Knicks in first round of NBA Playoffs

We've had some guys that's been in the playoffs, been in finals, Western Conference finals, you know, stuff like that

So we all know what the playoffs takes. And, you know, we're picking up the preparation mentally and physically

As you can tell there, Josh Hart and his fellow Knicks teammates are ready for the playoffs

Game one against the Pistons just tipped off moments ago at Madison Square Garden

And Fox 5's Richard Goffis is in Midtown with why fans are so excited this time around

Richard. Arthur, we know Knicks Nation is on full display inside MSG, but I will tell you it's why we've had to move a couple of blocks away

This is the loudest it's ever been outside the Garden with the first ever Knicks watch slash block party

It is electric over there. We'll show you it in a moment. But this is NBA playoffs, round one, game one, Knicks and Pistons

and I've always heard about the stigma playing in Madison Square Garden, and you never know it, you never really feel it till you come here and put the uniform on

There's a big screen right there for you to see, and it's bigger than my TV

And the crowd. You bunch around, New Yorkers, non-New Yorkers, tourists, everybody's here

I feel like there's not many places where you see all the alumni just walking around right in front of you

Like Marcus Candy was literally right there. So, yeah, it was sick
