UN declares famine in Gaza City, the first in Middle East history

Gaza City is officially gripped by famine, and it is likely to spread across the Palestinian enclave, the UN-backed global hunger monitor said on Friday in the first such declaration in Middle East history. Israel rejected the report, calling it an "outright lie". Florent Marchais tells us more.
