PATH fare hike coming by 2029 as Port Authority promises faster, better service

The Port Authority is proposing gradual PATH fare hikes through 2029, raising the single ride from $3 to $4 — to help fund major upgrades, including faster trains and restored seven-day service for the first time in 25 years.
