It really helps us out. you guys remember the attack in Butler, Pennsylvania. How could you ever forget it? It's something that will live in our minds forever. It's a piece of American history, a horrible piece of American history. Months later, there was another attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, this time thwart it by Secret Service who got to the shooter before he could fire a shot. Thank God. And now
0:57
Trump, as brave as ever, is heading back to Butler, Pennsylvania. And according to witnesses, the place is on extreme lockdown
1:09
It is nothing like it was the first time out where they said you could move freely
1:14
This time it is closed. It is tight. And, you know, it's a much, it looks like to be a much safer environment
1:22
But give him a lot of credit for going back to a place that has to have tremendous
1:27
tremendously traumatic memories for him and for a lot of people. And I wonder how many people from the first rally are actually going to be there
1:35
And if you were at the first rally, would you be attending this rally today
1:40
Or would you be permanently traumatized? I can't answer that question. I don know how I would feel It terrifying I want you to watch this video about what going on and then let me know what you think in the comments
1:54
As we've been making our way around the site here, look, last time you could walk around pretty easily
2:00
People could roam in and out of the rally site. Now, it is fully locked down
2:04
It is very difficult to get anywhere near the area. They're putting up physical barricades, barriers to block line of sight
2:11
from outside of the rally. So just massive, massive difference here. But we've also on us spent some time talking to people that went to that rally on July 13th
2:20
Some of the folks that I interviewed in the aftermath that day, I was at that rally and I was talking to people right, right after it all happened
2:28
I want you to hear from Donna and her son, Joe, a mother son that we interviewed on July 13th to talk about their experience since that day
2:38
So the last time I saw it you guys was under very different circumstances
2:42
How are you doing now? I'm doing a lot better. I will say when I got back from the Trump rally
2:49
it was very tough for me emotionally. I ended up in trauma therapy
2:55
You can't forget it. The way I described it to my therapist, I says, I can't get out of the bleachers
3:00
The worst I had was I work in industrial. And banging of a hammer, someone would drop something
3:06
would just make me jump, you know? Almost ready to run out the damn building
3:12
So, Anna, they are both coming back on Saturday. They feel like it is part of the healing process
3:18
They want to go. But understandably, there's still a lot of anxiety there
3:22
And Donna says she's going to be looking around and watching the security protocols
3:26
But she's excited to kind of take that final step in healing, Anna
