Case Closed - Former DOJ Official Says Fatal Flaw In Trump Indictment Could Have Case Dismissed

make a fatal, fatal mistake that can cost them the entire thing

That's what just happened to the prosecutors who are trying to nail former President Donald Trump

So Jeffrey Clark, who served as a former assistant district attorney, noticed a fatal flaw in

the prosecution of Donald Trump. And it's a flaw that he says could actually get the case thrown out of court and ruin

the entire thing. See, the media, along with a lot of Democrats, have really been on the get Trump bandwagon

Get him at any cost. They don't care how, they don't care why, they just want to get him

If you lose in that fervor, though, you can really mess things up for the prosecution. Aw, what a shame

Let's take a look at what he had to say and what he believes is the fatal flaw in the

prosecution of Trump. In a Twitter thread, Clark says, I'm beginning to read the indictment against Trump, but even three pages in, it's clear

that the leaks that preceded the indictment are far too close to what is actually being

pleaded by DOJ to be a coincidence. For example, in paragraph 6A on page 3, we hear about the recording of the Bedminster

call which the MSNBCs of the world have been beating a dead horse about for quite a while

based on such leaks. This means that Trump's lawyers could not possibly be the source of the leaks

Ergo, the leaks are coming from DOJ. They must be investigated and punished

Also, this is grounds for granting a motion highlighting jewelry pool poisoning and dismissing

the indictment before it reaches even its one month birthday. All of this is so outrageous, it shocks the conscience

It's fundamentally anti-American. Trump witch hunt number what? I've lost count. Let's call it Trump witch hunt number 99

The indictment's all over the place, but if what he's saying is true, if it can be

proven that the Department of Justice itself was leaking information to the media, well

then that is cause for dismissal of the entire case because they've tampered with the jewelry pool

At that point, they've tried the case in public, in the court of public opinion without having

a judge say what can be allowed, what cannot be allowed. They've already set the stage and called this man guilty before anything can ever be done

You can't do that. It's illegal. He should know. He worked for the Department of Justice

So this is a really bad situation for them. And this beautifully laid out indictment, the one that they're licking their lips about

their mouths are watering over, it could all go bye-bye because they couldn't keep their

mouths shut because they had to try to persecute this man. I don't even know at this point if they want a conviction

They just want to destroy his reputation, I believe. I believe this is just a character assassination

It's been a character assassination since he came down that escalator and announced

his candidacy for president in 2016. Many of you may not remember this

It's been so long ago, but Trump was once a beloved figure

They talked about him, sang about him in rap songs. He was a big TV star

He was on all the shows. They laughed and joked with celebrities

He was beloved by the American people until he decided to put America first
