China: Tropical storm Dolphin causes floodings

Typhoon Dolphin is the 13th typhoon recorded in China this year, after sweeping through Japan’s Okinawa and intensifying monsoon rains in the Philippines.  Scientists warn that a warming planet is making extreme weather events, including powerful typhoons, more frequent and intense.
