Blockbuster Change In Trump Documents Case Could Be Seen After Red Flag

and former President Donald Trump could see a massive change to his classified documents case coming very soon

because of a little time bomb in the federal prosecution's case. Before we get started, please make sure you like

So, federal prosecutor and special counsel, Jack Smith, he put the case in Judge Eileen Cannon's district

And this could have been by design. See, the district is great for Trump

Having Eileen Cannon there is also great for Trump. She has made a lot of decisions

that take into consideration his position as the former president and why the case is special

Also, the case is in a district that has pretty much been solidly red

and one county that's kind of purple. So, the jury pool is also fantastic

for the former president. But there's a time bomb in the case

that could set off a red flag that could have Judge Eileen Cannon removed

So, a legal expert and former U.S. attorney was looking at the case

and she looked at where Jack Smith said he wanted to have a speedy trial

If you remember, that was a very big thing he announced when he announced the charges

He actually used the words speedy trial. The judge set the date for August

Jack Smith came back and said, no, can we please move it to December

because Trump's people, his attorneys, have to get their clearance to review classified documents

Now, he's already turned over all non-classified materials as part of the law that requires discovery

However, the classified materials, they need clearance. So, he wants to give them time

so they can read the documents and prepare to defense. Make it sound like Jack Smith's a really good guy

He wants to make sure they have everything. What he wants to do is make sure they have no excuses

See, what he's concerned about is them postponing this case till after the election

He wants the case to start in December. Now, this, of course, is peak time

for campaigning for the presidential election. But what this legal expert is saying is

that if this case is delayed any longer than December, it could set off a red flag

See, the federal government already thinks that Judge Eileen Cannon is gonna favor Trump

And so, they're looking for anything for her to say or do

that would show that she was being unfairly partial to President Trump, who appointed her

Now, again, this is not my opinion. This is the opinion of a former US attorney

and legal expert. It is widely believed that the Trump team wants to kick this can till after the election

because he needs to go campaign and do rallies and whatnot. However, what she's saying is

if the judge did agree to that, it would be unprecedented to allow a defendant to campaign

and put that trial off for his own personal schedule and his professional ambitions

It wouldn't be done for other defendants, and it shouldn't be done here, is the case of this former prosecutor

and the federal government. However, this is a special case. This has never been done before

This is all unchartered territory. But what she said is that if the judge, Eileen Cannon

did agree to Trump team's terms if they asked to kick the can down the road further

that would set off a red flag, and then Jack Smith can move in and try to have her removed from the case

Again, this is all speculation, but it does seem like a very wise plan

if you're Jack Smith in the federal government. And, you know, we don't think

I don't think they've been very fair to Trump to begin with. It does seem to me they're out to get him

And this would fall right in line with that. But I wanna know what you guys think in the comments
