Ecuadorians vote on the return of foreign military bases to their country

This Sunday, Ecuadorians are set to vote on whether to allow foreign military bases to return to the country. Ecuador had previously played host to a US military base for a decade, but kicked US troops out in 2008. The referendum comes as US forces are conducting a campaign of strikes against boats they say are carrying drugs in the Pacific and Caribbean. Story by Ellen Gainsford.
