'You're A Disgrace To All Black People' - Eric Adams Roasted By Black Protester

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, he is in so much of a jam, it's hard to quantify

And he just got torn to shreds by a protester before he could give his press conference in, I think, one of the greatest, most epic takedowns I've ever heard in politics

Mayor Eric Adams is accused of taking bribes from the Turkish government amongst a litany of other crimes, accepting illegal donations, influence peddling

It's a slew of really, really serious charges that could land him behind bars for a long, long time

And I have to admit that I was one of the guys that thought, hey, look, New York elected a Democrat

I live near New York, New York City, and New York elected a Democrat, but this seems like a pretty good Democrat

You know, he's pro law enforcement, so maybe something will happen and he'll fix that city

He didn't. He failed miserably. And that's just part of his problem, because not only did he fail miserably, in doing so the people of the city no longer support this man

And now you add all these charges on top of it. I don't see how he can govern anymore

I don't see how he can govern effectively as mayor with this kind of a case against him

I think it's time to step aside, let somebody else take over until the election

I don't see how he can how he can maintain this. That being said, today he gave a press conference where he wanted to explain his side of the story, which, by the way, he didn't

He didn't address any of the charges. But before he could get to the podium, a protester, a black protester in the crowd totally tore him apart, talking about, you know, don't make this a black thing

This isn't about a black thing. This is about a you thing, Eric Adams. This is about your corruption. This is about how you have anti-black policies

This is how you've hurt the black community, how you're a disgrace. This person was very furious. And I understand why, because I have seen, you know, in my day to day life how this man has ruined that city

Which, by the way, you know, being better than Bill de Blasio was a very low bar to meet

It wasn't like you had to move mountains to meet that bar. And the fact that he couldn't do that, and actually maybe worse than Bill de Blasio, is almost unfathomable

I want you to watch this video of this protester. Just take him apart

And then let me know what you think in the comments. Black Lives Matter, greater New York, saying that this is not a black thing

This is not a black thing. This is a you thing. This is a you thing, Eric Adams. This is not a you thing

Your policies are anti-black. You are a disgrace to all black people in this city

The things that you have done are unconscionable. You hurt our schools. Our streets are dirty. Our children are harassed by the police

This is ridiculous. This is ridiculous. You can shush me all you want, but the people are with us

And this is not a black thing. This is a justice thing
