Queens parents rally for traffic light at dangerous Forest Hills intersection

Parents and community members rallied at the intersection of Alderton and Fleet streets Wednesday to demand that the NYC DOT immediately install a permanent traffic light and pedestrian safety measures. The demonstration follows a string of recent crashes at the high-risk school corridor, including a vehicle plowing through a daycare fence and an SUV striking a five-year-old boy.
