Geraldo Rivera Makes New Show Announcement - Wants To Take On 'The Five'

has another, another, another silly idea to get back at Fox News

So Geraldo Rivera has been in the news media for decades. Decades of Geraldo Rivera

I'm sure a lot of you guys remember the Al Capone's vault fiasco, right

That's how long he's been in this business, and longer than that still

And you know, he's always been a fighter, he's always been a tough guy, and you know

that's the character he portrays. What he is in real life, I don't know, but I mean, some of the things I saw him do when

he was young, I thought, tough guy, pretty strong, good reporter. But the whining fest that he's been on since he left Fox News after being fired from The

Five, the obsession with Fox News that he's had, Fox News, who gave him a beautiful, loving

send-off when he left, I mean, they gave him everything short of a parade when he left

He's still very angry at what happened. Now, we all know that it appears that the issue was between Geraldo and Greg Gutfeld

and Geraldo felt that Fox News kept taking Gutfeld's side. He didn't name Gutfeld, Gutfeld didn't directly say it was him, but the way the shots were

back and forth, you can kind of tell. I mean, after Rivera did his appearance on The View and complained about an unnamed cast

member on The Five that he had a, quote, toxic relationship with, end quote, Gutfeld hit

back a couple days later basically making fun of him and calling him weak for going

on The View and complaining about that. So, you know, I'm not Inspector Clouseau or even Inspector Gadget, but I'm able to

piece together that I believe that, you know, Greg Gutfeld was the guy that he had the issue with

So Geraldo's new idea is to launch a show similar to The Five and call it The Four, okay

He said this would be available to any cable network and it would include him, of course

and three other people who would discuss the day's current events. That's pretty much a carbon copy of The Five, except he said his show would appear, you

know, it would air at four o'clock because it's The Four. I don't know where you stop from there

The Three, the Two, the One, where do you stop from there

I think he can't get over being let go of The Five. Maybe he thinks his name alone is enough to carry a show like that

Newsflash, Geraldo, people weren't tuning in for you. You were there and they were tuning in, but for most people, you weren't the reason they

were tuning in. So, you know, now you're going to bite off

First of all, I can't imagine there wouldn't be a lawsuit against any network that would

pick this up. It's a direct copy of The Five, except you have one less person, you gave it one number

different name, and it's airing an hour earlier, but it is a direct copy

I couldn't imagine Fox News would not absolutely take this to court immediately

Give it a different name. It doesn't have to be The Four. If you want a panel show, Geraldo, pitch a panel show

But why this obsession with The Five? Why this obsession with Fox News

Why this attempt to try to hang on and draw money from a show you used to be on

Because that's what this is about. You know that naming it The Four would draw money because people would say, oh, it's the

antithesis of The Five, so I've got to see this, especially liberals

They would love to tune into that, right? So this just seems to me, using the name of a Fox News property, adjusting it and manipulating

it, and then trying to cash in on it. I cannot believe there would not be a massive intellectual rights lawsuit about something

like that. That'd be very hard to believe. What do you guys think? Do you dig that kind of show idea

What if Fox News picked it up, had The Four and The Five? What do you think of that
