How To Add Custom Product Pages in Shopify (2024) Tutorial For Beginners

Welcome back everybody to Techpress. In this tutorial I'm going to be showing you how to add your own custom pages of your products

So let's say that I have my store here, and I have my catalog, I have my snowboard, I have my products, and usually I have one product per page, one page per product

So what I wanted to do is to add a custom one. I wanted to create my own, or I don't want to edit it, I want to add my own custom page of a product

How I can do this? Well, for instance, you don't want to edit your stuff directly into the editor of Shopify, you want to do this directly into your navigation in Pagest

So how do I find this? Let's go back, let's go into the exit section, let's go into my new theme section, and here as you can see what I want to do inside my dashboard

is to focus into the little part where it says online store. Inside my online store, instead of going directly from themes, let's go into Pagest

Now here in Pagest, what I want to do is to get started with my very first tag that says add page, and here let's say that I wanted to get started with the title of my custom page product

So for example here I have the example, now I go down here and I have the content

So usually what you want to do is to add all the information about your custom product

Now, just in case that you don't know how to add your own content, what I can totally suggest to you is to open a new tab and try to copy and paste in a specific image or in a specific product

So let's say that you have now your page that has already been saved. I'm going to hit now to save, I'm going to hit now to customize the template of this page

And as you can see, I do have this checkout schedule section, here I have the template, and here I have my example product number one, which in my case is the actual page

So, what I wanted to do here is to get started here in Pagest, the file Pagest, so I create a very first template

Or, what you can do is just to view the page, so you can check it out how it's going to be looking, and as you can see we don't have nothing

But now that we have created an actual page, what I wanted to do is to get started with the addition of it

So let's go into remove this section because I don't want you to see this. Here's example product number one, I'm going to hit into add a section, and I wanted to add a featured product

So here into featured product, as you can see I have this product, and here I click here and I go into selecting a specific product in order to feature that

So I'm going to scroll a little bit down and I'm going to look how for the product that I wanted to get started with

For example, this Fountain of Water stand up paddle board. So I'm going to hit now into select, and now I have my custom element in here

Usually what you can do is to try to check it out how it's going to be looking

Let's see for example, add a block here, let's say like an SKU number, you can add or delete the color, the size range, the quantity, and all of that

You can, this content from the page, you can edit that page directly in here, and this one should be bringing you or sending you back now into the example product

So you wanted to make sure that this one appears as safe. So this is how we can go back into your edit your page, and all your elements should be appearing now in here

Usually that would be more than enough, but in my case, let's say that I wanted to add something else like a new image here

So I choose this one, this image, I go here, I have this new section, and instead of going with the media, let's go for small, or constrain media to screen high, fill, and that's it

I'm going to hit now into safe, and lastly let's go for the three dots, and hit into view, and there you go

As you can see, it is actually looking really great, my website, and now I can go directly into my feature product, which in my case is this one

and we have just created something really great, nice and easy. If you wanted to have more access to customize your actual product, you can always go back, and here into your actual page that you want to edit

you have to go directly into the three dots, and hit into edit code. Inside the edit code, you have access to everything, every kind of file that is linked here into your code of dawn

Usually you can always go into the layout, the theme liquid, and this one has access to all the liquid that we do have available into our store
