Gold Jewelry Melt and Sell

Being a backyard urban miner, or Yardminer for short, we trade in stored-value commodities which includes all metals, especially gold and silver. I purchased a large collection of broken jewelry and watches that came with an ounce and a half of gold coins and a vintage gold belt buckle. I paid around $4000 for it and immediately brought it to my gold buyer Charles over at Platinum & Gold Jewelers. We sorted and melted everything (except the coins) into a gold bar, and got myself a nice check for over $8000. Not a bad day's work.
