So a slightly different video for today is I've ordered myself some fish online and I thought I'd unbox it with you guys

Water looks really clean which is nice and then I think that's just a filler bag just to

keep them stable and a couple more heat packs at the bottom of the box. Really pleased with

that So both the Betra and the Pea Puffers are going to go into their own tank If I was putting them into or put a fish into a community tank I would quarantine them for a couple of weeks first I never put new fish straight in with existing fish because you don want to bring in a pest or a disease

But as these guys are going into their own tank, I'll treat each of those tanks essentially like a quarantine

When I get new fish, I automatically always treat them with a range of medications

I treat for ick, I treat for external and internal parasites and for bacterial infections

that way I make sure they're nice and healthy before I add them to my main aquarium

So I think what I'll do, I'll get these guys acclimated, release them into the tanks, and then we'll cut to some footage
