'Dirty Tactics' - Biden Campaign Calls For Insane Censorship

the Biden administration, or at least the campaign, they want to do that censorship

game again, like they did in 2020, and they might get their way

You guys remember the 2020 presidential campaign, right? The Hunter Biden laptop that was suppressed basically on every social media site in the

world, every internet site, couldn't report on it, couldn't talk about it

It was struck down. It wasn't because social media companies were conspiring to help get Biden elected

It's because the government interfered and said, no, no, no, this is disinformation

No, you can't put this up. You can't do this. This is wrong

Well, it turned out it was right. It wasn't Russian disinformation. It was true

And the Biden campaign, they want to run that same playbook now

I will agree that the video they're talking about here, which is Joe Biden appears to

be wandering off and giving a thumbs up to nobody, that the RNC posted, is doctored

It's edited. It's edited to make Joe Biden seem like he's lost, which you don't have to do

You can get real videos, and the man is pretty apparently lost

But they edited this video in such a way that it looks like that. What he was actually doing in the video, I'll let you know, he was giving a thumbs up to

some skydivers. And if you watch the actual real video, you can see the skydivers

So yeah, what they did was not cool. And I don't mind putting community notes on it like they do on X, which used to be called Twitter

I don't mind that at all. I don't mind if YouTube puts a little thing that says, hey, this is not actually what happened

That's fine, too. But what this campaign aid is talking about, again, is let's censor this stuff so people

don't see it at all. And that just leads to more censorship, because when you censor things that are fake, OK

But inevitably what happens is real things get caught in that net, and the social media

companies are afraid. They don't want to get sued. They don't want to get in trouble. So they start censoring a lot of things so that they don't get in any trouble

They know the playbook. They played it in 2020. They're trying to play it again

Let's take a look at this and then give me your comments. Let me know what you think about it

Disinformation is alive and well. We have to use surrogates and voices across the country to combat this and make it clear

that not only do we not play this game, but to your point, President Biden was out there

literally representing America at the G7, saluting our troops, doing what he does as

president of the United States. And look, we're going to see more of this. I mean, this is just the reality of campaigning in 2024

So we have to combat that disinformation. We have to hit it hard when it happens and make it clear that these are dirty tactics

that MAGA Republicans are using because they can't run on the issues, Lamar

They have to run. They have to use these dirty tactics like this because they are not right with Americans

on the issues. So we're going to see more of this. We're going to do what we can to combat it

But it does take the voices of surrogates across the country. It does take the media to call it out

It does take social media platforms where a lot of Americans are getting their information

to point it out as well
