Vice President Kamala Harris has given some doozies of answers in her career
0:36
I mean, just some ridiculous answers. You guys remember the significance of the passage of time? You guys remember that answer
0:44
She just says words and she kinda strings them together in something that sounds like a sentence
0:50
in something that sounds like a complete thought, but it never really is a complete thought
0:55
At least that's how I see it. Well, she was given a softball question, in my opinion, if you have an answer for it, that is
1:03
by the National Association of Black Journalists. They asked her, what would you say to voters
1:07
Would you tell them they were better off now than they are four years ago
1:11
She didn't answer the question. She gave an answer. She gave a long-winded answer about, gosh, I don't know what it was about, but it wasn't about the question
1:22
And to say that this is the worst answer of her career, again, that's a high bar
1:26
because she's given some doozies. But this was really tragic. I want you to watch this and let me know what you think in the comments
1:34
Are they better off now than they were four years ago? So when we came into, well, first of all, let me just say
1:40
it is good to be with the National Association of Black Journalists, and I thank you for the work you do and that your members do every day
1:46
It is very important that we ensure that this organization and your members

1:57
So I thank you for hosting me today. Four years ago, when we came in, we came in during the worst unemployment since the Great Depression
2:10
We came in during the worst public health epidemic in centuries. We came in after the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War
2:24
And a lot of it due in large part to the mismanagement by the former president
2:30
as it relates to COVID, and obviously January 6th. And we had then a lot of work to do to clean up a mess
2:38
As of today, we have created over 16 million new jobs, over 800,000 new manufacturing jobs
2:45
We have the lowest black unemployment rate in generations. We have invested in small businesses, and to the benefit of many people
2:57
but including black small businesses, some of the highest rate of creation
3:01
of new black small businesses in years. ♪♪
