Blogger Tutorial For Beginners 2024 (COMPLETE)

Blogger is a free blogging platform by Google that perfectly for anyone looking to start their own blog

Whether you are interested in sharing your passions, hobbies or creating a platform for your writing, this tutorial will help you up and running with Blogger

Let's begin your blogging journey. First of all, setting up your Blogger account

First, head to the Blogger website. If you have a Google account, you can sign in directly. If you're not, you'll need to create an actual Google account

Once you logged in, you'll be prompted to create a new blog. So, choose the name for your blog and the URL

Try to pick something unique and descriptive. Once you are here, you can go into the new blog

And here I can go for a title. For example, How to Use or How to Get Started

Hit now into next. And here into the address. What you want to do, once again, choose a URL that is going to be really interesting

Let's go for Shopify. So I have now the post, zero post

So, let's go here into new post. And I can get started with my very first post

So, choosing a blog theme. Next, you want to select a theme for your custom blog

Blogger offers a variety of themes that you can customize it later

Pick one that aligns with the style and topic of your blog

Remember that this on your blog can have a big impact on your read experience

So, is it going to be simple? Is it going to be dynamic? Is it going to be picture window

Awesome incorporation? Watermark? Traveler? So, choose one that best suits for your working theme

And then later on you want to go for continue. Let's see for example, I'm going to be choosing something like this for example

You kind of like what you're seeing in here. Then later on let's go for apply

Or hit now into customize if you wanted to customize it later

Now, create your very first blog post. Now, it is time to create your very first blog post

Click on the new post. I'm going to go back. I'm going to do this later

Let's go into post. And as you can see we have something like a draft. So, once I have my very first post you can see that we have the entire text, images, links

Even format your post using blogger post editor. A well written engaging post is the key to attracting and retaining readers

So, take your time to get started here into your post. And you can give yourself a few different formats as you're getting started in here into blogger

After posting, you might want to customize your blog look further. Go to the layout section

And once you are in here, what I wanted to do is to just layout and add widgets

For example, widgets can be anything from a simple text box to a list of your favorite blogs or a search bar

Customization allows you guys to make your blog more functional and personalized

If you kind of like what you're seeing in here, then you can just move it on to the next step which is saving this

And left it on. Customization once again allows to make your blog more efficiently
