Flooding in Queens and beyond| Latest

A powerful nor’easter swept through the tri-state area, battering the Jersey Shore and New York City with strong winds and coastal flooding. Streets and homes were submerged in Queens and Long Island, and in Brooklyn, a 76-year-old woman was killed when flying debris struck her during the storm.
