Christian Man Recites Bible at ‘Pride’ Event — What Happens Next Is Horrifying

As you know, June is Pride Month. Yippee! And so there's pride parades nationwide and little pride gatherings

You know, when I was a young person, pride usually was derived from something you had accomplished

You know, when I was a young man, people had pride in things because they accomplished something

But today people have pride for all sorts of things. It's not just your June pride, but it's your national pride, or your heritage pride, all

kinds of pride for things that you had nothing to do with. But you're proud of them for whatever reason

Okay, be proud. Have a parade. You know what's great about the First Amendment

You can have that parade. And I support you having that parade because we live in the United States of America where

the First Amendment reigns supreme. There's a right to have a parade, and you know what

There's a right to protest that parade. Or is there? We're going to take a look at a video where you're going to see a Christian, peacefully

this is the most peaceful form of protest you could possibly have, peacefully reading

the Bible next to a pride parade or gathering or hootenanny or whatever it was

And I want you to watch what the officer of the law does to him. Let's take a look

I wish you all a happy Pride Month. Now again, I reiterate to you, this is the United States of America, where we have freedom

of assembly. We have freedom to protest. Both the people who were celebrating Pride and the Christian who was reading the Bible

were within their rights to do what they were doing. For the police to step in for either side in this particular situation was abhorrent

This officer, in my opinion, should lose his job for abuse of power, and there should be

a massive lawsuit by this Christian man for abuse of power. You cannot arrest somebody in the United States for exercising their right to protest

He was not harassing these people. He wasn't getting in their face

He wasn't touching them. He wasn't attacking them. He was simply reading the Bible

And I will say this on a personal note. If reading the Bible, if talking about God's Word in public is against the law or becomes

against the law, well then I'm an outlaw and you can put me in prison because you will

not silence Christians. We cannot let them silence Christians. This is our faith

This is what we believe in, and we have as just much a right as anybody else to talk

about it, to preach about it, and to love the Lord in public, in private, or wherever
