'Greenland tipped the balance': Macron and Trump's shifting relationship

French President Emmanuel Macron and his US counterpart Donald Trump are seeing their relationship shift after Trump published what he said was a private message from Macron. In an analysis, FRANCE 24’s Solange Mougin said the two leaders are edging toward a “divorce phase,” after Greenland “tipped the balance”. In recent weeks, Trump has ramped up his rhetoric over the island, vowing to acquire it despite strong European opposition.
