Trump Has Selected His Pick For Running Mate - News Stuns Republican Party

Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow

You know, since Trump announced for the, you know, the Office of Presidency, everybody

asked the question, who's going to be the vice president pick, right? Because you know it's not going to be Mike Pence

You know it's not going to be him, right? So people were wondering who he's going to pick

And traditionally, a lot of times, the vice presidential pick actually comes from the primaries

So you look around at who's in the primaries, you say, all right, you know, who did good

And that's who I'll pick. Now in Joe Biden's case, he said who was a black female, found one person, and that's

who he picked. That was his criteria. Got to be a black female. That was it

Qualifications be damned, got to be a black female. That's his process

That's not Trump's process. So one name has emerged. One name has emerged, and I thought, I kind of brushed it off originally, but apparently

it's really serious. Let's take a look. There's been, the name floated, my old boss Tucker Carlson as vice president

Is that a real thing that you're hearing as a possibility, or is that floated by maybe

people around Tucker? No, it's a real thing that I am hearing as a possibility

You know, the likelihood of it, I don't know. I think there will be a pretty professionalized vetting process, honestly

I know that might sound unbelievable based on what we've seen from Trump historically

but Trump's current political team is the best, at least as a non-incumbent that he's had

And there's just a different level of control. I mean, these are people who have been involved in efforts that give them a base of knowledge

And this is not 2016 again. But I don't think the Tucker thing is not real

I think that what the ultimate VP choice for a Trump nominee could look like could be very

different than what we think. I think the risk with Tucker Carlson and Trump is that Tucker Carlson is a very big star

in his own right, and I'm not sure how Trump would contend with that

You mentioned- Now Maggie Haberman, she would know. She covered Trump before he was president

She covers him now. She covers him relentlessly. She would know if this is seriously being talked about or not because she knows she

has sources inside Trump world. Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump, could you ask for more of a dream team than that

I don't know if you could formulate a better team. Who would you rather see as president and vice president
