0:08
and he's not interested in playing games. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe

Again, it really helps us out. Florida governor Ron DeSantis has no time for games
0:35
He didn't have time for games with Vice President Kamala Harris to play her political nonsense where she's calling the governor of a state
0:43
that she hasn't done in three and a half years anytime there's been a storm. Suddenly now she cares and she's calling
0:48
She plays no role in the process, but she's calling. I digress because she's not part of this video
0:55
But I just had to say that because his threshold for annoyance right now is at an all low His state just been hit with two major hurricanes with a third major hurricane possible in the next week or so
1:07
which is called Nadine. Look it up. It's taking aim at Florida again
1:13
His state's been inundated, decimated, and annihilated. And he's got a lot on his mind
1:19
So when he was asked by a reporter about a question or an ysis
1:24
that the Wall Street Journal did on hurricane damage in his, his state, yeah, he went rogue on this guy and he was furious
1:33
I want you to watch this video and I want you to tell me if you think he was justified
1:37
I think he was justified. But I want to know what you think, the viewer. So please watch this video and let me know what you think in the comments
1:45
Some Wall Street ysts predicted that Milton's losses could exceed $50 billion
1:50
Does the state have any sort of... How the hell would a Wall Street ysts be able to know
1:54
It's been dark all day. What, you're just going to know that you're going to do? I mean, like, give me a break on some of this stuff
1:59
They doing damage assessments now They always say this or that or whatever I mean what I would say is what I said in the original talkers We had certain worst case scenarios in terms of going into Tampa Bay
2:15
A lot of places in Pinellas County, they had negative storm surge because it sucked the water out of the bay
2:21
So in terms of all that, where you'd see the entire Tampa Bay Area underwater, that did not happen
2:26
The storm surge, and it was most acute in Sarasota. Sosa, and I think it was a little bit more than Sarasota got for Haleen, but it wasn't like so much more
2:36
I think it was 8 to 10 feet. Helene, of course, got almost to 20 in Taylor County
2:42
And then I think the fact that the storm weakened, I think most of, I mean, I'm not saying there's not going to be damaged
2:48
There will be a cut across the state in a way that Haleen did not. But in terms of just right now, the morning after, if I think back to like Hurricane Ian, I don't think
3:00
think that you looking at similar amount of damage to Ian And then with Helene there may end up being more overall damage There may not I don know But definitely the surge did not reach Haleen levels
3:13
I mean, Haleen was producing major surge all across the west coast of Florida
3:18
And then in the Big Ben, it was just biblical. That was not necessarily what we happened here
3:23
Anything north of the storm had minimal surge on the west coast
3:27
And it was really kind of that Sarasota, Charlotte Harbor, down into Lee, Collier
3:33
but compared to what they had with hurricane, that is not on the same level
3:39
So we'll see. There'll be a lot more that'll need to be done to assess the extent of the damage
3:45
But what I think we can say is we have a lot of resources in play here in Florida
3:50
to be able to mitigate and get people back on their feet and get the state moving again
3:55
I think it's what people want. They want to get back in their homes. They want to see the roads clear
3:59
They want to see the bridges reopen. And so that's our sole focus so that we get people. back
