Dan, we can tell you the police are investigating a shooting. We understand this happened shortly

before 5 o'clock this morning somewhere along 7th Avenue near 47th Street. Now earlier the

police did have the entire block of 7th Avenue closed off between 48th and 47th Streets. In the

last few minutes they reopened it to the public. You can see some of those officers wrapping up

the crime scene tape. This is at the corner of 7th Avenue and 47th Street. We understand a man

was shot. He is currently in stable condition. At this point, police have not released any

information regarding a suspect or suspect's description or otherwise. Again, there's still

an investigation ongoing, but in the last few minutes we've seen some of the road closures
