about Hershey now Hershey owns the brand Jolly Rancher
14:02
and they are coming out with a Jolly Rancher freeze-dried product all the same flavors and they say here Hershey
14:10
Company is featuring product launches from Brands including Reese's Hershey's Jolly Ranchers blah blah blah um
14:17
scrolling down they said debuting in early 2025 are the company's first
14:24
freeze dried offering the Jolly Rancher freeze dried as a Le and this uh uh
14:30
individual Nick Hansen vice president of the retail uh for candy he says as a
14:35
leader in snacking Innovation we are committed to understanding responding to the needs of our consumers and retailers
14:41
to elevate Shoppers experience and fuel growth across every category through new Innovations and offering key Shopper
14:47
insights we're providing our consumers with more options catered to their preferences and helping our Retail
14:53
Partners Drive sales long story short hey they're coming out with freeze-dried
14:58
jell ranchers uh that was one of the first candies that I did um I've been kind of curious about what Jolly ran
15:05
Hershey's been doing because um I live in Idaho we have a wico which is a wholesale type of uh you know bulk uh
15:13
grocery store and you could buy Jolly Ranchers in bulk it was phenomenal all
15:18
that went away about a year and a half ago so I'm I was kind of curious like you know what was going on with that and
15:25
um it it makes sense that even Skittles you know you can't I I haven't been able to buy Skittles in the in the 50 ounce
15:32
tubs at or 54 ounce tubs at Costco for I would probably say almost six to seven
15:38
months so I would say these companies are reigning in the the bulk purchasing
15:45
options for you to buy their their product um and and so we're having to kind of scrape by to find the product
15:52
and so I think that was just a clear sign of them uh coming out with this product so they're both launching
15:59
Hershey and Mars is launching their both of their freeze-dried product in early 2025 those are the major announcements
16:06
and if you are looking at starting a freeze drying business these are things to note and if you're freaking out
16:13
you're like oh my God I just you know bought this freeze dryer why would I continue doing this um well it's because
16:20
these are global companies that are investing millions of dollars in a product that you want to start selling to um freeze drying um the freeze dried
16:29
process that allowed us to kind of see what happens to Candy through a vacuum and heat man like that's that's
16:36
completely going to be transforming this whole industry and these are only two candies we know that we have a lot of
16:42
different candies that we're freeze drying so it's an exciting time because um one this is going to bring a ton of
16:49
more awareness of people to the freeze-dried candy category and if you
16:55
are positioned well with your Cogen optimization your websites ranking on
17:01
Google if you are positioned well with social media with actively posting about your product if you are active with a
17:09
Blog talking about the benefits of freeze drying if you are active with your live streams whatever you're doing
17:16
if you're active all the way through this period where they're going to launch in early 2025 you will receive an
17:23
uptick in general awareness of your brand because people are going to be
17:28
searching for freeze dry drawler ranchers and you know what's going to come up first uh a lot of etsy ads a lot
17:36
of Amazon ads a lot of local businesses because Google is gonna take a long time
17:44
to crawl uh hershey.com you know freas dry Jolly Rancher that's going to take
17:50
some time I I I have a background of digital marketing that's going to take some time for Google to crawl that
17:57
National type of web website and then rank that above everybody else now Mars
18:02
Wrigley and Hershey will most likely be paying for that ranking uh that Google
18:08
has for Google AdWords and so they'll be paying for those but uh that doesn't
18:13
mean that they're going to get all the traffic it's just going to drive a ton of people to Google ton of people to Tik Tok ton of people to Instagram they're
18:20
all going to be searching for freeze dry Jolly Ranchers freeze dried something and um and that's where that's where a
18:26
lot of your awareness is going to come in I've talked a lot so I'm GNA pause real
18:32
quick and take a look at the chats feel free to give me your thoughts on this um
18:37
and and I'm going to go through some of these um it's helpful to for me to know what your thoughts are from these
18:43
articles if you weren't aware of these and also if you were what are you doing about it
18:49
um all right y you saying uh I've noticed that
18:55
the commercial freeze dad companies uh doesn't taste as good as a mom and pop that's yeah I hinted at that too that's
19:00
what I that's what I kind of figure um especially the freeze dried Jolly Rancher I don't know how they're going
19:07
to ship it uh it's a very delicate product in fact you know I
19:12
use uh craft uh shredded paper for a lot of my shipping in my boxes for online
19:19
orders and that's because I quickly found out that uh shipping a freeze-dried Jolly Rancher um shipping
19:27
things that are very delicate kit in just like a a a bubble wrap type of uh
19:33
package man like it just it just wasn't going to be efficient because the in
19:39
consumer would see that and they just see a bunch of dust and personally I've gone to I think I did a short where I
19:45
was at shields in Meridian Idaho and I saw the a bunch of freeze-dried products
19:52
and uh I'm not bashing any of those companies but if you take a look at that short uh especially the Jolly Ranchers
20:00
there was maybe like half of it was actually the Jolly Rancher that was popped and then the rest of it was all
20:06
dust uh at the bottom so it's just not I don't know I think everyone struggles
20:12
shipping that product so I'm curious how uh Hershey will do that all right uh Kevin says I go to a
20:20
lot of holiday bazars and what I'm noticing is that a lot of other vendors who have purchased a freear are now selling freear candy with their Booth
20:26
how do I stay competitive Kevin great question um yeah how do you stay competitive when people are you know uh
20:34
selling their woodworking stuff at a holiday bazaar and then they also have freeze-dried freeze-dried products um a
20:41
couple one is uh I I would make sure that when if when you're with your
20:47
vendor agreement like look at the vendor agreement and um most of the time I
20:53
found that those that those types of uh bazaars and things like that if they've been running cons consistently and they
20:59
have a lot of returning vendors they've had to keep those vendors happy so they're going to write their contract to
21:06
where it's like hey you can't sell something outside of your category things like that so I would just make
21:13
sure that when you're signing your contract if you've already got one signed look at it real quick look at the
21:20
writing and and just see if they've mention that you can only sell like one of your categories things like that so
21:26
if someone's woodworking if someone's food uh they can't sell something outside of that
21:32
category um also I would always check ahead of time with the the the organizer
21:40
hey how many are you allowing in this category there's a lot of people that freeze dry so I'm just wondering you know I I need to position my product um
21:47
for this event uh so that I'm I I have things that are unique um so what I've seen
21:53
that's happened here locally for me is um I've got a couple con assignment
21:58
stores here locally and they've added another freeze-dried company now I've
22:05
talked to them about this and they're like well we didn't know that you you could do freeze-dried um you know nerd
22:10
gummy clusters and I was like well yeah I can freeze dry anything what are you talking about and you know I didn't
22:16
really want to fight them on it and so you know they they basically had somebody come in and they they're like
22:22
oh I I recognize that freeze dry Depot has this product but I can do this and so some retail is going to be like no I
22:29
I only want one particular brand other people are going to say yeah I want more so you're going to have to kind of flow
22:35
with flow with it but on the vendor side for an event make sure you're checking the contract if you're signed it already
22:42
and then I would talk to the organizer and say hey I need to be able to create a unique product for people to buy from
22:48
me on top of maybe what the other vendor is selling um so you know either we got
22:54
to work in tandem or you know you may not may not have to return um hope that hope that
23:02
helps yeah says U Kevin when we sign up to the vendors we ask if there's another vendor yep um
23:10
so yeah bran at white pepper with a market that's become more it's a great idea to start creating your own version
23:15
of these candies yeah I agree uh yeah and i' I've made I've made
23:21
Skittles with the fruit powder so um you know chamoy Skittles like the little
23:28
chamoo uh or the tun seasoning stuff like that um all of this kind of brings with a lot
23:35
of competition for events as well as just now with these major companies
23:41
you've got to start maybe not you're not ready this year but starting in 2025
23:48
you've got to have a goal of creating something unique now it doesn't have to be a brand new Candy maybe it's just a
23:54
different flavor maybe you're trying to position yourself to be I'm going to be all about sour candies and that's all
24:01
I'm going to do that way when you're marketing and you're going to these shows you're just all doing sour type
24:07
candies so sour skittles you're doing you're making your own sour powder and now you're covering up uh you know a
24:14
freeze-dried strawberry with sour spring uh sour type of uh powder all that type
24:20
of stuff that's what maybe you could focus on um for me I do freeze-dried ice cream and that is something that I don't
24:27
see a lot of people doing because one it's hard work and then number two you have to have a commercial kitchen to do
24:33
TCS items temperature controlled items so you have to have a commercial kitchen to be able to have that kind of
24:40
temperature control where you're taking something that's cold putting it and processing it in a freeze dryer a lot of
24:45
people don't want to expend the cost of getting in a commercial space a lot of people don't want to also incur the the
24:53
the inconvenience of going to a commercial kitchen as well you got to drive there you you got have um all your
24:59
equipment there that type of stuff so a lot of people don't want to do that and so hence why uh freeze drying ice cream
25:05
has really worked for me all right hey if you're new to this
25:14
stream if you're new to this video my name is David I am a freeze dried business owner in Idaho and I've been
25:20
running this channel to focus more on the freeze-dried business side of the
25:25
industry so if you're looking at earning money with your free freeze dryer if you want to start a business with your
25:30
freeze dryer if you have an existing business and you want to know what everyone else is doing what's the news
25:37
are there new freeze dryer companies are there uh what what what are people creating this is the channel for you and
25:44
so welcome to this live stream what I try to do on these live streams is talk about um specific things and then also
25:51
open it up for Q&A so if you're new here and you're on your mobile or your desktop and you want to jump in the chat
25:57
I will respond to the to the chat couple of things that we've talked about prior to this was two major announcements from
26:05
Global candy makers Mars and Hershey Mars makes Skittles they are coming out
26:10
with a freeze stride Skittle uh uh candy brand they're calling it Skittles popped
26:17
and then Hershey is coming out with their Jolly Ranchers free stride in early 20125 that's what we've been
26:23
talking about so far and we've also just been answering your questions so by the way um I'd encourage you to do
26:31
two things one is if you don't mind like this live stream right now I would love
26:36
to make sure that more people are aware of this as they go throughout today and through the weekend so they can watch
26:42
this replay secondly if you could subscribe to this channel I would love
26:47
to have your uh connected uh account with my with my uh my channel here um
26:54
and there's a way for you to add notifications so that you know when a video is coming out and um I did announce that I'm
27:01
officially going to have memberships coming out with my channel it's going to be
27:07
$2.99 so that you can have one I'm gonna have I'm working on some custom emojis
27:13
I'm working on also uh just some identifiers of how long you've been a
27:18
subscriber for my channel and then number two three is I'm also going to be coming out uh also the part of the perk
27:26
for paying for that membership and support in this channel is I'm going to uh prioritize your comments uh and so
27:33
I'll reply to those I'm I'm working on a maximum of about 48 hours so it's
27:38
probably going to be sooner than that uh but sometimes it just life gets ahead of me so if you want to have priorities
27:45
with uh getting connected to me personally um I will respond to comments
27:51
from Members First and then to the public um so I'm trying to prioritize
27:56
unanswered comments the past and that's what the membership will do for you um I likely in the future am going
28:04
to add um like maybe a 24hour release of
28:09
of new content um ahead for members instead of uh the public so you'll get new fresh content as well and um and so
28:17
anyway that's all of it uh thanks everyone for right now who is ever on the stream uh let me know in the chat
28:24
where you're from I saw some people from Nebraska Minnesota Utah Idaho um awesome
28:31
to see thanks for joining and uh yeah let me know in the comments oh Georgia
28:37
let me know in the comments right now U I'll wait for a second how are things going um you know we're two weeks away
28:43
from Halloween we're heading into Black Friday Christmas how are I know it's an election year this is going to be it's
28:50
been to be honest it's been a little bit rough for me um you know I've got about eight different retail locations that I
28:56
sell my product here locally and it's probably dropped a couple hundred dollars per month from
29:03
what I normally receive I think just people are excuse me um I think just people are tightening
29:09
their wallets a little bit although I heard on the radio and the News they're like the consumer reports expects retail
29:15
sales to be close to 900 uh 900 million 900 billion I think
29:21
or something like that something crazy that they're saying that retail sales are going to be for the holidays which
29:28
seems a little absurd just given the market that kind of the market and the inflation that we're in like a lot of
29:34
people are bootstrapping so either we're going either we have money that we that
29:40
we want to spend or we don't have the money but we still feel like we need to spend it we're going out and buying a
29:46
bunch of stuff is what they're forecasting um uh
29:52
Kevin sorry for asking oh no ask away um what do you what do you find sells good
29:58
besides skills caramels at holiday bizar um great question so Kevin's asking in
30:04
the chat you know what what do you sell that's different than caramel M&M's uh
30:09
Skittles probably some of these like top Global Brands um a lot of times I I sell
30:16
a lot of fruit people are looking for healthy options so the kids might stop
30:21
by and they're going to see you know Candy things like that of course but I
30:27
sell a lot of fruit and it's the it's because it's like that dry people are used to dehydrated fruit so they're used
30:33
to kind of having a chewi to the fruit but I actually I think a lot of people
30:39
like uh the flavoring the intense flavor that a freeze-dried fruit comes so if
30:44
you can freeze dry fruit uh you can I believe you can do that still under Cottage food um for candies I would look
30:52
at things that um not everyone is doing so maybe it's more a little bit more labor intensive type candies so you
30:59
might want to look at things like AirHeads where you got to unwrap uh the candies uh you might want to look at
31:05
Charleston shoes lemon heads uh peppermints Starburst things that um are
31:13
not as easy to unwrap and so people are like I want the easy way out now you have that I would also look at you know
31:20
specific flavors a lot of people love sour things so I would look at sour
31:26
skittles uh sour skittles as well
31:31
all right Mike Q when you're renting a space in a kitchen now you work in the cost of electricity running the free
31:37
dryer does okay so you're yeah if you're in a commercial kitchen like how do you
31:42
figure out the cost of the electricity and how do you figure that in with the with the landlord uh great question I
31:48
actually you know when I started getting a commercial kitchen in 20121 here in boisey that was the same question I had
31:55
now the first place I went to was a commissary which was a shared commercial
32:01
kitchen the owner of that had about six different venders in there and the
32:07
majority of them were Caterers so they were in there all the time it was
32:13
actually super annoying the reason I was able to get in there though is he was really unfamiliar with freeze dryers but
32:19
when I showed him what the size of the freeze dryer is and I had three of them
32:24
he was like oh my gosh this is the size of a mini fridge I can easily put this in here and I said he's like well what type of electricity does it go through
32:31
and I was like well I mean I'm going to be doing fruit and like longer Cycles in this facility um I wasn't going to be
32:38
doing candy so anyway when I was running the longer Cycles I was like this is going to run for 48 hours you're never
32:44
going to even see me in here until it gets done and then secondly uh you know
32:50
the the power output at my house when I was Cottage food I said was around you
32:55
know5 to6 dollar per like 24 36 hour cycle and he's like oh you know and then
33:02
he had the cost of the of the rent space and he's like oh yeah well that'll include the electricity that comes
33:08
through and I was like well let me know if it like shoots through the roof and you feel like you didn't know what you
33:15
got into so I always kind of played the game of just being very professional and I just said you know like hey you know
33:21
this is an electrically powered type of uh Appliance so the electricity is going
33:27
to go up on your facility just let me know if it's too crazy and we can work
33:32
out something different with the rent so the rent the rent was my charge monthly and I didn't get charged for electricity
33:39
because I was just kind of upright and I just said this is what it kind of cost um so I hope that answers your question
33:45
I would just talk to them about just talk to them about it say Hey you know I I've run this thing at my home here's
33:52
kind of my bill normally $100 a month for electricity when I run my freeze
33:58
dryer nonstop for this past month it went up by 150 bucks so you know what do
34:05
you want to do about that so that's what I kind of would do James welcome I agree with the fruit
34:13
down here in Florida I do a lot of tropical fruits avocad a good seller oh interesting you know I've never done
34:19
avocados but I've always wanted to create my own like guacamole recipe well I have a guacamole
34:26
recipe for my mom uh but uh I've always wanted to create like a powderized guacamole uh mix so I
34:34
can just basically like just uh I guess mix it up again um so I thought about
34:39
just making it into little cubes and then that basically I just need to you know reconstitute it and then I've got
34:46
some quick guacamole for my kids quesadillas things like that that's a great
34:52
idea okay uh so we've been going here for about 35 minutes and I've answered
34:57
some question questions thanks for joining let's get back to some of the topics that I wanted to just talk about
35:03
um and one of it was uh uh shorts so I
35:08
asked the poll I'd love to hear your thoughts on YouTube shorts if you
35:14
consume vertical format types of videos could you please comment either on this
35:19
video or if you're live in the chat how do like what what videos have I posted
35:26
on this channel that you been like I really like these because I've tried some different formats I've done uh
35:32
reactions to some viral freeze drying that uh from space a snacks and other
35:38
other places um I've also done like you know here's five tips I've done uh kind
35:45
of some cut UPS of my longer form videos what what kind of has been the best
35:51
shorts that you've been like oh I'm so glad he posted that um so if I don't get any chats that's perfectly fine but but
35:57
if you're watching this as a replay let me know in the comments I would love to know uh What uh what you've enjoyed with
36:04
the YouTube shorts because YouTube has come out officially on the 15th of this month that you can do three minute
36:11
videos which that's a lot longer time and it's a lot easier for me to you know
36:16
explain something that I usually do in a 12 to 15 minute video now I can kind of
36:22
shorten that down vertically and get through a lot of material for you to consume but I kind of want to uh gauge
36:29
to see how you guys uh what what do you guys want um looking at the comments
36:36
now Stefan just got our first freeze dry delivered yesterday awesome
36:42
congratulations doesn't have custom settings like a harvest right I wonder if You' share what type of freeze dryer
36:48
you got um Kevin I think you did a short on packaging I think that's a great idea
36:55
old bear says really like the interviews and knowledge based videos perhaps you could dive deeper in the history of freeze drying that's a good suggestion
37:02
um yeah and speaking of like the interviews I don't know if you've
37:08
checked I I call it my podcast but it's really just a I'm trying to section it
37:13
differently from kind of my how-to videos and especially my live streams is
37:18
I've done almost I think 14 interviews through the frozen assets playlist if
37:24
you looked at that I'm that's what I'm calling my my podcast where I'm featuring entrepreneurs in freeze drying
37:31
um sweet potato awesome the guy down in Vegas uh Josh who's doing freeze drying sweet potatoes if you haven't checked
37:37
out that playlist you know I know they're really long but they're basically YouTube video or sorry Zoom
37:44
calls and also some inperson that I've done with different individuals across
37:49
the space and you probably don't know them and so I really like this aspect of
37:55
of the channel that I've also got this huge Network and I've got a lot of exciting people that I've already uh
38:01
interviewed and I'm trying to get get that video content together so yeah thanks for bringing that up old bear I
38:06
really like that because uh that's something I'm really G to be pushing in 2025 is is um trying to get one
38:14
interview out per month I'm also going to try to be uh traveling uh to different people featuring uh
38:21
entrepreneurs in freeze drying and that's part of what my new membership uh charge will be
38:28
going towards is it does cost me money and time for my family to go and travel
38:34
but it's kind of what I want to do I want to be the publisher for freeze drying news especially for B2B and so if
38:41
you see a lot of value in what I'm bringing to the table and just my my
38:46
types of strategy and what what I'm bringing to the table for news on freeze drying your membership support for for
38:55
you my YouTube channel was really going to help help me um and also sharing my those videos would be really helpful
39:03
too uh Stephan we can extend the drying time from what I've seen any advice on how to figure out the total times I mean
39:10
for the things we mean yeah what type of freeze dryer do you have that's that's my question I haven't seen that
39:17
yet um yeah you know freeze dryers are freeze dryer all freeze dryers are
39:24
different air Woods an air Woods freeze dryer let's see I'm gonna type that
39:30
up where are you where are you base out of
39:37
stepen air Woods home freeze
39:42
dryer huh I never heard of this company
39:48
um it almost looks like a Harvest
39:53
Right looks like they're in China
39:59
okay so yeah I'm not familiar with air Woods it looks like you
40:04
purchased like what looks like a harbest rate freeze dryer maybe maybe a knockoff
40:10
of one I'm not really sure um um so I'm not really sure you can go ahead and
40:16
email me though um I'm happy to correspond through that got it from a company in China yeah um yeah not really
40:24
sure what what what that's included there you know a lot of things have been have been marketed in China uh about
40:32
freeze dryers things like that um I'm just not sure you know what what what
40:37
that's all about so uh I live in the Netherlands hard to get a harvest right yeah um yeah it is
40:45
and I'm I'm trying to get more connected with uh European freeze dryer companies
40:52
there's one called wave um they're in Switzerland I did an interview I'm going to be coming out with that interview
40:58
here soon uh wave Technologies and there's also Hall and green science now
41:03
these are freeze dryers that typically have been used by the Cannabis space and
41:08
they um are usually European companies that then have um some type of location
41:14
here in the US so you might want to look at those two companies and they might have a way for you to purchase their
41:20
freeze dryers that still do candy and all types of stuff they just haven't really marketed their freeze dryers uh
41:26
for yeah you know Candy and uh fruit things like that it's mainly been pharmaceutical and cannabis so look at
41:33
those two again that the the two there are going to be wave and Hall and green
41:43
science Minard says or the cube yep cube is a a freear you might want to look to
41:49
see if they ship it to the to Europe um Salam I'm happy to get here
41:57
live live awesome yeah okay um yeah and so uh let
42:04
me go over a couple other things that uh I wanted to talk about regarding the uh
42:10
Mars and Hershey announcement so a couple things that I mention if in my
42:15
email uh distribution list is and also if you're not an email a part of my email list uh go to Freez Drive bus.com
42:23
there's a link in the video description uh join my email list I'm trying to email at a minimum twice a week trying
42:30
to get three and it's it's kind of where I'm going to more tailor my personality
42:35
and kind of my personal thoughts of throughout the week and news and things like that versus the the YouTube side
42:41
takes more time for me to edit and create a good quality production so although I I'm staying cons trying to
42:48
stay consistent with a weekly video um for long form and some shorts uh emails
42:54
where I can kind of quickly get to to talk to you so join my email list what I said in that when Hershey came out with
43:00
their announcement for freear ranchers is um here's a couple things that you can do when now that we know that these
43:08
major manufacturers are coming in number two is you need to kind of take a look at your business as it stand today and
43:14
look at your product line you know are you all focused on freeze drying Skittles and freeze drying a lot of
43:21
these name brand type of candies um because you will be struggling with
43:26
purchasing and getting that Supply uh from those from those candies once they release because they're going to be
43:31
prioritizing their candies so it's going to be tougher to get those types of candies in bulk uh number two is you
43:39
know can you can you tweak your own types of candies that you're doing so I
43:44
mentioned this and and Brandon over at white pepper Pharmacy mentioned this too powderize uh a a a a net or an an actual
43:54
freeze-dried product and then flavoring something else with that is something that I think is really a great
44:00
application and will really help you kind of elevate some type of new flavor and it doesn't take too much to do that
44:06
you've already got the freeze dryer um now flavor something by crushing up whatever you've done so let's take um so
44:15
make your own sour uh flavors I'm gonna i' I've seen some Sour recipes so you
44:21
could sourze things um I've got a video on taking Skittles and then putting
44:27
fruit flavoring all around it the best one that came out uh with that one was pineapple it actually tasted like a
44:32
pineapple freeze-dried Skittle so you could do those things um just consider a
44:37
lot of different things like can you include more volume in your product um can you go with something specific for
44:43
colors all of that is the first step that you need to do um as we look at
44:49
this announcement number two one is you need to start researching your candy your your own candy um one of
44:56
the things that I think that more people need to be doing is talking to maybe a
45:01
local candy maker we all know that there's local candy shops that make
45:07
candy they make taffy they make different things ask them hey I know
45:13
that uh these candies pop in the freeze dryer I want to create my own blue
45:18
raspberry type of Jolly Rancher hard candy um could you be because you're a
45:25
candy professional do you know what's in the Jolly Rancher I need um some kind of
45:30
candy created for me that's blue raspberry I want something that's more multi like a Taffy and I want something
45:36
that's more hard candy that's more uh like more of a powderized type of texture and then go to them and ask them
45:44
to make you something and it might cost you 50 75 bucks for them to make that
45:49
but is that worth it for research and development for potentially your own candy product absolutely so look into
45:56
that as are coming into 2025 number three that I mentioned in my
46:01
email um regarding my thoughts and my strategies for when because you know
46:07
Mars is coming out with their candies is um one survey your customers now to ask
46:14
them why they love your freeze-dried business and also your freeze dried products and then tell them hey we saw
46:21
recently that freeze dried that Mar that uh yeah Skittles coming out with their own Skittles popped and Jolly Rancher as
46:29
well um what's your opinion of that what would drive you to to actually purchase
46:35
from them versus me and that way you know through a survey you can do that through Google um if you have a Gmail
46:41
account you can use Google forms it's free you can send that out as a link and people will fill it out and you'll get the results you can also use Survey
46:48
Monkey things like that survey your customers already collect their email address or uh send them send people
46:55
emails to your vendors uh try to get a pulse on why people are buying from you and if they would move over to somebody
47:02
else why okay that's really good for you to know and then number four is uh why I did this live stream which is uh don't
47:10
freak out about this um you know just because these companies are investing millions of dollars doesn't mean that
47:18
it's going to be a success for them I mentioned earlier on in this stream that they are a publicly traded company a lot
47:25
of these are they are focused on profits and shareholder price they want their shareholders to be satisfied and if
47:32
they're investing a lot of money and their balance sheet shows that they have a lot of expenses going to freeze drying
47:38
and it's not producing enough return for their stock price to go up then they
47:44
will find other ways to to still stay in this space but not at an aggressive rate
47:50
that uh that would you know flood the market and not allow us to enter into it
47:56
again so they're not going to cannibalize their existing product either um that's another thing they're
48:01
not going to look at Skittles and go oh wow this has been making us you know a hundred million dollar a year just for
48:07
Skittles alone and then when we introduced freeze-dried Skittles popped
48:12
I the regular candy went down 25 million to 75 a year and then we only made 10
48:18
million with the freeze-dried Skittle popped um that would be a a sign of like
48:24
okay like we kind of can our own product that has always been a staple for us so
48:30
they're not going to do that um and so uh what one one thing just to keep in
48:35
mind too I I'll kind of wrap up and then we'll do some Q&A here if you're still watching this is one if you've purchased
48:43
your freeze dryer to start a business one congratulations I'm very excited for
48:49
you personally I love when people say I just purchased my freeze dryer I'm ready to start this because I love
48:55
entrepreneurship it's why I started this channel it's a kind of a business for me
49:00
um you know it's it's fun doing it but it's hard not everyone can be successful and the reason you can't be successful
49:07
all the time is because you let things like this get in your head get in your mindset and you let uh a lot of people
49:15
redirect your passion for what you're about to do uh don't go in it blindly
49:20
you know there is research that you need to do you need to be aware that there's competition you need to have a plan for
49:27
what products to sell uh you need to know what your cost are you need to know what you're going to sell it for and
49:32
what type of profit and what type of Labor and all that type of stuff you need to figure out which is very easy
49:37
you can go to my videos and see but don't let this uh discourage you and if you're an existing business I've already
49:44
given you some strategies on what you should be doing right now and I've been saying this for almost a year now that
49:50
you need to do your own you need to put money into research and development and if you want encouragement if you want
49:58
ideas um one you see in the chat white pepper Farms Brandon um I've gotten to
50:04
know him uh quite a bit this past year just as a Creator go to his YouTube
50:10
channel he's got a ton of videos on recipes and things that he's doing just from a home business uh not a home
50:17
business but well he kind of running a business but uh just a home uh like home
50:23
garden and then figuring out ways to use and apply freeze dried products secondly
50:28
is go to another Channel my friend Brian uh over at live life simple you've probably seen some of his videos he's
50:35
got his own freeze drying cookbook he's got recipes all of that can give you encouragement to say okay I know the
50:42
freeze drying process removes water I know that a freeze dryer with a vacuum
50:48
and and heat it helps candy to pop certain candies um I know that it can
50:53
preserve things long term it can also be applic able for powders it can flavor things differently you can also
51:00
reconstitute it so it's easy to transport and travel with without having to refrigerate certain types of produce
51:07
so all those different types of things spark ideas for you to expand your product line and it only takes one
51:14
product for a consumer that's per regularly purchased from you to kind of
51:19
attach themselves to you so I kind of think of uh trendy treats I did an interview with Jesus um and his wife uh
51:28
down in Salt Lake City Utah and they they started trendy treats which is a freeze-dried candy company and they want
51:34
to bring sweetness to the world one of the things that they did this year is
51:40
they launched their own freeze dread candy called a globo that globo they spent he said about a year researching
51:48
they made it blue raspberry which is favorite flavor they they tested it with a lot of focus groups and blue raspberry
51:54
seemed like the the best flavor it kind of has this this Twist on a Taffy like
51:59
maltiness with also like a rock pop so when I when I ate it there on site in
52:05
the interview um after I ate it it just kind of like popped in my mouth it was it was weird and it was kind kind had
52:10
had a sense of of of sourness too that that that's what this Camp is doing and
52:15
now that's they promote they just promote globos now um on top they have
52:21
other products they have freeze Dr Skittles uh you know rainbow uh bites whatever you call them they have all
52:27
those they're still selling them and I'm sure it's a huge product line but they went out made up their own product and
52:34
just said that's what we're going to be known for as well as the other things so
52:39
that's my encouragement to you um let's see let's get to some questions I'll stay on for another 10 minutes or so and
52:46
feel free to ask me some questions and if you want to you can always email me and I'll try to respond as well let's
52:54
see um hey man your Vis encour me oh all the way from Saudi Arabia I just received my two freeze dryers yesterday
53:00
I'm so excited awesome I wonder what freeze drying is like in Saudi Arabia what do you planning on freeze drying if
53:05
you don't mind uh adding in the comments there um uh one thing that i' I actually
53:11
tried was uh I tried something that my my brother-in-law is from Saudi Arabia
53:17
actually um and uh uh anyway uh he uh I I tried uh freeze
53:26
drying dates uh and I don't know it it didn't work out right um and so I don't
53:33
know uh I I guess I got to try more things I I probably should have I guess
53:39
maybe I didn't freeze dry it long enough um I probably should probably powderize dates because it has really good
53:44
nutritional value but yeah same stuff okay so candy things like that yeah
53:50
that's another thing the United States I feel like because of harbest rri being in the US and Salt Lake City
53:57
Utah you know they kind of kind of started this like huge Revolution this
54:02
this big industry in freeze drying especially freeze drying as a business and so I think it's really popular in
54:09
the US but I know that the global market is barely on the cusp of anything
54:17
because I've talked to two European freeze dry companies I told you wave and Hall and green science those two
54:23
companies are like yeah people are freeze drying but it's like few and far between so they're having huge success
54:29
so it's it's like popping up and so s in uh sa I hope I'm saying that is s uh in
54:37
uh Saudi Arabia man like you're gonna have a great success because you'll be able to uh really capitalize on not many
54:44
people doing it stepan uh you're saying uh any advice
54:50
about the gas uh ballast on the vacuum pump uh
54:57
no I don't know about that I don't know much about the vacuum pumps other than what's comes with the Harvest R and I
55:03
also have a stay fresh so I can't help you there um we got told that it needs
55:09
to be open at all times but it was delivered closed um yeah so from what I
55:15
understand about vacuum pumps uh I believe that's
55:22
more I actually I don't really want to speak about it because I I don't I don't want to want to give you advice um I I
55:28
believe Harvest Right says to keep the like the premium pump has a open and
55:34
closed uh valve and I believe you want to keep those closed because you
55:39
basically don't want the the evaporation from from whatever you're extracting and
55:46
going to the pump to go back in I believe uh don't quote me on that uh only one of those dates got
55:53
really good one day I'll send it to you yeah that'd be great great um all right if you're if you're still if you're
55:59
still on this live stream happy to to answer your questions if you've got any and again uh we've been talking about
56:07
the the news from Mars Wrigley and from Hershey announcing that in early 2025
56:12
they are going to be launching their freeze-dried Jolly Rancher brand hershe is and then freeze-dried Skittles popped
56:19
uh on the other end by the way you know one other thing
56:24
that I wanted to mention about the Skittles popped I think it's a great branding uh switch you know if you
56:31
notice in the article for uh Hershey calls it Jolly Ranchers freeze dried um
56:37
so they use the word freeze dried in Skittles it's called Skittles popped uh and then they do have on the
56:45
bag it says freeze-dried candy but what I like about that is I've I've kind of
56:50
felt that since freeze drying does you're not really it's not a free
56:56
freeze-dried candy right you're not taking any water out so like the you don't need necessarily a freeze dryer
57:02
the reason you do need the freeze dyer for C well let's rephrase that the
57:07
reason you're needing a freeze dryer to make a candy pop is because a freeze dryer has a cold trap which is the
57:15
cylinder that keeps the air cold while having a vacuum pull the pre like have
57:20
pressure to pop the candy and then you have heat to basically crystallize that
57:25
that c handy and then the reason you let it cool down in that cold trap is so that it can kind of basically stay in
57:32
that new form um so you can do it with the vacuum oven those things will pop uh
57:38
but you need to be attached to a vacuum pump because it needs to have that pressure to pop so the freeze dryer has
57:46
those that's why that but also a vacuum oven with a freeze dryer can do that
57:51
well uh sorry vacuum with vacuum pump with a vacuum oven vacuum oven though
57:56
are pretty expensive they're actually more expensive than a freeze dryer to my understanding uh so I I like the popped
58:04
brand I like that and they haven't trademarked and you know maybe they will
58:09
but I kind of like the idea of popped candy you know that popped candy is kind
58:15
of a good industry term versus calling it freeze-dried uh that way it kind of expands the plethora of candy that is
58:22
popped uh not necessarily freeze-dried um how do AirHeads and nerds work freeze
58:30
drying so AirHeads AirHeads are easy you know I wouldn't do any warming of the trays I would just do uh 150 degrees and
58:39
run it for two to three hours easy to freeze Dr that well nerds won't work necess like the hard candy but nerd
58:46
clusters nerd ropes those do pop at a 140 150 degrees the general consensus is
58:53
that you want to run most candies at 140 degrees or 150 degrees the recipe for
59:00
candy is going to be more on what type of heat you need prior to the vacuum
59:06
kicking on uh to pop that candy so the reason you see variances is because some
59:13
people heat candy in their oven some people heat it in the actual freeze dryer um there's hard candies that can't
59:20
pop unless they're melted down or softened up enough past 150° so the hard
59:26
Right freeze dryer and I believe to stay fresh uh I can't get them to go above
59:31
150° and that's what you kind of need for some of these harder candies like peppermints um like uh Red Hots and
59:40
lemon heads you need that hard shell to soften and then it'll pop uh but it
59:45
can't do that just directly putting it in the freeze you need something that has has enough heat to
59:51
it Tara first week with my Harvest Right Skittles nerd gumy were successful however my starbur didn't pop and were
59:58
Tad hard yeah um that might happen now if you warmed the trays Tera um then
1:00:05
okay you did I did 15 mons warming 150 for three hours didn't turn out like yours okay so there's a couple of
1:00:12
things that I would I would test again uh for Starburst is I would test uh one
1:00:20
the kind of the staleness of the starburst that you purchased um there is that is a factor so I've tried freeze
1:00:27
drying stale like uh sorry I started free I've had trouble with stale candy
1:00:34
is what I'm trying to say um peach rings that's what I was trying to get at peach rings if I have stale peach rings and
1:00:41
you can just look at the expiration date um when you go and buy it things like that all of a sudden they don't pop so
1:00:47
it has to be some fresh candy I think that that's a factor you have to evaluate that secondly uh when you look
1:00:54
at Starburst as well you kind of need to just test to see like what the room
1:01:00
temperature is when you're preparing that so if it hardens up too much let's say it's now the winter time and it
1:01:07
hardens up to up or you're doing it in a kitchen where it's air conditioned that may not that you need
1:01:13
to maybe make it more room temperature when you're when you're going to start putting in the freeze dryer that just might be the case um so keep
1:01:20
experimenting I know people struggle with Starburst um I've had success with Starburst burst in different ways you
1:01:27
can check out my video on freeze drying Starburst I did the oven way and I also did the freeze dryer way the oven way uh
1:01:35
made it melt way too much and it ended up popping more than I wanted to and then I did in the freeze dryer my
1:01:41
Harvest Right large and it popped uh perfectly uh and that and I did that for
1:01:47
eight minutes of warming the trays at 150 Kevin another question I've
1:01:53
had people ask me if they prepare the meals and I freeze dry for and then I sell it to them is that allowed um Okay
1:02:00
Kevin you're asking about basically doing freeze drying for other people I
1:02:06
do that myself um there's no like if you're doing it kind of like
1:02:12
oneoff for different people um and getting some money for that I mean it's
1:02:19
not there's nobody policing you is what I'm trying to say um but if you want to
1:02:24
actually create a business where uh you can get some insurance to cover liability um in case that that
1:02:32
freeze-dried meal goes bad or uh you want to be able to have a more consistent you know business with your
1:02:38
freeze drying like helping people freeze dry something then that's where I would really kind of investigate uh legally
1:02:46
how you can freeze dry something for somebody what I did get told by a health
1:02:52
inspector uh here locally is there is a difference between handling food and
1:02:59
processing food so for example he brought up that there's a butcher in the
1:03:05
local business in the local B boy area that all he does is he has people bring
1:03:12
meat for like you know it's hunting season right now they bring their elk and or they bring their cow whatever and
1:03:19
he butchers it and cuts it up into all the different types of uh cuts that
1:03:24
people want so he doesn't have to have a FDA license
1:03:31
uh to because FDA is more uh you know you have to or what I'm trying to get at
1:03:39
I don't I think it's the FDA I might be mixing up the two there's USDA us uh
1:03:45
Drug Administration and then there's also the uh the FDA Federal Drug
1:03:50
Administration FDA oversees I believe just the the selling of Commerce so if
1:03:57
you want to sell something that you've processed then FDA is there USDA is more overseeing uh like the
1:04:05
handling part of it um and I might be flip-flopping those so what I'm trying to get at is handling food for someone
1:04:13
all you need to have is a license to be able to handle the food and then you're just giving that back to them for a
1:04:18
payment uh you're not creating your own product packaging it with your own stuff versus if you're doing the whole process
1:04:25
then that's different uh you know if you're butchering the cow cutting it up
1:04:30
at your place then packaging it up in something uh and storing it to then sell
1:04:36
that that whole process is different than handling food hope that makes
1:04:42
sense want to do caramel M&M what you're setting caramel M&M's I do at 150 or 140
1:04:49
sorry 135 or 140 I don't go above that because the crell Eminem The caramel is
1:04:56
going to pop and for me I don't want it to be
1:05:01
too delicate so of 135 and 140 degrees in a Harvest Right freeze dryer or stay
1:05:07
fresh has worked well for me for caramel M&M's and let that thing cool because
1:05:13
again it has some chocolate in it so you want the freeze dryer to cool down or immediately put them in your freezer so
1:05:20
it kind of hardens up U the The Chocolate shell and the caramel good
1:05:27
