Hey ladies and gentlemen, Carmine Sabia here for Explain America and Adam Schiff is not
0:05
out of the woods, not by a long shot. Folks, before we get started, please make sure you
0:10
like, comment, share and subscribe. I know that stuff is annoying to hear, but it really
0:14
does help us out and it helps our channel continue to grow. It's important that you
0:18
do it. So Adam Schiff narrowly skated by this week from paying a $16 million fine and being
0:27
censured by the House of Representatives. Now it was in relation to his participation
0:32
in the Russian collusion theory that has since been debunked. Now the Russian collusion theory
0:38
states that Donald Trump and his campaign had an actual collusion relationship with
0:44
Russia, not just a periphery relationship, but that they and Russia colluded to quote
0:51
and quote the 2016 election. And so, you know, this theory was prevalent, by the way, you
0:58
know, for, for 2016 and 2020 questioning the results of an election was totally in vogue
1:05
on the left, in the news media, on social media, everywhere. It was totally okay to
1:11
question the results of an election for those four years. After that, however, you can't
1:16
have any questions. So be that as it may, Adam Schiff skated by with a little help
1:22
from his friends. 20 Republicans joined the Democrats in voting against the resolution
1:28
to censure and fine Adam Schiff because they're cowards. However, now there's a new investigation
1:35
starting because a conservative group has filed an ethics complaint against Schiff
1:41
And the complaint is so serious that if voted on and approved, and this could be approved
1:46
see, and I'll explain to you why in a second, but if this is voted on and approved along with Rep, uh, Anna Paulina Luna's new resolution that does not include the $16 million fine
1:57
Adam Schiff can be removed from Congress. So why can this one make it in the other one
2:02
Can't you're probably asking, right? So here's the answer. This doesn't have the $16 million
2:08
fine attached. Some Republicans argued that the $16 million fine was both unconstitutional
2:14
and a dangerous precedent. And that if it were passed that in the future, Democrats
2:19
could use a hammer like that against Republicans. In other words, they were afraid of their
2:23
own corruption, which is what I argued on the day that it happened, because if you're
2:27
not doing things like that, you don't have to worry about that. So they were afraid of
2:31
their own corruption and they protected Schiff in reality to protect themselves. That being
2:37
said, this could actually give some real punishment to Schiff, some real punitive
2:42
punishment. Removing him from the house before his election or his, his campaign for Senate
2:47
even gets off the ground could be a devastating blow to him or, or it could actually give
2:53
him a boon with Democrat voters in California because well, it's California. So you never
3:00
know. Anyway, folks, that's the story. And I ask that you like comment, share, and subscribe
3:06
We love you guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody
