United States hit by unprecedented snowstorm

A severe winter storm has left at least 23 people dead and caused widespread power outages and travel paralysis across the US A dangerous Arctic air mass is bringing life-threatening cold, with temperatures expected to remain below freezing in much of the northern half of the country through February 1.
