So you wanted to connect your Google site with your domain
0:04
and you purchase it with GoDaddy. So there are two things you wanted to do
0:08
First of all, let's open two tabs. In one tab, you wanted
0:12
to sign into our GoDaddy account, and you wanted to go here into
0:16
our dashboard, and make sure that we go directly into our domain
0:20
In this case, here is my actual domain that I have purchased
0:24
I go into my profile, I go into my products, I can see my
0:28
domain, and I go here into manage. So I just leave this like that, I open a new tab, and now what I want to do
0:36
is to go into sites.google.com And here is an amazing place to create websites totally for free
0:44
So what I want to do is to choose the actual Gmail account
0:48
that I used to sign into my GoDaddy. This should make things
0:52
much more easier. So I go here into got it, I go into
0:56
blank website, and now as you can see here is my page title. I'm going to try to choose title only
1:04
for example. I delete this, and here is my actual first website. So let's say for example that this is my website
1:12
I'm going to go and type tech express, and I want to have my domain connected with this website
1:20
that I have just created. So first of all, let's focus into published
1:24
Now as you can see we have a web address in here
1:28
So if I go into custom domain, I'm going to go into
1:32
manage, and here let's go into start your setup So as you can see it says enter your domain. So with that information
1:40
let's go back into your actual godaddy.com, and as you can see
1:44
this is the actual domain that I wanted to connect. So let's go into copy this
1:48
one, I'm going to go back, I paste it, and the domain is not verified. So verify your ownership
1:56
So this is the reason why I wanted to click into verify the ownership
2:00
and here what you want to do is to choose domain, continue
2:04
and checking the verification. So we have the instructions for what you wanted to do is to choose the option that says GoDaddy
2:12
Really really easy process. I'm going to hit into start verification So lastly what I wanted to do is to make sure that this one actually sends us
2:20
directly into GoDaddy. So let's go here into connect from the GoDaddy to authorize Google to enable this service. So I'm going to hit into
2:28
connect. This one should be really easy, just Google is going to make sure that we are the actual legit owner
2:36
of this actual domain. So verifying this might be taking a minute. This is why it's really important to have Google sites
2:44
connected with your Gmail account, and in this case since we used my Gmail account to create this account from GoDaddy
2:52
and the domain, it should be much more faster the process to verification property type. So the ownership has now been verified
3:00
So I'm going to hit into done. Now usually there's a lot of people
3:04
that say that this one actually does not work, and you try to reload the page
3:08
and it still says this domain is not verified, please verify your ownership. Now sometimes this happens because you have more than
3:16
one Google account. So if you're going to go to property you want to make sure that here inside the Google search
3:24
console you are using exactly the same Google account that you have here into your site.google.com
3:32
So if I type once again the domain, I now have access
3:36
to the techpress.ltd. So I'm going to hit into next connect to the third-party domain register. So here what I want
3:44
to do is to leave this like that. I'm going to go here into my domain
3:48
and here what you want to do is to focus into DNS
3:52
Now here into DNS, it actually usually is more than easy just to go into add new record. If I go back here into
4:00
Google site, you might see that says exactly the same thing as I just told
4:04
you guys. Go to the DNS settings, create a name, see name entry. So let's do that. Let's go here into name
4:12
choose option, and let's go for CNAME. Now here into name, usually under CNAME value or alias
4:20
enter triple W. So let's do that. And lastly into the destination, enter this actual address
4:28
So you're going to copy and paste the actual value. Remember to include
4:32
the period after the .com. We have to save the changes come back to this tab and click done. Let's do that
4:40
I'm going to hit into save, wait a few seconds there, and now
4:44
this record has now been added in here, as you can see here
4:48
it is. I'm going to go back, I wanted to go into this tab and hit into done. Now the
4:56
domain is now been assigned inside the actual Google. So as you
5:00
can see, the domain is now been created automatically. So I'm going to hit into
5:04
the X mark, let's go into publish to your web, and just
5:08
to make sure, I wanted to add a new web section, in this case let's go for
5:12
TechExpress Ltd. You don't have to worry because we need to just allow up to 48 hours to also be
5:20
available at TechExpress.ltd. So by default, we needed to have an actual default site, which is actually this one, but after
5:28
the 48 hours, we're not going to be having access to TechExpress.ltd
5:32
So don't get frustrated if you think that if you typed into your URL, and it doesn't
5:40
appear. This is something that usually might be taking once again up to 48 hours to appear into your Google
5:48
site. But the process, it is actually the same and easy. So with that
5:52
being said, we have now reached the very end of the video, but don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel
