CBS VP Debate Moderators Caught - Scandal Rocks Them Hours After Showdown

It really helps us out. The CBS debate moderators did something that I'm not surprised about

J.D. Vance said they weren't supposed to fact check, but apparently there was no agreement about that

That being said, News Nation's Chris Cuomo, you may remember him from CNN

He was livid with the ABC debate moderators. He is equally livid with the CBS debate moderators

And this guy cannot be described as a trumper by any means. his father the late great Mario Cuomo may he rest in peace was the governor of New York His brother Andrew Cuomo who was the Attorney General of New York He doesn come from a conservative family I don know what he is but he doesn come from a conservative family

He hasn't been, you know, he hasn't shown his cards as to who he supports

which is, I think, what a good reporter should do. I've always admired Cuomo, though I've had some issues with some of the things he said and done

That being said, this he lit into them, because what he said

was not only did they fact-check him, but when he was trying to, when Vance was trying to explain

his position, they wouldn't let him. They had to move on. In other words, they were getting the last

word for Walls, who was getting destroyed in the debate. Absolutely annihilated. Even

liberals are saying that they're furious today. They tried to downplay expectations for him

and he was worse than that. So it's not a huge, massive surprise that the CBS moderators got involved

but Cuomo is furious with them and with the state of journalism today

He said it before. I want you to watch what he says here and let me know what you think in the comments Listen you got a conversation tonight from two people who see what this country needs differently

but you did not get reasons from one or the other to hate the opposition

Isn't that refreshing? Now, we're going to be showing you moments of the Vance Wall's debate

and there were some moments that are going to resonate. The moderators created one, okay

When they were talking at one point, Vans wanted to correct something about how Haitians got into this country

And he was right. And the moderators wouldn't let him correct it

It's very interesting. Now, to the control room page, do you want to play some sound right now or do you want to go to Geraldo

Margaret, I think it's important because the debate, Margaret, the rules were that you guys were going to fact check

And since you fact checking me I think it important to say what actually going on That is the facilitation of of a legal immigration Margaret by our own leadership And Comole and Congress opened up that

Those laws have been on the book since 1990. Thank you, gentlemen. The CBP has not been on the books

It's since 1990. It's something that Kamala Harris created, Margaret. Gentlemen, the audience can't hear you because your mics are cut

Well, there you have it. And look, Vance was right. Okay? There's nuance to it

But the bigger problem is why he was moved on. We've got so much to get to

This says who. You know what I mean? Like, what is the schedule here? So you have a list of topics

That's not what it's about. It's about how the American people can access these two men and the two theories and the narratives

And you've got to let them have their speak because now you created a story where you're the problem

which is a huge theory of the case for the exact guy that wound up being

the subject of that. Will it matter? No, but it'll be in the media cycle
