Son of Iran's shah remains divisive figure despite presenting as rallying figure

Reza Pahlavi, the US-based son of Iran's ousted shah, urged Iranian security forces and government employees on January 11 to join the swelling protest movement in the Islamic republic. But despite wanting to present as a rallying figure and benefiting from support of young protesters, the MAGA sympathiser remains a divisive figure.
