'The View' Stuns Fans With Massive Announcement - New Shows Have Been Halted

Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Explain America. I'm your host Carmine Sabia

and the co-hosts of The View are giving all of us a much needed break, ladies and gentlemen

It was announced on Friday that the ladies of The View will be gone for a good while

In fact, no new live episodes of the show will be airing for 11 show days. Now this

means this is their Independence Day break. Apparently it lasts about two weeks. So it's

going to start next Friday and then stretch for 10 more days after that. 10 more business

days as it were. And this will give everybody a break from the liberal nonsense that appears

daily on that show. Whoopi Goldberg, Sonny Hostin, Joy Behar, Sarah Haines, Anna Navarro

gone. Gone for at least 11 days. Now, they did announce something else. Unfortunately

for those of you that are addicted to The View, and I know you're out there, they will

be airing reruns of the show so you can still watch it at its normal time slot if you just

can't get enough of their blathering and blubbering and total nonsense, then there

it is for you. You know, Whoopi Goldberg caused a stir this week when she said that evangelical

Christians might learn a hard lesson about their belief system and about God. And what

she said was that they may learn that God's not on their side when it comes to a lot of

the issues that they support. Now, I find this preposterous. Not only preposterous

but rude. You couldn't imagine saying that to Muslim people or Jewish people. Well, maybe

Whoopi can because she's insulted Jewish people before. But you wouldn't imagine saying it

to any other group other than Christians, basically. And I think Jews, too. Jews do

get their fair share of criticism. And it's unfortunate. These two religions have been

singled out to receive basically all the criticism from Hollywood, from politicians

and the like. Whoopi Goldberg, who has taken a Jewish name, even though she's not Jewish

Whoopi Goldberg saying something like that is an insult to Christians around the world

evangelical Christians who place their hope and their beliefs in our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ, people like myself. And you know, I don't sit here and say, well, Whoopi's

wrong. I don't say that because I don't know. I can't judge. I don't sit and sit here and

dictate what God thinks or what God wants. Or, you know, I can't do that. And neither

can Whoopi Goldberg. God will tell us. And if we're listening carefully, he will tell

us. And I know like you, I sin every day. I'm a shameful sinner. And I need the mercy

and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to save me because I'm inadequate. And so

is every human being that's ever walked this earth other than Jesus. So if Whoopi Goldberg

doesn't get that, then she doesn't get the true meaning, in my opinion, of what Christianity

is and what it's based on. We never say that we're perfect or that we're always right

We just say that we need the mercy and the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

to save us because we're not perfect and we're not always right. And Whoopi, I think you

owe everybody an apology for something like that. That was absolutely rude and uncalled
